Have uhaul on time & more than one person working lady was very rude time of uhaul pick up doors was locked she was angry because i was curious was they open other than service of the uhaul was excellent got this uhaul to help a homeless family out again thanks.Ciera C.
Kym, the owner, was mean and rude from the moment I arrived to pick up the van. The van was dirty on the exterior and interior and didn't match the photos on the check in. Using an app or website for checkin and out is NOT customer service friendly. At night, upon returning the vehicle, the location barcode was not posted where the online instructions said it would be so I was wandering around a dark parking lot around construction debris looking for a tiny barcode that was actually on the front door. Only thing that pissed me off was u haul changed my reservation location and I never got the message. The new location added several miles.. and dollars to my trip. But Kym at the Shorter Rd location in Rome Georgia did an exceptional job of service recovery. Many many kudos to her.Shane P.

Our reservation was for 2pm. We was 45 mins late and lady gave our truck away and then charged us more for another truck the same size as reservation. To say I was highly disappointed is a understatement, especially since we have rented from there so many times. From now on we will use pensive.MICHAEL R.

They told me I could return it after hours with no problem. When I went to pick it up I got there 10 minutes before my rental time and waited for 20 minutes for someone to wait on me. I was then informed I had 45 minutes to return the truck or would be charged a late fee and possibly a penalty. I told them that I had reserved the truck for two hours and never advised of that. He also tried to sell me insurance and when I declined he saidâ€ well ok, good luck. Hope that works out for you.â€ Then when he told me hat if the truck wasn't returned in 45 minutes that I had to check it in online. He said â€œ maybe one of your kids who is more internet savvy than you can help you.â€ Then when I returned the truck 8 minutes after closing I tried to check it in online but your website wouldn't locate me. So I had to get up and drive across town to be there at 7am to return the key. I will NEVER EVER rent from this place again. Poor customer service. Ridiculous rules. I have rented UHAULS multiple times in the last few months bc I lost everything in an apartment fire but this place is the worst business I have ever seenJOANNA U.

Uhaul customer service is soo bad. Really disappointed because of the Calhoun location. I reserved a 26' truck on 23rd April 2022 at Gordon County storage. I went there to pick up my truck but they didn't give me the key even after 1 hour of wait. They were not there even in the working hour. Rome city people were good but the people at Gordon county storage at Calhoun were not responsible for the business.Nikunjkumar P.

got phone call from "central number" the morning it was due to be returned (called at 7:45 in the morning!) asking if I was returning the trailer on time. The trailer was NOT overdue, nor any problems, (I asked) Frankly, I was almost offended by the "tone" of the call. Never had this happen before. FYIMILLARD A.

Well I have a moving company so I usually Uhaul is metro Atlanta but I will never use the Rome location Aaron but roadside assistance which I didn't agree to and I returned the truck on time he didn't tell me about the truck check in return..he never mentioned it $25 total unnecessary charges..MICHEAL M.

Don't tell your customer you granted them extra time if you are just going to turn around and charge an after hour Charge. There's video of me sweeping out the back of the truck at the UHaul facility. Got charged a Cleaning fee too. Really needed that after helping my mom move after a Domestic Relationship Eviction.James G.

It took us a hour and a half to pick up a uhaul, we did the online pickup because the location was closed, and the customer service lady told us the number of a car that wasn't even on the lot. After that we load our stuff up and haul it to storage and when we get there all of our boxes and mattresses were soaked on the bottom because the uhaul had a leak and it was raining. Then when we dropped the uhaul back off the man was EXTREMELY rude. Horrible experience all together.Bill W.

I pulled up to the "Equipment Return" lane. I was pulling a car hauler with a Ford F-350 Crew Cab Long Bed pickup truck. I was shown an area and was told to turn the truck and hauler around. The area was smaller than the turn radius of my truck. I said I couldn't . "Harrison" then said "You'll have to make a bunch of Y turns. I replied that I wasn't going to do that. He then raised his voice saying something along the lines of "Hey bro, why are you giving me a hard time on Thanksgiving?" This ridiculous statement coupled with a ridiculous instruction (to jackknife a car hauler with Y turns) made for a surreal encounter, "Bro."GLEN S.

They went out of their way to get my hitch installed and even went out of their way giving me a courtesy ride home and when the hitch was installed they even picked me up and carried me back to the dealer. Then they showed me how to remount the fascia that covers the hitch when I am not towing.Jim W.

The unit did have a small leak. We didn't realize it until we started trying to get to some of our stuff. We dried most of it off & put it in different boxes or just brought it home. One item that got damaged but, that we can't really put a price on, is a computer "shipping container/box". So, we just let the facility know so that ithe unit can get repaired.
