The overall rental and truck were fine however the new Uhaul after hours drop off requirements is a ripoff. You are forcing people to have to use the mobile drop off or pay $20 additional dollars to do YOUR job. My job is to rent the truck, pay you, and turn it back in the right place. Since when is it the customers job to take 3 pics of this and that to send on a mobile site just to ensure you are good to go and not charged extra? Not to mention no matter how many times I tried I could not get the location setting to work on my phone after following the directions and everything. Luckily my wife saved the day by using her phone otherwise I would have been late as well waiting for the phone to work. Bottom line, I'm not a fan of the new mobile drop off procedures.Scott G.

While the building was clean and the staff friendly, this location is a nightmare. There was not enough room for parking outside the gate to go into the office, there was not enough room to unload your vehicle outside the building, and there was not enough room to even drive around the building! People were having to move their vehicles just so people can get around the building!! It made no sense why this storage and return would be put here at all!! I always come to this location and has never had an issue at all. The online check-in and return process can be challenging. This was my first time doing this process Please give full instructions for online return. At the minimum, tell customers the photos they will need. I took pictures of the mileage and gas gauge and dropped the key in the drop box and went to my car to finish the online check-in process and when I got to the questions at the end, it asked me if the flat bed was clean and it was, however it asked for a photo. I was not able to get a photo because I put the keys in the drop box and I had to choose no. At the end it charged me $25.00 for cleaning for a truck that was already clean. I also placed a note at the end of the online check in when it asked if I agreed with the charges as I did not agree with the charges. I would like to be reimbursed. If you do online return, please be sure you get a photo of the back of the truck, mileage, and gas gauge as the mileage and gas gauge photos take place in step 1 and the you will need the flatbed photo in step 4. They should really place the flatbed pictures cleanliness question in step 1.Arnitra L.

I Rented A Uhaul Thursday a week ago and the tank was on 1/4 . When i returned it to where the tank was they charged me $30.00 because the tank wasn’t on 1/6 when they gave it to me on 1/4 ( I Have A Picture Of it ) also when i returned the truck i asked the man that works there could he check it before i go he stated that it will take 20mins before he get to . As i processed to leave it wasn’t even 5mins he checked the truck i would recommend getting a storage there but a uhaul Truck absolutely NOT . The employee that helped me was very nonchalant. The truck was parked on the curb I had to turn it around and bring it up front for me to leave. The employee pointed in the direction in which the truck was parked but didn't actually walk me there or the walk-through on the truck. It took me several solo trips of going out to the parking lot to find it, which could have been avoided. When I came in I had to wait a while for her to come out of the employee quarters. I was not told my â€œreservationâ€ was changed to another location until I showed up at the designated location. The agent told me it had changed and called someone; I then received a text informing me my reservation had changed. There is not adequate parking at the location I was later assigned. I had to park my vehicle in a parking lot across a busy boulevard. I want to know where my $50 is for not having my truck when I showed up for my reservation. Everything was fine, aside from one issue that was a pain. When we moved in, the night of the 14th, and there was a car parked literally flush and in front of the hallway to access the rack, elevators, and all. We even took a photo of it. The car was in our way and we even had to hit it a few times to properly move in. There was no way to alert whoever the car belonged to or anything. The check in process is so unnecessarily long and complicated. If you are going to offer mobile check-in, it has to be significantly simplified. I ended up having to go inside to check-in which was also a slow process, taking an additional 20 minutes. Looking for other moving truck options in the future. Process contains questionable business practices and very impersonal. It is set up this way to add unnecessary and fraudulent charges. At rental, you receive text with images of unit from 6 feet away. You are to accept there is no damage but you can't see the van up close. There was damage and i was told to still â€œaccept images as if no damage and take photos.â€ Fast forward 3 hours later to return. Sign states stay with rental til someone comes to inspect. After waiting awhile, i went inside. They took keys and said thank you. I asked for them to inspect the vehicle and was advised by female GM they will do it later. I explained about the damage and pictures and was told to email them to her. Again, i will get a final bill later. I received a bill and they added 3 gallons of gas at $13+ for the total of 36 miles i used. It's ironic as i got gas (over 2 gallons) before I returned the van. It's hard to believe the van used over 5 gallons of gas in those 36 miles. Again, if inspected at return, when customers are present the customer could dispute these additional charges. Rent same vehicle of Uhaul on Southside Blvd and had a great experience. I'm not sure I would use Uhaul again with these practices in place.HEATHER V.

This location is way too small. I had other customers asking me to move out of the way so they could exit. You cannot drive a truck in there to access your unit because there is not enough room. It is a one way narrow driveway and you can't drive out because there are trucks parked in the return aisle waiting to be checked-in, blocking the way. it is impossible to turn a moving truck around in this small facility. You cannot contact anyone at this facility over the phone because their calls are automatically forwarded to the 800#. They do not offer one month free storage with a truck rental. As an added bonus I was overcharged. Definitely would not recommend unless you are moving into a storage unit via your own personal vehicle.
