I reserved a vehicle the day before for 10am, and was notified about 830am minutes before I was scheduled to pick up that there was no vehicle available. I was told they would have a truck around 8 hours later that day. I went to retrieve the truck at 5pm, arrived at 445 waited in line more than 30 minutes, and then was told I had to return truck by 7pm.

There were roaches in the van i rented and I was quite a bit confused about my rate, I thought I would understand more once I spoke with a representative from Uhaul but that only made matters worse due to unprofessional customer service.

I dropped off my uhaul and the gentleman that was in charge of drop offs was extremely rude. I was charged $86 more with out notice. He told me that I dropped off at the wrong location and that I did not girl 6 blankets and did not cut off 5 prices of string. I have pictures to show proof. He was wrong in every way!! I told showed staff the email from uhaul that I was at the correct location and told the staff that I would fold the 6 blankets and cut off the 5 pieces of string and they told me that I was to late that I had already been charged and that they could not refund me the money because they needed to talk to the manager. Horrible service! We will never go with uhaul again no recommend them to anyone!

Make your online form easier to understand, especially with editing payment methods. Also, if a reservation is made don't attempt to charge for additional items that were not in the initial reservation. It's very frustrating for customers when we agree to one thing and at the register are presented with another more expensive option.

They were all hands off when showing them the damage done to my vehicle before unloading it off the tow. They told me to file a claim online and someone would call me in regards to the damage done to my vehicle, including getting video from the Cicero location, proving the employee is responsible for the damage done. I have yet to hear from anyone.

The check engine light was on in the van I rented. The customer service ranged from disinterested to rude. I feel I was over charged but it was a long day and I was tired to I paid the extra 31 dollars.

After driving for an hour or two I went to place a shopping bag behind the passenger seat. When doing this I saw a bottle filled with a yellowish liquid in it. Upon further inspection this bottle was found to contain urine which I had to remove from the vehicle myself. As well, about ten hours into the drive I started noticing the transmission slipping. By the time I was three quarters of the way through the truck was not shifting into its highest gear causing it to burn through gas at an exponentially higher rate. And last but not least when running at these higher rpms the ac would stop working which in the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona at 115 degrees Fahrenheit was flat out dangerous. When I called and spoke to the uhaul help line I was told that as the truck was still driving neither of these things qualified me for a replacement truck or roadside assistance and then was referred to call another number, at which point I was an hour outside of having cell phone service descent enough to to carry a conversation with.

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I will not be using this location again for our next move. We were called and told that if we returned our truck a day early we would receive a $50 credit. Upon returning the truck early the credit was refused. Employees were impatient and refused to discuss the issue with me on several phone calls. Two phone calls later to customer service my credit is finally (hopefully) being processed. Customer service is a difficult job, I know from experience, but this level of rudeness is not necessary nor motivation to use U-Haul again for future moves.

The reservation process was easy to do but the customer service was lacking. She had no motivation to help answer any questions. During pick up the trailer was not made available at the time it was requested and confirmed. They claimed it was stolen when in fact it wasn't. They lied to us that it was there the night before when we visibly checked the night prior and it wasn't there. The staff continued to lie as we tried to work it out. Glad we will never see this business again.

The location called to ask me what time I was bringing my equipment back. I asked them if it would be okay if I kept it until 1pm even though my return time was around 11am. They lady on the phone said "oh yes, certainly it won't be any problem!". When I returned the equipment around 11:45am that day I was charged $40 for an extra day. I understand that that is the uhaul policy but how hard would it have been for the lady on the phone to say "no problem but you will be charged for an extra day." I understood her no problem comment as her giving me an extension with the truck for a couple of hours. And honestly none of this would have mattered at all if the staff had been pleasant in any way. The man who checked in my truck with the phone device was very kind and he was the one who sent me inside bc he said I should not have to pay the $40. All of the inside staff was rude and condescending even when I approached them with humor and kindness. I will likely be using budget in the future.

This is for the people in traffic management. I did not receive notification of my rental till an hour and fifteen minutes before my pickup time. I never received any notification the day before the rental. Had my wife not had an engagement that morning, I would have already departed without the rented trailer. Prior notification fell far short of what was promised.

Your employees could have better attitudes, afterall, their job is customer service. When a customer complains about something not working, your employees can be more apologetic, more sincere, and take ownership of tbe problem instead of trying to prove them wrong. Overall my experience was horrible and I would never use uhaul in the future.

My overall experience was fine unfortunately it was rain and was not able to check the truck. I order a furniture roller cart and it was not on the truck my son told the clerk about but my card was still charged for it . He was told they needed the card to take it off but they asked how any miles and we said 50 guessing, and we went 15 and that was adjusted but $7 couldn't be adjusted. Strange don't you think.
