1 issue / problem. Read below. Gentlemen who checked me in was 100% perfect. I was late for the pickup by 15 minutes but everything was perfect. In and out 10 minutes tops. Returned vehicle in 3 minutes. I pulled in and a gentlemen was waiting for me to stop so I can jump out. Let truck running. Counted all the equipment. No issues other than 1 problem. The fuel level was extremely low. I pulled out of the lot and the light came on. First thing you need to do is FILL THE TRUCK UP before a renters or client uses the truck. I put in $20 bucks and took the fuel level up to a quarter tank. I was disappointed but it was minor. Overall experience was a 9 out of 10. Just fuel level is all that marks this down 1 notchMICHAEL R.

My name is Michelle Garnett and I did not rent a truck. My information somehow landed on someone's contract that I don't know. Spoke with someone that said he was the manager and was told that my phone and email address would be removed but I received more correspondence. I was also told that my phone number was provided by the customer so they pulled up my file, well they changed the name but not my phone number or email address. Thankfully they changed the payment information because this conversation would be a Lot different. This was an epic fail and poor attention to detail. Although I presented my Driver's License AND Military ID to your Customer Representative I did not receive my "military discount." I am a veteran of 23 years in the USAF and have "always" received a discount from U-Haul in the past with conus to conus moves. In my haste, I regret not seeing the discrepancy ahead of time. The initial delivery experience was wonderful, but the person who picked up our full pods and delivered them to our new home was in a HUGE hurry and that was clear to us when we opened our pods. The location and everything was up to my expectations. However, the vehicle I rented had a faulty fuel gauge that led me to overfilling the tank. The gauge was stuck in a lower position even after I started the vehicle, put it in Drive and drove a little. When I noticed that the fuel gauge moved and rested but was not where I needed it to be, I proceeded to add more fuel. Knowing that something was wrong I checked the fuel gauge and it later jumped to 3/4 of a tank. The contactless pickup process was cumbersome. I had to walk back and forth across the entire lot a few times to work through the process. I parked near the office, where I started the online process to get the van I reserved. It said to go find the van in the specified spot, which was on the other side of the lot. Then I had to figure out 2 alternate contacts on the spot and had to make sure they both would answer their phones. After that, it said I had to go to the lock box to get the key, which I had originally parked directly in front of. So then I had to walk all the way back to the office, get the key, then walk all the way back to the rental unit. I feel like some of this information (about setting up alternate contacts or having alternate ID could have been sent before I arrived so that I could just quickly check-in and get the van. Instead I spent nearly 20 minutes on this scavenger hunt.Paul C.
