I didn't really enjoy my travel the truck jerked several times while traveling snatching me forward and backward. I smelled a strange smell at times but I could not detect from what area of vehicle the smell stem from exactly vs. Outside environment smell or other vehicles on highway such as 18 wheelers and or trucks of other kinds. The oil gage indicated oil was present according to the needle but there was a note that came up on dash board after miles of driving that indicates 0% oil at the same time. So that was confusing I don't know which was correct. I think I should be discounted and or refunded due to you releasing a truck that seriously need inspection and was unsafe to be on the road. The ride was suppose to be smooth and it was not enjoyable.phillis C.

The size I reserved was not available when I arrived. So they gave me a larger one which cost me more gas money. I could have rented that larger size at a location closer to my storage unit. So I'm disappointed in that because it cost me more time and more money. With that said I am still grateful you had a truck available.Angela L.
The location was clean, but not inviting. On my first visit, to return a car dolly, I stood at the counter while the staff member talked on the phone for ten minutes. On my second visit, to return the truck, I waited outside for 10 minutes before I staff member showed up to check in truck. It is not just this location, given the decline in service and price gouging, I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. I used Uhaul for my last 5 moves. After this most recent experience, I will not pay thousands of dollars again for poor service. It is obvious how much the executives invest in the customer facing staff.Isaac K.

It was clean, not inviting. Staff were helpful, eventually. The first visit, when I dropped off the tow dolly, I watched the staff talk on the phone for 10 minutes before being helped. The second visit, I stood in the parking lot waiting for 10 minutes for staff to show up to check in equipment. I imagine managers will chalk this up to a lack of staff. Really, this is do to a lack of good managers. Aren't managers responsible for staffing? Why are managers and VP paid salaries if they fail to accomplish their duties? My previous moves with Uhaul were good, that is why I returned. This move cost 2.5x my previous move (only 2 years ago) and was a terrible experience. I will not gamble thousands of dollars on Uhaul with my next move hoping that it will return to the level of service that had made me a return customer.Isaac K.

I requested (and was guaranteed) a 17' cube truck. Upon, arrival. I was informed the closest thing was a 26' truck, which was much larger than what I needed and caused major issues with my project. Don't guarantee the rental if you don't have the inventory.Kevin T.

The parking lot was way too small and only one entrance was accessible due to how they had the trucks parked. I asked the guy who took my keys a question about the return and he said â€œI don't know I just clean them.â€ For whatever reason they said it would take 20 minutes to print a receipt. While I was waiting on someone to help me at the counter, I had to explain to another customer why his rate was different while the two employees kept making incorrect guesses such as mileage(on a trailer) or it was a holiday.Hunter S.

Everyone was friendly and very helpful. My storage unit was good. I did run into a small issue once and they fixed it quickly. No complaints here. My stuff has been there for a few years and it has been safe and secure. They even went beyond and loaned me a broom once and filled my tire up with air when I was low. Things I needed at that time. I’m a new customer. This is my first storage rental. The only complaint that I have is it was difficult to place my lock on my 5/5 door because the latch wasn’t lined up. Had to rent truck one (1) extra day because I could not unload my belongings. I was unwilling to settle for a "climate controlled" space that was 88 degrees, humid, etc. I had to search for another facility that was appropriate and true to advertising of "climate controlled." Extra Stress, a different helper, extra miles, gas, etc, VERY DISAPPOINTED in that respect. I was never offered compensation due to facility's inefficiency to produce what was/they advertised!! The staff at 1010 S Memorial drive is amazing! Renting the storage unit was easy, convenient, and well explained. Our storage unit was being used a place to transition our belongings while moving from a new state and into a new house. This facility is very aged and that is very evident. The unit we had was dark and musty. It was broken into twice. Not that we expected the office to be responsible for the belongings but they didn't even seem to care. Just came and took a couple pictures the first time and said you can call the police out to make a report. Well, how about you work on security of your facility and how someone was able to climb over the walls into our unit? The second time we didn't even bother. We got a new bigger unit, for less $$ and fits what I would truly consider climate controlled. I would not recommend anyone I know to use this location. Great experience! The staff was very helpful and friendly. They got me in and out quickly, briefed me on the process, and took me to my storage unit. Two standouts were Tanya, the Manager, and Eddie, the Mechanic. Tanya guided me through the process and explained how things worked when renting a storage space.
