First of all, I had ordered my uhaul a month in advance to be picked up in Metairie. Got a call the day before that I had to go to Gretna. Then get there and their system is down and had to go all the way back gone then back. Then no store had a furniture dolly that I had ordered as well. Very frustrating when the website allows me to pick things at a store that doesn't have the right size truck AND when the equipment they offer isn't available. Probably not as much the gretna location as their employees were pretty helpful but still a very frustrating process.

Very seamless pick up and drop off. Would have preferred to rent moving blankets (as reserved) and was disappointed they were not available on the day but not that big a deal.

BJ (the manager)and my return attendant (I believe his name was Kendrick) were so sweet prompt and informative! I'd definitely recommend them! They made a stressful day just a little less stressful and I was extremely grateful

The staff is amazing! The store is clean and well stocked. The vehicle however, had a lot to be desired. The truck had a loose rubber gasket on the passenger door and an exhaust leak. The exhaust leak was possibly from loose rubber gasket on the console. There was a front running light out. There was a high pitched sound while driving. Also, the after hour check in is extreme. People should be told in advance all of the steps involved.

I'm really disappointed the store don't answer the phone and they over charged me for the second time charged me a cleaning fee for an open Motorcycle trailer that already clean and the online app didn't check me in and charged a 20 something dollar fee very very disappointed also the associate charged me another 8 upon getting the rental and he didn't know how to take it off 63 dollar when the rental suppose be 16 dollars

My only complaint is that, although I tried on three separate occasions, I was never able To speak to anyone or to make the reservation over the phone. I had the physically go to the location to reserve the truck. Other than that, it was easy, the young lady was professional, and the truck functioned well.

I rent from you all a lot I never have a problem with the exception of this time. The manager attached two fees to my bill that I don't agree with. 90.00 worth of extra fees. I am very angry about it .

The employee from last night 9/10 explained the details very fast and blamed the scanner for the ID not working on my phone and had an unnecessary attitude. The employee from this morning 9/11 did not greet us as we walked in and also had an unnecessary attitude. We will not be using this location again nor would we recommend it to friends and family.

first rental they changed last minute to pick up at new orleans east. I went back to ask why? young man said, i can't do anything about it. you have to cancel or pick up. so i cancelled. went back next day spoke to another person. she re did my reservation for 26' truck pick up at that location. No one ever answered telephone calls. your employees seemed stressed and overwhelmed. possibly understaffed or inexperienced. there was always a line of about 5 deep outside in this heat.

the personnel where cold and indifferent about any question or concern I had. they even said if I bought a proper trailers hitch ball to match the trailer rented they wouldn't change the ball to my receiver of my vehicle. I picked up a trailer at 11:15 and indicated that I would return at about 5 the following day . I specifically asked would there be an extra charge if I did that or would it be same cost if I return early on the 14th. The girl said exactly that if I returned before closing it would be considered a one day rental. When I received the invoice I was charge for two days. So basically the counter person lied to me or she wasn't competent enough to understand the question.

Reserved a 17 foot truck, but received a 15 feet truck. Staff did not inform me that the 17 foot truck was not available until after I received the keys and inspected the vehicle.

We rented the U-Haul and because we were not told if we did not pick @ the time, we lost the rental. The associate customer service skills needs more training. The vehicle we did rent, the wheels were out of line. It was a scary drive once we started driving.

Overall decent experience. However, I booked the unit through your main u-haul corporate number as it was done simultaneously as booking the trailer. The service agent clearly stated that I had a unit at this location that was climate controlled. I get to the location and they do Not have my reservation and cannot offer a climate controlled unit. This was frustrating. Then to be told we will be charged an extra $2 per furniture blanket if we don't fold them....REALLY?! Other than that, experience was decent. Team at this location still was helpful in resolving the issues.

Customer service was Horrible. The young man had an attitude the entire time it was as tho I Interrupt him. He was short, no explanation at all to what I was asking concerning the card to swipe to gain entrance to my storage on the third floor. He was just unconcerned about waiting on me.

I reserved a uhaul for February 29 at 7am ., totally forgot about that time made it to uhaul around 8 only to find the truck was No longer available., no warning Na email reminder nothing. I e reserved vehicles for personal usage and never received this type of service. Uhaul should definitely look into this policy and make the employees more sympathetic with customers because the attitudes are terrible

My only problem with u haul is the fact, yearly the storage fees went up. I know it cost to maintain any business. However, in the eleven years I stored my merchandise the cost became unaffordable.
