Honestly, the young lady who performed the paperwork for my rental was not pleasant at all. She was just the may I help you and have a good day type. She did her job, but definitely not a people person. She also speaks so fast, as if I've done this process before. If I had to rent from this location again, I would personally walk in and walk out of she was the agent taking care of me. I would come back at another time of day, another day or go to another location. Everyone else were extremely nice, from the young lady who made my reservation the day before to the young man who had taken the truck in for inspection. They were awesome.

The new process of having the customer do more work makes me feel like I am at a self check-out. I should not be charged a fee if my phone is too old to download the u-haul app in order to complete the equipment return. I was "fussed at" by a clerk because I was "holding up the line" while the attendant attached the trailer to my vehicle, when the problem was the new u-haul process of completing the rental process until after the trailer is connected to my vehicle.

The customer service at the desk was not acceptable. The rep took a long time as she was talking normal conversation with the other worker while we were trying to check in. I did a pre-checkin on the app and thought I checked the correct box for insurance which I also get full coverage. I was involved in an accident and found that I was not covered for liability????? I think upon picking up the truck the attendant should go over all insurance choices with you to insure you are covered correctly!!

The Uhaul truck was old with a lot of problems. Driver's side door was hard to open and made a loud sound when opening. Key didn't work in the passenger door. Keys got stuck in the ignition several times. Not a good truck for a 1000 plus mile trip.

I rented a 10' box truck and was not told that I would be charged $1.29per mile even though I drove the truck less than 15 miles round trip. What can you do to improve for the next customer is if a customer is moving stuff within a 20 mile radius, he/she shouldn't be charged the $1.29 per mile especially when you have to put fuel back in the truck.

I have rented from U-Haul multiple times and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Prior to moving in I received the traditional email with my unit number, access code, and storage hours which are listed as 6am - 10pm. Once I arrived to the storage I tried entering my access code and I received an error message saying invalid code. I informed the manager and she said “o you don’t need a code because your storage is on this side.” I didn’t think anything of it and said ok thank you. After moving in I went to my storage after the office was closed but during storage access hours to retrieve something and to my surprise I was faced with the same message access denied invalid code. At this point I’m totally confused so I call the 800 number to see what’s going on to only be told they can’t issue me code I would have to speak with the property manager. I was scheduled to go out of the country the next morning and needed to access my storage then and there. After misssing my trip I called the property manager as soon as they opened to get an access code so I can gain access to my belongings and she informed me “we don’t give codes here you can only get in your storage when the office is open.” I was at a total lost for words as I have never heard of anything like this especially since I have an email stating other wise and again this was not my first time renting from U-Haul but it was most definitely my last. Ms. Aleisha Smith is a crook and she is robbing people out of their money. Due to her customer service I will never rent from U-Haul again nor will I recommend anyone to rent from them either.

When I got there yesterday the employee told me the storage was close and it was only 6:00 pm. The email I got and also the customer service rep I called that same day said the storage close at 10 pm. So I was not able to get into my storage on the day I was supposed to move into it and also I had to use gas to drive 2 hours to where I stay at and 2 hours back to the storage place the next morning. The employees didn’t help at all. All the employees need training on how to deal with customers or be fire or something. This was the worst customer service experience I ever experienced.

This place needs a serious training in customer service and relations. I had an cashier associate tell the cashier that was waiting on me ,she didn’t need to apologize to me, I front of me because their system was running slow . Of course I asked her why would she say that in front of the customer with meat amazing right there. Ohhh,it escalated and yes she had every right to call the police. I read he so bad. I called to speak with the manager she made a promise to compensate me,which I never received an email with any changes included. Didn’t happen. However, these ladies need to be on undercover boss,that’s how rude and ignorant they are at the U-Haul West Bank , Gretna , LA location. The next month I closed out my storage and moved on. You shouldn’t try people you know nothing about. That’s making a long story short

The internet says that the storage facility is accesable until 10pm and after i rented it and was given a code, i couldn't get in at 6:30 pm and was told the following day that access was only during business hours. Overall decent experience. However, I booked the unit through your main u-haul corporate number as it was done simultaneously as booking the trailer. The service agent clearly stated that I had a unit at this location that was climate controlled. I get to the location and they do Not have my reservation and cannot offer a climate controlled unit. This was frustrating. Then to be told we will be charged an extra $2 per furniture blanket if we don't fold them....REALLY?! Other than that, experience was decent. Team at this location still was helpful in resolving the issues.

Customer service was Horrible. The young man had an attitude the entire time it was as tho I Interrupt him. He was short, no explanation at all to what I was asking concerning the card to swipe to gain entrance to my storage on the third floor. He was just unconcerned about waiting on me.

I reserved a uhaul for February 29 at 7am ., totally forgot about that time made it to uhaul around 8 only to find the truck was No longer available., no warning Na email reminder nothing. I e reserved vehicles for personal usage and never received this type of service. Uhaul should definitely look into this policy and make the employees more sympathetic with customers because the attitudes are terrible

My only problem with u haul is the fact, yearly the storage fees went up. I know it cost to maintain any business. However, in the eleven years I stored my merchandise the cost became unaffordable.
