Friendly and helpful
David SU-Haul Moving & Storage at Millard Ave is the absolute best location I have ever been to across all the states I have ever lived in. Nice, friendly manager and technician with excellent customer service skills. An asset to UHaul corporate and a pleasure to bring my business to. I will now ONLY go to this location in Metro Omaha.
Pedro VJake Flores was amazing as he helped me and others with our rental over month end. Despite the fact that the company computer system was down during midday on the 29th of the month, Jake Flores maintained his professionalism, pleasant attitude and can-do spirit. He explained directly and clearly that the system was down and he had to do everything manually and he was as efficient and quick paced as he could be. The wait time was longer, but those of us who stayed in queue were assisted properly, promptly and accurately. 2 people had to leave before being served, but they communicated with Jake Flores "Deli Style" and while Jake was helping customers at the counter, he was also giving information to people in line so they could make informed choices on their moving needs. One person who needed Propane waited 10 minutes and had to leave. He was informed the system was down. Another patron was asking many questions about what equipment was available for rent that day. Jake Flores provided the information as well as options up the road. She waited about 20 minutes before leaving. I was served after a 30 minute wait and again Jake explained the system being down but we got through the Backup Point of Sale paperwork easily enough and I drove off with a Silverado. I called back on the day scheduled for return and asked if I could extend. No problems extending and am very pleased with the ease of returning the vehicle. Any future needs for a local rental I will not hesitate to rent from U-Haul Millard branch for a great Chevy pick-up. Hopefully, the company system will be up and running just fine.
Tisha RI reserved a dolly (hand truck), but there was not one available when I picked up my rental truck. The employee checking us out didn't seem too concerned about it. At my request, he called another location, but they also had none. We were lucky enough to have friends who could loan us one; there were items we could not have moved without it. I think that is a major omission.

Jacqueline GEverything was great! The only thing I didn't expect was the $11 insurance is mandatory. That was a little frustrating as I was only using the van for an hour and my insurance would cover any damages. Regardless, I will definitely rent again.

Todd FComputer system was not working therefore took quite a long time to check in. I would hesitate to rent again as it was very time consuming to do the check in ahead of time but then have to start over once I arrived to pick up rental.

Additionally, we came to pick up an auto trailer that U-Haul asked us to haul to AR because it was needed, we let the gentleman know on Wednesday we would pick it up on Friday morning and it was not ready to go. We probably spent 30 minutes waiting for the trailer. Conversely, the location at 90th and Maple in Omaha...the staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful. I would rent from that location for overall efficiency and speed.

ram mExplain the cleaning fee more clearly. I rented on a wet snowy day and there was no way the floor would be clean when I returned it. You should just say there will always be a cleaning fee.

KEN SThe truck we received did not have sealed windows, there was an ear piercing sound coming from the windshield as we were driving. We never received a text, email, or paper receipt outlining charges after returning the vehicle several days ago now.

Brian GEmployees were fine but nothing special. Check engine light was on, the blinker stayed on after turning unless manually turned off and the ramp was stuck, which definitely decreased the ease of loading greatly. The gentleman that helped me did go out and blow it out before and it was reasonably clean at least.

Ned BWhen the L Street U-Haul did not have the unit I had reserved online, I desperately looked for another storage unit. I found this facility and explained the situation. The manager quickly had the one unit that had recently been vacated cleaned and let me move in and turn in my truck. In the four months that I have had the unit, the staff has been most helpful in letting me in when I needed access. I highly recommend U-Haul Moving & Storage at Millard Ave.
GRANT S | Overall ExperienceOnly reason I booked was based on the hours posted on the website. I showed up at 7:30 pm on a Sunday and the place was locked up. Sent a message to someone at the location to help, and did not recieve an answer for over 12 hours. The reply was incredibly insincere, referencing "normal business hours" despite the website. Storage access hours were cut off by 5 hours on Sunday.
