The customer line and queue always seem disorganized at uhaul locations. Not the best waiting area for a uhaul trailer hitch install, add a keurig, water, and a simple table/chair setup. Staff attended to what I needed. Wasn’t really able to give more details really than what’s asked.
JOSHUA DParking and navigating this site is abysmal and is a major safety hazard. The entrance to the site is a dead end and a blind corner. The exit off the site is a blind corner. High risk of vehicle collision here. The trailer I rented, according to my vehicle, had every single item on it (springs, axle, fluid) overdue for service.

Rayna MRecent experience has been excellent. Very clean site, well-lighted with nice, plentiful carts. Better setup than Public Storage on Derita Road. More carts, longer access hours. Super nice, helpful staff. By contrast, my early experience with UHaul Storage on Boxmeer Drive was dreadful and would have gotten a poor rating. When I first got my units, (two, originally), I kept being assigned units that were full of other people's stuff. It took a week of daily effort to sort that out. Phone wait times for the Central Office used to be horrendous -- routinely exceeding 20 minutes and once taking over 90 minutes. Seriously, by contrast, the quick, cheerful phone help at Central is outstanding now. The website was consistently messed up throughout the years I had a unit there and remains so. It's great for ordering a truck or trailer rental. Not so for anything regarding the storage space rental. Very poor. The main website would never let me pay my storage bill online. For years, the computer could not even find my unit at all and provided no way to pay online. I was never able to log on once to my account in years for a variety of reasons I was told, but mostly the many people I told about this were clueless why the computer gave me special, rotten treatment. I had to pay for storage 100% on the phone through Central. Until recently, even your phone staff at Central had trouble finding my storage account and would look for it for 15 minutes or more until finally locating it each month when I tried to pay. We had to go through this time-consuming hassle every single month until recently, when your phone reps were finally able to quickly and accurately access my account even though, to date, I cannot not do so directly. The people at Boxmeer Drive in Charlotte have NEVER answered their phone directly. Too busy, I guess. I think I got through directly exactly once in years of trying. I called at all hours, due the aforementioned computer and billing problems. You have thankfully gotten rid of the unbelievably obnoxious, incompetent manager you once had long ago when I first rented. You also had one lower-level, dishonest employee who also thankfully appears to be gone. The stories regarding those two people are well documented in my many early interactions at all levels, even higher-ups at Central. My access card at the site does not work there, but this is no problem because the doors beside the main office open during access hours without needing the card. This made things much easier and quicker, though I am amazed I did not see any sign of attempted thievery. I always felt safe there, though this part of Charlotte is anything but. Most recently, Sue at Boxmeer was super helpful and attentive. Very impressive. Reward her and keep an eye on her for promotion.

Tawanna HLocation is in a high traffic area, but very easy to drop off and be on your way. There was no paperwork involved, literally drop it off and give them the keys.
HENRY HThe number one thing I will miss about the property, are the covered loading areas. Definitely a bonus. I noticed a number of improvements, floor sealing and repairs to the bumps in some hallways, nice. I travel a lot and often do not have the luxury of planning my arrival to the property within access hours. I’m in sales and need access to larger samples frequently. In that neighborhood, I 100% agree with the necessity for security. Having to move larger, heavier awkward objects through that one small door before 5pm on Sundays at 7pm during the week, made my experience difficult at times. In the end, the late hour access and the neighborhood in general made for the decision to look elsewhere. At a high level, I enjoy UHaul products and will continue to use them.

SCOTT BI had my belongings in storage for 6 months. Didn't have problems with this location other than the price going up after a couple months and when I finally got my belongings out of storage, I had roaches and spiders in my things. I didn't have a bug problem before putting my stuff into this storage. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got to access my storage anytime I needed. Uhaul is always convenient because when you need to move the uhaul trucks are right there to help you with your move. Also it is more affordable than some other storage units at different businesses. I have been using haul services almost my whole adult life whenever I need it and I'm 35. Other than the bug problem, I would recommend.

JONATHAN AYou need to seriously rephrase the first question in this survey by substituting something else for the word "location" with a more specific term. The franchise is run very well, the building is well kept, the trucks are okay but somewhat dated. Customer service is very good. However, the physical location of this site is oddly placed in a creepy dead end by the interstate and quite unattractive at first glace. My second trip was less off-putting. Thanks.

My only complaint when I got there to put my furnishings in the unit for which I had reserved it was already occupied but the staff on duty did not know it. The movers and I had to wait several hours for the people working to figure out what to do. They made several phone calls and other attempts to fixed the situation which to a long time. Hopefully this was a learning experience for management to check and make sure the units are available before reserving them.

WADE F | Overall ExperienceThe facility location the staff on duty was excellent. There was a problem with the availability of the storage unit in my contract which I was assigned. It was already occupied by another client. After several hours of trying to find me another unit we were finally able for the movers to unload the truck. The inconvenient the movers experience was worst than what I experience. They had driven approximately 2hrs to unload but had to wait another two or more hours to unload the furniture into the units. They had planned to be away from their home around 4 hours which ended up being 6 or 7 hours. In my opinion management should has check before the arrival of clients to make sure everything on the contract was set and ready. It was Father's day and the movers want to get home to spend time with his children I am sure.

I reserved my truck on 4/26/2024 for pick up on 6/1/2024 to ensure that it would be available for me on the date scheduled. I received a text message on 5/30(2 days prior) with a different pick up location, which was an inconvenience because I also was renting a storage unit at the location where I was originally picking up the truck from. And on top of that UHAUL has charged me for going over on mileage when my original pick up and drop location was covered for the mileage needed. I was told that this matter was sent to management and I would hear something within 3 business days. Tomorrow makes a week and no one has contacted me. UHAUL DROPPED THE BALL on this one.

I saw the cleaning guy using two of your hand trucks/accessories I thought this was supposed to be for the customers not the cleaning guy who is moving people stuff out for people who are late. I asked him can I get one and he said no. I had to walk all my things out took me a lot longer and took most of my energy. I am a woman with disc damage he was a man ..smh

There was also a lock on my unit preventing me from putting anything in storage outside of office hours.
