The individual assigned to my trailer could not properly attach the hitch to the ball, connect the lights or get me out in a timely fashion. I had to attach the second trailer (not required) myself prior to leaving because it was not fully seated (I could see the ball still). The wiring was never fully connected and the overall attitude was not comforting.
MICHAEL Sonly issue was system-wide network outage at pick-up time. Otherwise, efficient and easy.

I didn’t appreciate paying extra after I already put gas in, but the service was fast overall. The guy could of had bed customer service skills just seemed like he had a over it attitude.

Thomas FI scheduled a pick up at 9am for the Georgetown Rd location. Waited 30 minutes and no one showed up to open. I had to call the call center and have the pick up location changed, which was in the opposite direction from my starting point. It put me over an hour behind my intended start time, and I was already on a time crunch. The new location was fine and the call center rep was super helpful, but then at the end of the day I got charged an extra 2$ for going 2 miles over the estimated mileage. Which...isn't a huge deal, but was kind of salt in the wound. Also would have appreciated a better heads up on the extra $100 hold for using a debit card. If that was mentioned at any point online before the actual pick up, it was not obvious
David OThe restroom was quite clean! The equipment was good but the tire service light was on when we picked up the vehicle. We only drove 25 miles so it was fine but it does need servicing.
Martha HWhen I left the yard and once I got home I noticed the 6x12 open trailer had a very very low tire on the passenger side. I called you roadside assistance and they came within 45 minutes of me renting the trailer and changed out the tire. Thanks

SHARON BWent for the truck it was not available. I booked it online and it was guaranteed. I did get a truck but had to spend another 30 minutes in there because I had to redo the process. However the agent was diligent and got to me a truck as soon as possible.
MARK BI have rented from Uhaul probably 20-25 times over the last 20 years or so. Mostly a good experience. Not this time. I feel like they scammed me out of a $20 late fee. I was under the impression that I had the truck for 24 hours. Because I always keep it for the 24 hours. I even stated that I wanted it for the 24 hours after being asked by the agent. I brought it back the next morning. about 22 hours later. They said there was a late fee because it was due back in 12 hours and should have been returned last night. And that it "said so on the contract I signed" They made sure they repeated that to me twice. That I had signed it. So I then look at the contract and sure enough they only gave it to me for 12 hours. And I did sign it. So lesson learned. Even though I said 24 and assumed it would get that, because I had every other time, they only signed it out to me for 12 Im not going to go bankrupt over the $20 fee. But I will never rent from these shady M*****F*****s again.

LAVETTER LThe trailer was filthy not just dirty. It had a rotten smell inside and we did not want to put our belongings inside, but we had to. If I would have known the condition of this trailer, we would not have rented. Very bad experience.

Furthermore Management was not willing to do due diligence by speaking to staff prior to making decision on disagreements. Management was not a good representative of UHaul. Renter beware of this location.

SHAMEKA WWhen I placed ordered over the phone, I was not told I would need a major credit card for 9”van. i had to change the truck type. The truck was given with empty gas. Upon return, the check out person had poor customer service and a attitude
ERICA HTrailer clearance lights didn’t work. The parking wasn’t cleared off with snow which made it hard to get the trailer and return it. On the app when you return the trailer you can’t say it defective on the app or you can’t complete the check in when returning equipment. This is a big problem when no one is on site. Not convenient at all. This should be addressed.
Steve FNot sure why it’s advertised as $19.99 local when the actual cost is closer to $50. We only used the cargo van for one hour.

JASON KI was charged for gas that I shouldn't have been. I did fill gas back up to required amount, However, I was charged for 4 gallons that came out to $17 and some change. I didn't take a photo so I have no way to prove how much gas was in the truck. I did replace gas that was used.

SOULEYMANE DDistrict manager does not know the rules. He told me they couldn't enter credit card numbers in manually the day after a female employee did it for me. He was rude and not even open to hearing what I was telling him. He needs better customer service.

Karen MLook, this is a review for Uhaul's service on U-box delivery from U-haul storage to a local home in Indianapolis. I had them shipped from Baton Rouge and stored in Indy for a month. That part was 5 stars. The problem was the pickup/delivery from Uhaul on Michigan Road. They didn't have a 2-ubox trailer so my movers had to make 2 trips, and the movers were stuck there waiting for service as well.

We moved all our items from home into the U-Haul, filled the gas back up and arrived back at this location to now move items into a storage unit. Representative 1 obtained all my information, process payment, gave me my storage # & showed me how to access storage area. The movers open the storage unit and it was full of boxes from the previous storage owner. Representative 2 was notified and he stated “This is the customer’s fault.” & “We don’t have anymore units available.” I walked back to the front and Representative 3 (Hispanic Female) goes on to tell me “We don’t have anymore units here” “I am going to refund your money” “You have to go to another U-Haul location on layfette & see if they have a storage” “we check and clean storage at night” “we cannot touch the customers items in the storage.” Representative 3 didn’t care about us having to drive more miles to another location then back to this location to return uhual or the possibility that the next location might not have had any storage availability or that I had 2 movers waiting to unload our items for over an 1. Representative 4 gave me the mangers information and stated to call him immediately regarding this issue. After 1.5hrs the manager was able to provide me a storage unit and refund for first month (still waiting on refund) The manager was very professional, kind and compassionate about the situation.

There was a problem with my access card and staff members Stony and Jesus were always available to open the storage room and Stony put in great effort to investigate the problem by reaching out to his boss and then the supervisor above his boss too! So a huge shout out to the staff for being helpful. Monet was the agent who helped us secure the storage room and she was friendly and quick to get the room assigned so we could start moving in. The hallways are very well lit and there was even a cart we could use to move things into our storage unit. However the light in the storage room we rented was burnt out.
