When I rented the truck, I had to go find the truck on their parking lot. When I returned the truck 0at first I had It parked in the wrong area. Instead of just saying ok, the employee ( Barbara) told me to move it to the proper space. Then I was supposed to wait for the check in guy to approve the truck. Barbara knew the check in guy was busy and left me sitting in the truck waiting. After 5-10 minutes she finally came out and told me I was ok to go. I felt there was a total lack of customer service.

The equipment is well-maintained, Top. I live in Round Rock at la Frontera and im close to 3 locations (one at I35, the 3 points location in Pflugerville and the Round Rock Av.) but i prefere to pay toll to go to this location for peace in my mind. I highly recommend. Thank you

David HEasy pick up and drop off routine. Clean and full gas tank. My husband is a mechanic and noticed there was an oil leak the morning after we picked up the truck. We had already loaded it with all of our daughter’s college boxes so he fixed it himself. We let the shop know about it as we dropped the truck off. This had nothing to do with the shop itself but I felt that if I mentioned it they could show it to whoever is in charge of the truck maintenance.

William NI have rented a trailer out of this place quite regularly. Never had a major issue. Staff is friendly. Always there to help out with loading and unloading -- and in scorching heat i.e. This is my go to place.

BRET RThe manager failed to inform that the truck I was renting had it's windshield damaged and replaced. The problem was when I turned on the AC hundreds of small glass shards sprayed across the dashboard and some onto me. Apparently whomever replaced the windshield didn't do a good enough clean up job of the debris. I'm going to be doing a seriously thorough top to bottom inspection next time I rent.

Juan CI had a very bad experience dealing with staff at steeds crossing location, it was contrasting to what the staff was at Santa clara location. Considering the smoothness at source I believed the U-haul is exceptional but this is not true and it actually depend on the CSR’s at the location. At final I regretted my decision and would better gone with PODS although costs slightly higher but they assured the peace of mind and guranteed delivery at door for committed date. I would definitely not recommened U-haul among family and friends.

ADAM DUhaul in Phlugerville @ Steeds Crossing went above and beyond to help ease my worries about my truck size fitting everything by giving me additional options, even though I picked a truck up at another location. ( It ended up fitting 1st time). I drove here because I needed an additional 1 dozen moving pads and the original location did not have them. Steven was very professional and helpful and took as much time as I needed to feel comfortable(since we were making a One-Way move) even though other people were in line. This location is clean and the staff(Steven) is outstanding!!!

Had MGreet customers with enthusiasm. The GM who was seated at the computer was very monotone andvery transactional. This was the first time I had rented a truck and wasn't sure what to expect. Some places ask, have you rented from us, if not let's go over a few things. I get it you do this everyday but even other retail employees have better attitudes. Treat others how you want to be treated. I saw an interaction with some customers that had a language barrier & the customers had some questions and the staff was very rude & condensing to them.

Rodger AI would review the app for handling exceptions to a normal return. The app existed during the return process while taking pictures. I was unable to renter the app return process where I left off. The app report that the return link was now invalid. I was not able to complete the return and had to just leave the trailer.

david r | First ImpressionsThe “check-in” process for unit access could’ve been explained more clearly. Originally, I was just typing my code into the keypad closest to the door to no avail. An employee tried to get in with his code, but it didn’t work and he just left me hanging (because he was “off the clock”). I eventually figured out that I had to “check-in” at the special “check-in/check-out” keypad before inputting my number. I also didn’t know that we wouldn’t have access to the sliding door after hours.

CHRISTINE L | Overall ExperienceA horrible experience. Unfortunately forced to be there over 3 years during a new home build. Unit burglarized shortly after move in. Staff did not offer insurance at sign up and we thought we had coverage. Thousands of dollars of valuable collectible guitars and long guns. I was told afterwards by a staff person it was an inside job and if you are seen putting in instrument and gun cases you were a target. The manager was sleeping in her house a few feet from our unit during the burglary - she told me she heard the alarm but just went back to sleep !!!!! The detective told me they stole a truck to use and knew all the codes. Extremely upsetting as our grandmothers valuable guitar was just one loss and irreplaceable. The staff could care less at the time / no phone call - nothing. Then to add insult to injury when we came almost 4years later to move out we saw that a long standing roof leak and damaged much of our goods in the back of the unit. Since our whole 3209 sq ft house contents was in the unit we could not see this damage until we began to move out. Again no concern or call from the staff - but they did call a roof repair immediately. (Why was roof not inspected over the years?). Barbara told me we should have inspected the unit - this was never mentioned when we signed up. A bad experience and definitely would never use again or recommend to friends or family.

Quinten P | Overall ExperienceThe lights inside are motion controlled (my unit was in the original section) and they would not stay on…by the time I walked back to my unit from the sensor, the lights would shut off: I had to use my phone light and/or a flashlight when working in my unit. I mentioned it to the front desk when I discovered it, but it was not corrected by the time I moved out. Staff was always very helpful and I had ni issues with the safety of my items. (I had my unit for many years.)

Even the general manager is rude when bringing concerns to his attention,and tell you that you're lying and that he doesn't believe you and believe the staff. The staff members tell you something then act like they never told you.The whole staff needs to be fired and replaced. Don't recommend wouldn't send anyone here. Most of the time they have the sliding doors locked and you're having to pull your stuff out of a single door.The hallways are dirty and not cleaned along with the moving carts being filthy. Staff access your storage and then throw the things away.This was the worse experience ever. DONT GO HERE
