Hector jThis is not the date of move out. The General Manager lacks integrity and ageeed to remove fees as promised by a previous employee last week when I moved out. Takara Mills told me and my partner that she would remove $129.99 charge because of the date of move out. This is a false date of move out. The date of move out was October . I did not authorize auto pay for November storage fees. Please refund me credit card to prevent further damages to comply with state and federal regulations.

Soo LUpon entering the facility the rep was rude and unwelcoming. The U-Haul I was given was old, unclean, and poorly maintained. I was charged regular prices. When I returned the rental within the timeframe to not be charged an additional day, the office closed before the end of their closing hours. The manager refused to allow me to return the rental and insisted on charging me an additional day. I’m in communication with corporate management to get this resolved professionally. A major inconvenience and poor representation of U-Haul. I’m a career professional and this is extremely unfortunate and inconvenient. I’m disappointed I’ve rented from U-Haul for years and this isn’t my expectation of the company or anyone that bears the name.
ANGELA WAlthough this facility is clean and convenient, the constant price increases are unreasonable. The current price is almost $100 per month greater than competitors in the area.

CHRISTOPHER L | Overall ExperienceRidiculous drop off restrictions resulting in extortion. Forcing renters into full day rentals after 5pm with no option to drop of ANYWHERE. Learning so last minute doesn’t leave patrons time to adjust, nor is there any compensation plan for the UNCHARACTERISTIC expectations of the LOCATION (not the staff). To reiterate the staff is great. The location is obsolete.
CHRISTIAN OThe customer service clerk was extremely helpful, polite, and kind. She had to deal with a difficult customer ahead of me and was so professional and gracious. She kept her line moving quickly, was very personable and made my experience extremely easy, even when I was frustrated because of my move. Thank you so much, Ms. K! You were outstanding!

TERRY B1. I rented a vehicle and was offered a free month off my rental unit. apparently the assistant gm was "new" and comp month revoked. No biggy, but handled unprofessionally. 2. i called and got a lower rate than i currently pay, which goes to show you just raise it every year because you can...good for you.

My daughters rest her guitar on the golf cart and he got in it and started driving it and they were trying to get his attention to let him know it was on the cart, the guitar fell off and hit the concrete. Instead of saying sorry, Patrick told them it should not have been on there in the first place. Even if that is the truth he could have apologized. He had a real attitude that day and was totally unprofessional towards my family and I. I personally wouldn’t go back there, but just because I had a bad experience doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend this place. It is fairly new and very clean.

Raezinn WWe had to wait to get truck into gate because people were loading and unloading right inside and there was no way to get around. We finally were told we could leave truck outside of gate (making that space difficult with traffic. Car was blocked in by folks loading and loading. They finally moved so we could back out. SO they layout if FAR from perfect. Staff was amazing, though. And in the long run, that's what matters. But better flow would make things much easier.

Jeremiah SI had issues getting in my storage twice and I was only there for a month. I scheduled a moving date through a trucking company and was not able to get in my storage. I had to cancel my appointment. It was very frustrating!!!! It was also inconvenient !!!!

Then I was told that I needed to walk to the back of the property, about a quarter of a mile in the sun to pick it up, and again to drop it off. The lady at the counter was very kind and courteous. All my negative review is for UHaul. I won’t be using them again.
Michael MKennedy demonstrated customer care by assuring me that she would be with me because prior to me walking onto the premise she was taking care of other customers. However, she always assured me that she would take care of me. Great customer service!

I received no notice they would be closing in the middle of the day when the truck was due back at one. There was no drop box. I had to make two calls and wait 25 minutes before someone could come open back up to return the truck. Very unprofessional. Did not offer an apology for the inconvenience. I had washed the truck and they wanted to charge me for a little dirt on the driver side floor mat.

Simone GI’ve used U Haul services for years and I must say that I’ve never met a representative of your company that was as dedicated as Patrick located at your Buford, GA location. Patrick was knowledgeable, informative, and cared about his position and customers. He was quick to run down my options for a rental truck and great at explaining the coverage available plus he even talked about storage options. Patrick is the quintessential employee and he deserves recognition plus compensation for his dedication. I do hope that he is recognized for all his efforts because it’s hard to find employees like him.

I was told by personnel at the front desk that"we don't sign anything."I simply do not understand that attitude toward a customer who auto-paid every month and made the effort to leave the unit just as clean as when I moved into unit 6084.

JAMES L | Overall ExperienceTruck had no fuel. No furniture pads available. Wasted an hour going to another location to pickup and return pads as well as put enough fuel in to move. Made reservation ahead of time and this is what I got.
Dan MGuy at the desk was late which caused everyone to have to wait. He was rude upon arrival and drop off. At drop off he was on cell phone and did not acknowledge us although we stood right in front of him at the counter for 5 mins. The truck had none of what we requested. No tow dolly, no mattress pads, no furniture dolly which made the move so much harder.

My drop off was horrendous as a very rude nasty employee yelled out instructions to me then drove off without allowing me to drop off the truck or pickup my car from behind the fence. Also, the truck is very old and at some points during the rental, I wasn’t sure it would start.

I think there was some confusion (maybe just on my end) that there are locations not in Buford GA that are on Buford Rd and Buford drive. A real mess. I had the most chaotic 4 days of my life due to the move, accidentally started crying in the U-Haul storage facility, and the woman working was super nice, so thank you for that.

Giselle R | Overall ExperienceInformed facility that I moved from GA and would not be back for the items in my storage unit. This notification was ignored and I continued to accrue charges. My unit was auctioned off for $381.60 and I’m told I owe a balance of $258.25. I was paying $129 per month. The notice was given via email and over the phone. My charges should have stopped upon notification. Up until the notice was given my storage fees were paid. I will notify and advise everyone not to use your company.
