Don't charge an extension on the lease agreement that's $35 and some change when a customer brings it back on time. I paid the $40 for the rental charge then I got charged an additional $35 and some change about an rental lease extension but I had the trailer back on time.Lesa D.

Blankets and hand trucks are placed in truck even tho you do not request them with seals. If seals are broken you pay extra. They are in the way of loading and unloading truck.Jessie H.

Soooo look, everything is ok. The store etc. I was a mechanic so I naturally asked about tire inflation. I was told 65psi nominal, ok then great, recently checked also, super! Arrived home.. hot tires low.... corrected...LOW! highest was 42 lowest was low 20s. Yes I inflated to actual nominal...55psi, MAX pressure is 65psi just saying, your average Joe renter isn't gonna check squat. Thought you might like to know.James H.

The owner of Uhaul was excellent! Very helpful and courteous when I rented the uhaul. Now when I returned it... it was a different story. The lady was rude and did not care at all about customer service. I did not use my allotted 60 miles... so after she told me I would be charged $18 for gas, I told her I didn't use 60 miles â€œthat's not my problem, should have driven it moreâ€Heath H.

Very long wait. Initially only one person on staff and he was slow. When a second arrived progress was only marginally better. Second person was not as knowledgeable related to the software. My receiver hitch insert has two ball sizes. The trailer was connected using the smaller ball. A short drive to meet a friend and it was jerking around badly on smooth pavement and felt like it was about to come off. Returned and had trailer connected to the larger ball. Towed MUCH better.James P.

I dealt with the owner of this location and had a great experience from start to finish. The young man that checked the vehicle back in was friendly, professional and fast. Great experience all the way around!Gregory S.
Obnoxious experience. Had to provide the name and number for someone else (anyone else actually - doesnt matter) for verification of â€œwho knows whatâ€, to protect against people who don't return vehicles. Does UHaul really think that criminals aren't way ahead of you on this game? You don't think they're prepared to provide a second party who is in on whatever scam you're so fearful of that you're willing to place 100% of your customers in a position of distrust? Additionally, I was told if I were pulled over without paperwork, vehicle would be considered stolen, as well. To top it off, was then told I could not park my car in their lot, I had to park in the lot next door, which requires any customer to get back out on the road, park ones car in a smaller lot owned by other businesses, Position ones car awkwardly to get into the spaces, and step across a curb-boundary to get back to the UHaul property . I'm sure this works out fantastic for the elderly, pregnant or disabled and even more so in inclement weather. I was dressed well, reasonably kempt and same for my car. At least we can conclude that the attendant treats everyone with an equal amount of disdain. Doesn't appear to be any prejudice here where this is concerned. If there is some legitimate reason as to why UHaul policies are so obnoxiously different from every other rental option in the Rome area, they'd be well advised around coaching their attendants to deliver information around such policies in a more professional and customer - centric mannerRobert P.

I had and overall positive experience. The only negative would be the attitude of the employee. It seemed like she didn't want to be there. There was one Part of the billing section that asked if I waned to donate to a charity. I was not given the opportunity as she just told me to type no in that section. This is a busy location. To keep things following faster you should have more workers at this location.. It's always a long wait time when you only have 1 worker for such a busy location.. please staff this office to better serve your customer. I wanted a truck from different location. The location was a small mom-and-pop. I could not get a hold of anybody at the location. I called 1-800 number for a rental for the day. They set me up with the shorter avenue location in Rome Georgia, I was told that I had to have the truck back by 3 p.m. . I explained that I wasn't even wanting to rent the truck till 11 and needed it for the day. I was charged $60 extra for an extra day within a day including insurance I want my $60 backSteven W.

I was informed that I could save money if I took it to a certain location. I called the location (Classey Car Wash that I would be dropping it off there. They informed me that it was a 24 hour drop off location. That was convenient although they did no tell me there was a $20 drop off fee. I also read that if you left in in a clean and swept that you would receive a $25 credit. I did clean it up and swept it. I figure that I should be Reimbursed the $20 drop off fee and the $25 cleaning credit. So $45 total. ThanksMichael R.
The unit did have a small leak. We didn't realize it until we started trying to get to some of our stuff. We dried most of it off & put it in different boxes or just brought it home. One item that got damaged but, that we can't really put a price on, is a computer "shipping container/box". So, we just let the facility know so that ithe unit can get repaired.
