Ordering, delivery and pick up of box in AZ, was Excellent. U-Box was Guaranteed to be delivered on the 18th of Jan. Wasn't delivered until Tuesday, Jan 11th. We were promised a refund of $150. I was called on the 17th of Jan and promised that the box would be delivered on Friday, the 18th. I was called again on Friday the 18th and told that the box would be delivered on Sunday, Jan 19th. It didn't show. I called on Saturday and was told that they didn't know where the box was. I was called back and told that the box wasn't delivered to St. Paul yet. Maybe Monday, Jan 10th. I have a customer action file opened on December 31st,, its January 10th there has been no response to my inquiry, there has been no acceptance of responsibility for my Pod being in town since December 17th, and scheduled to be delivered December 30th and not showing up until January 3rd. you charged me the delivery fee December 30th, your customer support acts as though they have better things to do when i call asking about where all my belongings are. This delay caused me more out of pocket expenses for food and delivery because items to cook and eat were in the pod. I had to sleep on the ground because my air mattress was in the pod that was delayed, I am very unhappy with the service received and will be reporting this to the BBB and posting on social media. I scheduled that drop off date for a reason. It is very unfortunate that your customers are not important enough to honor a contractual agreement. There was no weather delay, there was no act of god or any natural disaster preventing my pod from being delivered on time.Nicole P.

When I picked up my truck I was told that it had 3/4 of a tank of gas and that I needed to return it with that much, standard requirement. When I to the storage unit where I was going to load furniture, It was 1/4 mile down Hunt Hwy, I noticed there was slightly less than 1/2 of a tank. I drove a total 14 miles from the U-Haul parking lot to the storage unit, to my home and back. I stopped at a gas station and put $20 in the tank, it moved the gas needle to just less than 3/4 of a tank. When I returned the truck, I explained this to the young man who handled the returns, I even showed him the gas receipt. When I received an e-mail receipt charged to my credit car it had an additional charge of $7.50 for two gallons of gas. So I paid $27 for gas to go 14 miles in one of your small (10') trucks. So either your trucks have the worst gas mileage or I got ripped off. That is why I would not recommend your business to anyone I know looking to rent a truck.KURT K.

The service at the actual store was fine. The issue I have is with the the gas gauge on the truck. The gas gauge was not working and as a result I spent $20 more than I should when putting gas in the truck. I called customer service and they advised me that they could not refund me for the difference. I also have an issue with how rude the customer service representative was being while we were speaking. I'd HIGHLY recommend someone listen to the call and provide coaching to this agent as well as his manager. I would also love a call back regarding the matter of the broken gauge and the over payment of gasolineZACORY I.

the truck had multiple issues with it: 1. a short in the radio area kept causing it to reset, turn itself on and off, the powered outlets worked sometimes 2. steer column was extremely loose, had to shift into D3 then back into D to work. 3. the crack in the windshield is in the line of sight and NOT safe 4. I was trying to move my payment date by a couple of days because my Soc. Security check changed dates I will receive it and I was told I absolutely couldn’t change the date. Furthermore, if I don’t pay by my designated date or within 48 hrs of it, I will be charged a late fee of $25.00. My check would reach me 48hrs after the extend time period. For a senior living on the edge, $25.00 could pay for a lot of prescriptions for me. Screws from the construction of the awning are all over the parking and storage area on the ground. I have had flat tires on my brand new truck. I let someone at the facility know that they need to drag a magnet over the area and I was told that they have the magnet part, but. Nothing to pull it with. Why is that. If they know and agree it is a problem maybe they need to rent one just like customers that don't have trucks or trailers rent one from u-haul. I worry every time I enter the storage area.
