It's hard to find the entrance of the office. There are no signs at the front of the building. A large sign in front of the building-so you go to the front doors. But the office is in the back? it's a huge multi business building. Maybe some arrows would be nice..something? The truck stalled at a red light and started moving backwards. I had to turn it off and on again. Then the check engine light came on. Why so many service fees? I literally didn't even talk to anyone. It was completely virtual. A lady handed me my keys. That's it. Advertise 19.95. Okay you figure gas for 25 total miles. $30-$35 dollars but love the fees and scam insurance for your bullshit company. Thanks for ass raping your customersAndrea H.

My uhaul truck was cancelled (due to lack of trucks available) so I couldnt move out before my month renewed. When I moved out 2 days later, I asked if I could get a prorated amount since uhaul cancelled my reservations. I was told to talk to the manager. So I called back several times and was never able to get ahold of Jen. I was told multiple times she would call me back, but never got any call from anyone. The facility was clean amd well kept but communication was non-existent from the manager when I needed help. All the other associates were nice and helpful. It was just frustrating to pay another month of storage when uhaul was the ones who cancelled my move in the first place.Anna A. | Overall Experience
The 10 foot van we rented, stated right on the outside of the van that it was v-8 with more power, so when we stated out the back of the van was empty and we were pulling a car hauler and was driving across Kansas. The van could not pull even small hills with out losing much of the power from 65 to 40,that meant that it took us 12 hours to get home. The van really needs more power to pull up hills.russell P.
I reserved the 6x12 trailer that on the website showed $29.99 a day. When I went to pick it up they only had the 12x6 with a ramp for $34.99. When I explained I should only be charged the $29.99 rate like the one I reserved the manager just said sorry the one with a ramp is $34.99 and didn't care!Damian P.
I was switched to this location after the first location did not have the reserved cargo van available for me. Then upon arrival to this location they also did not have a cargo van. After about 40 minutes, they lent me a pick up truck instead. This was fine, but the pick up is smaller (and I have no straps because wasn't planning on a pick up) so it took more loads to move everything, so we couldn't move it all in the original allotted time. I received a call at 5:01 saying the next customer was waiting for the truck (I was supposed to bring it back at 5:00). Do they not give time for cleaning and other issues? After not receiving my appropriate vehicle, being switched locations, and then given a truck they also reserved the truck to a new person at the exact time I was supposed to return it â€¦ bizarre. Also did not receive or ask for a discount because I'm aware the weekend before Labor Day is very busy. But things did not go smoothly.EMMAJEAN S.

The fact that you won't guarantee a truck or made changes to u-box drop off locations at will was extremely inconvenient for me, especially since I was moving out of state. The U-Haul storage facility was all good but they don't pro-rate the rental so I basically paid $60+ for 1 week. There is zero reasons why they can't pro-rate. I also got different answers from different people about the equipment rentals and pro-rating the storage unit. The truck appeared to be full of gas but, after driving it and returning after 10 miles, I refueled it with 4 GALLONS OF GAS. This seemed very unfair to me and I can't help but wonder if the employees didn't bother filling it up before hand to save them time and money. The buck was passed onto me and I spent almost half of the rental cost ($33) for gas I didn't use. Shawn Miles and Jason Carr Helped me the last two times I rented a trailer. I rented Saturday, August 14 and again today. Jason and Shawn were there both times And they go above and beyond to help. They are very friendly and helpful and I watched other customers treat them like crap but they stay positive and do an amazing job. These are two guys you don't want to lose as employees! They definitely go above and beyond to give this U-Haul location and the U-Haul brand a positive reputation. My huge complaint is with the mobile app, which doesn't work most of the time, especially with pictures. Then, I was on hold twice with 24x7 service for over an hour until my phone battery died. Hire people for you help line and 24x7 line. Totally useless as they currently exist.Joseph P.

The gentleman that helped me get my truck (he even pulled it up so I didn't) have to walk so far, and the gentleman that checked in my truck (Devin?) were polite, friendly, and prompt. The lady (Jen?) was extremely nice and apologized multiple times as I had movers sitting around because the system was down (costing me $90/hour) and promised to "make it right" when I returned. I was treated like a criminal, photographed and that compared to my DL by some far away person who rejected them. The clerk then wanted a contact person in case I stole the truck (and stated it for that reason). All this even though I had rented trucks several times in the last four months If U-Haul is a quality organization I think it proper for a repeat customer to be treated like a quality customer. Flag me as such, I will not be treated like a thief ! There are plenty of other places for me to do business that don't treat their customers like this. And when I returned the truck I wasn't given a receipt, she said it would be emailed. Not yet, even 7 hours later, this survey came but not a receipt. As of now I do not have a document that says I returned the truck in good condition. Folks, demand your transactions in paper while there !Robert H.

The gentleman Shawn didn't know what he was doing, kept messing up the account and order, kept us at the facility for hours. I missed other appointments I had per that day, then having to go back and forth purchasing items, retrieving items because he did not know how to set up the account and save it, thus having to redo everything. He showed me the Storage and got plastic pieces stuck it in where it didn't want to lock had to contact someone to fix it. Then I received a phone call 8am to return a trailer I rented at 7pm for 24 hours stating it was over due, the lady that called me simply stated I will extend it and add stuff to my account that made no sense if Shawn and Chris told me the return time was 7pm the following day than to be harassed by someone not only calling my phone but my family members. Then I called back and asked her how did this make sense and she said for I told hold or that she would call me back because she had to assist other customers and never called back! Horrible service, horrible customer service, no military discounts available, waste of time, waste of taxing me everytime to purchase something additional after they forgot to mention a requirement of one item or another. The truck was clean, and the engine ran well. BUT, it was markedly out of alignment, the seal in the drivers side window was damaged so that the wind and road noise was unbearable. We had to use duct tape to help with the seal. The side mirrors would not stay in place and needed constant readjustment while driving.JOHN S.

This is by far the most professionally-run UHaul I've ever experienced. All of the staff were polite, prompt, friendly, and helpful. I was also very impressed with the various protocols for servicing the vehicles, both before and after I picked up my van. Clearly, the management knows how to run an effective, customer-centered business; all in all, I was very impressed. I found this U-Haul Moving & Storage facility at Tiffany Square here in Colorado Springs not only clean and easily accessible (several dedicated loading/unloading parking spaces at the entrance) but GM Jason Carr to be very friendly & helpful -- as was Don, one of the other U-Haul employees who helped me on move-in day. Further, the rental rates are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering this is a climate-controlled facility in fairly expensive Colorado Springs.
