Barely had storage at this facility for 3 months and I got robbed. The manager told me there’s no active cameras in the hallways. I found out through other employees on staff the person who stole over $6,000 worth of my possessions and my identity is a repeat offender at the facility and they still shocking haven’t been evicted from the property (the thief of the facility has a storage unit at the same facility). Other tenants renting a unit stayed after hours and let the thieves in whole robbed me. Management noticed word locks are the common pattern with all robberies on the property and hasn’t stopped selling them to people. Management also hasn’t wanted anyone about the cameras not working in the halls or about the many thefts occurring on the property. My life and my things aren’t a joke and I haul has shown to be the most unsafe place to store my things. Truly unforgivable and the experience was so bad I will never forget it and I will always tell people to avoid uhaul for storage. How uhaul let this go on for so long without property addressing this awful situation is probably highly illegal and I’m seeking legal consultation after it’s become abundantly clear uhaul wasn’t doing their job to keep the entire facility secure. This facility is a hot bed of criminal activity and you all have the audacity not to keep it secure??? That’s a lawsuit no matter what your policy is. I reserved a trailer online. When I went to pick it up everything went great. I ended up needing to keep it an extra day. All I had to do was call and there was no problem. I have rented from the Sunrise location several times and dealt with probably everyone who works there and they have all been very helpful. It's a great place for all your rental needs. The only thing that would make it better for me is if they started renting dump trailers.Brian D.

Having your employees use their personal phones to take pictures of my drivers licenses and to return the equipment is wrong and very ineffective! The whole check in and check out process was horrible and too way to long because of poor computer systems. Our experience was great. Our movers unexpectedly canceled the morning of the move, (crew exposed/had CoVid) but offered another crew later in the day. I called in a panic, spoke with James. He said no one was scheduled for the afternoon time slot- so he moved the reservation, was polite, and said â€œglad we could help, hope you day will go smoothly.â€ When we picked up the truck, Adam helped us and was polite and friendly - even on the phone when he had to put a caller on hold.SCOTT B.

I rented a trailer one way. I had problems with my truck and was having a hard time returning the trailer. I called and talked to James. He was very helpful tried to find a better location for me to return to but with my truck problems that did not help. He ended up coming to pick up the trailer from me and returned it for me. He was very helpful and made my already stressful day a little better. When he showed up to get the trailer I tag sled him and he said no problem. The vehicle had stolen items and they did not offer to substitute equipment. In addition when I checked out they said the tank was fill-it was not meaining I gave them about $30 in free fuel, and then they charged me about twice the number of miles I actually drove.CHRISTIAN S.

The manager at your Sunrise/Roseville location went out of his way to find a cabinet latch, that fell down the elevator shaft, for me. Made me very happy. One tip. Signs on top of the Roseville-Gateway monument signs on the two cross streets and the entry driveway at this location. 10 minutes prior to picking up truck at Wills Rd U-Haul, we get a call that our reserved truck not available and we had to go to different location--Sunrise U-Haul. All online check-in tasks previously done had to now be done in person. Went out to to start truck on the lot and SUPER LOUD! Catalytic converter had been stolen previously. Went back inside and was told that's all they had in that size. OK to drive and if we get a ticket for excessive noise, U-Haul would reimburse. What?! Wasn't doing that. The catalytic converter was stolen and was told to take it or leave it. It was a major inconvenience and my ears are still ringing. To not be given anything for Compensation is not taking care of the customer. To not absorb the quarter of a tank of gas is not asking for much considering. And calling to say ahead of time is not insulting nor did I say anything in a insulting manner. I have rented ur trucks forever for personal and business and can't believe that this is the way I'm taken care of. I will be making bad reviews and making sure I vocalize my experience and dissatisfaction. I will never use a U-Haul rental or anything related ever again. I'm extremely let down by this experience and rarely do reviews. But I'm so bothered by this And was left with no choice in the matter. It's truly unbelievable that in this day and chaos that we are all experiencing and it's my experience with U-Haul that I'm left with utter frustration and disappointment. This has been massive let down and very unfortunate. I'm sorry for my rant but hopefully this will help avoid and change policies for future U-Haul renters from having to go thru what I haveBRANDON Y.

Well I did a online order which ended up being a disaster there wasn't what I ordered there only half but the general manager I believe Jesse was outstanding in his quick responses and the way that he handled the situation and hand with my short schedule I recommend this location to anyone again the GM Jessie was absolutely positively outstanding I could not have gotten better service anywhere I think he was very professional and handle the situation quickly I do recommend U-Haul because of him I do think that the online ordering department needs to be looked at a lot more closely thank you Kyle StoneKYLE S.

The interior of the van was clean but the outside was filthy. It was covered in tree sap and the back windows were almost opaque with filth. The shocks were shot. Whenever there was a bump in the road the van bounced as if on a trampoline. On the freeway the van felt as if it were sliding on ice. The reason I wouldn’t recommend is I had reserved a unit online, got confirmation and the reservation couldn’t be found. So I’m not paying money for a bigger unit because I was there with my stuff and needed to store. It’s a Saturday and of course it’s going to be very busy but there was not enough staff on to help people. It was a very long wait. Your staff was very pleasant and helpful but very over worked which is U hauls fault, not the staffs fault. They were trying to do both uhaul trucks and storage. It was a lot for them! The other reason for the low rating is your co Outer system is slow and and accurate. I was told it was better to pay my bills in person because of glitches many times payment doesn’t get recorded. The unit I reserved was not available when I got to the facility. There was 2 people working but only one was handling customers. The other was working on the computer, she could have easily helped given the person in front of me took 20 min to rent a truck and that was just the time after I got there.
