The girl at front checking us in was super rude and rushing us. The truck's door barely closed, and the seatbelt didn't work.. there's no way to adjust the mirrors either. Horrible experience. I don't usually need to rent a truck, but this was horrible.Lindsey A.

The employees were rude when I went in person to rent so I decided to use the online service. The trick was returned at 1am on Thursday and was rented on Tuesday but I was charged for 4 ,full days and the gas was not calculated properly and when I told the lady on the phone I needed more time with the truck she said she was reporting me to the police for theft. I was like excuse meCarol L.
Continue to support your location manager and her team. Moving is difficult and rarely follows a preset schedule. I was completely supported by the UHaul Team. Thanks ðŸ™ðŸ¾WILLIS M.

Associate in store was rude and asked us to wait outside for not having on masks While they were two of our customers in the store when we walked in without masks on. She did not ask these people to put a mask Until after she told us the second time. She did not ask them to leave. When she came out to talk to us she was very rude and Rolled her eyes several times. The young lady who checked me in this morning was horrid. She had no sense professionalism and seemed no more than a robot reciting rental terms. She failed to explain the procedure for pre trip inspections as I hadn't rented a uhaul in years. I waited for someone to assist me and that never happened until I had to find a manager. I'll pass on Uhaul from now on and go with Penske.Crystal B.

I called every day last week every day! And while everyone is nice on the phone. I was unable to contact local scheduling, no matter which number I called it rolled over to another state so therefore I was unable to get my scheduling needs and questions answered. It was incredibly frustrating to call every every day, sort of shocking. I also sent messages through the website to no avail, I replied to the texts I was sent, to no avail. Also I would preferred to be able to pick up close to my home at the Tulane Avenue location. The other locations in New Orleans are too far.JULI J.
I rent a 15 feet truck and a dolly. Pay with my Credicard 3 days before the pick day. Arrive at the location and they say they did not have a 15 feet truck and the dolly. Ended up taking a 12 feet without a dolly. How can you rent out something you do have? Because, I had no dolly I had to lift things such as refrigerator, washer, drier, heavy stuff. My back is killing me. I will have to see a doctor tomorrow. All because U-haul would honor the reservation I made and I pay them. Worst part of all. A friend of mine had to use his creditcard to pay for the truck because the lady said she could find my credit card number in the system. Long story short, I pay twice for a crap service, and I will have to see a doctor tomorrow. I do NOT recommend U-haul to anyone after this experience.Steven L.

I rented a small trailer for transporting a motorcycle. When I loaded the motorcycle on the trailer I noticed that both tires looked low. I checked the air pressure and it was less than 10 psi in both tires. If I had not been paying attention and put a heavy load on the trailer I probably would have had a blowout to deal with. The tires did not look low without the motorcycle on the trailer, so I think some people probably would not have caught it.Aaron B.

When we arrived for our reservation, to my surprise there was no line. The associate was very friendly. She told me to pull up to the equipment tent and someone will help me get set up. The guy outside told us where to go for the trailer and he ran across the street to meet us. We didn't have the right adapter or hitch for the trailer but the associate was really informative and helpful with explaining to us exactly what we needed and where to go. He sent us to Auto Zone down the street (where we ended up having awesome customer service), and we came back with the right hitch and adapter. Then he ran across the street again to meet us. Then he once again pulled the trailer up to our truck and set everything up. However the lights wouldn't work on the trailer, even with the new adapter. He looked at it thoroughly and asked us questions pertaining to the vehicle. Then he suggested that the most likely reason would be a blown fuse. We knew nothing about fuses. So he proceeded to show us under the hood where the fuse was, and took a look at it to best try to help us. He sent us back to AutoZone and told us exactly how to explain it to them for help. Luckily, again we had amazing service from Autozone. They changed out our fuse, which was blown just like the u-haul rep told us. Then we came back for the third time. And wouldn't you know it the third time was the charm just like the u-haul rep said. He was really sympathetic with us, totally patient and helpful. We had him running around all over the place and he never ever seemed to have a problem with it. It was hands down the best u-haul experience I've ever had, in the 20+ times we've used your company in the last few 10 years.Jane A.

When we entered the store, the woman at the counter waited on us but a phone call that should have been put on hold, was taken and she ignored us to speak with whoever was on the other line. She behaved rather rudely and handed papers to us as though we knew what we were supposed to do. Eventually the call ended and she told us where to drop off the trailer. The gentleman who helped us unload and return the trailer was very pleasant and very helpful.Pam T.

All good except the return. The location closes at 500pm. I was there at 445pm and they were locked up and lights out. An employee was inside and totally ignored my banging on the glass window 20 feet away from him. Repeated blasting of my car horn he finally came to the door but would not open and check me in. He said something but I could not hear him through the closed door. I took pictures of the truck , odometer and fuel level, dropped the key in the night drop and hoped for the best. Very annoying when a business closes early like this and didn't tell me rental time. Had I known I wouldn't have rushed to get there before closing.Brian S.

I locked my keys in the truck I had to call AAA to unlock the truck the facility should have a spare key for all trucks or a master key the vehicle was not clean on the outside but clean in the inside the young lady who helped me was outstanding she did a fantastic job the lady who works there full-time in the morning at 2 or the afternoon sometimes I retired military you guys are not here military discounts truck number the first truck I wanted to rent had a check airbag light it was yellow that mean it was really a hazard but it was still onALLEN T.
My debt card was swiped 8 times taking $100 each time. And by business credit card as well. And the truck didn't have appliance dolly that I ordered online before arriving. This has been the worst experience! From incompetence of staff and broken card reader, I will never rent or recommend this establishment.
