I had originally book this truck through the Waco Dr. location. I received a call less then 3p minutes before pickup that the person in front of us would be late so we would have to push our start time back 45 minutes. While driving to the Waco Dr. location as directed at 7:45 we receive another call the the truck is not back. They moved our location to Woodway which is at least 10 miles more on the truck and were told that they could not do anything about it! This was totally unacceptable!!!!! I rent trucks regularly from y’all. The gentleman at the Central TX location said he would try and make it right since I was blown off at the other location. He did a great job in making us feel more taken care of. We do not appreciate the truck being moved to another location that was totally out of our way at!

The lady mislead me I paid cash instead of card told the lady I was going to ATM to get money she said OK ill help this gentleman till you get back came back she said oh it's $305 What I went got cash she said oh I'm sorry no cash is more debit card is less so reacted truck return truck at drop off location stayed at place for over an hour trying to get refund uhaul place said they are new they don't do cash back only card asked if I had a card gave man my card he on phone with one of the Reps after an hour say I have to drive all the way to Arlington Tx to get cash refund after he asked if I had a debit card would refund money to card bad business will never again rent uhaul bad business woman from jump I had rented uhaul twice before this time no problem but this time was hell after I gas up truck then had to drive 25miles to drop off at another location just to cash back very upset and I was late for work

Truck performed great. The knob gear shifter gave me a little issue once but I just turned the truck off and on and it was fine. The lady in the office was great to work with and helped me to get on the road quickly.

Make sure trucks are safe and road worthy. I had to bring a truck back as soon as I picked it up due to non working wipers during rain and was charged $10 for 2 gallons of gas and $9 for 7 miles on the truck...for a truck I did not get use of. I also was charged twice for the $5 Safe Trip by getting it charged on 2 invoices that had to be made to correct the first returned truck. Basically I was over charged about $24 due to getting a faulty truck to start with due to fees.

I reserved my boxes online, so Waco store had nothing to do with recommending anything. The gentleman I spoke to at the Waco store to schedule delivery was extremely helpful and polite. He kept in constant contact with me. He even called me because he had a feeling the driver did not when my delivery was rescheduled to the next day, and he was right. My delivery was scheduled for Friday, we waited all day, never received any info until the gentleman from the Waco store called to tell me it was rescheduled and the driver should have called. Then it was scheduled for a delivery window the next day, we waited and it was a full hour late. Pick up was seem less. Drivers were really nice both times. Everything arrived just like we packed it and the boxes were in the same shape-perfect. This process was so easy. I would use it again. I called the local stores directly and used the online services to set up the service, so I didn’t deal with anyone at the 1-800 number. I was confused that the quote I received did NOT include delivery of the boxes at the receiving end.

She was a delight to speak to andcI observed her coaching sone new employees on how to provide great customer service. I have always had smooth transactions at this location. They don't try to trick you or upsell you on things . They just get you what you need and get you on your way.

My reservation for pick up was made to pick up at a location closed to my home but at the time to pick up U-Haul moved my pickup location. At the time of drop off I dropped of on the original location. I received a call from a lady where the truck was picked up with a little “attitude” who told me I dropped it of at the wrong location and while I was explaining what happened she abruptly interrupted and just placed me on hold for a min to then take me of hold to only say thank you and hanged up on me without explaining what was happening. Very rude in my opinion and lacked professionalism.

I was not aware the facility was not 24/7 access. When I purchased the unit, there was no option for me to buy the limited access which made my move in experience worse. I was moving from DFW so by the time we were back in Waco it was an hour before closing time. Providing the option to buy the limited access or making it known when you purchase is very important.

The employees are very rude, I turned my truck in shortly after 12 but they did not process until 1 making it "late". We filled up the tank to where it was when we got right before going to drop it off and they put that it was way below. When we called to ask them why we were being charged an extra $83 they said they were busy and would call back very rudely. The place we picked up from was so wonderful so we were expecting the same experience but it was far from it. I assumed they would do a walk around the truck with me and have me sign to bring the truck back but they just wanted the keys and wanted us to leave.

The employee was distracted and gave me a truck that was blocked in. The seat was broken and completely tipping to the left, which made my four hour trip very uncomfortable, at one point I couldn’t turn the trunk on, but eventually it started working. I paid of blankets, I was never given them. Not a good experience at all!

During the rental process the clerk and his little girlfriend kept playing around saying "shut the fuck up. The clerk boy kept telling the girl this all throughout the time I was trying to check out. While I had the uhal the manager Amy continously harassed me with phone calls and threatening messages.( I have the message on my VM) she would call from her cell to avoid being recorded. Overall it was a terrible experience with this location. No one was professional, and the manager Amy is a joke.

There was a small dent in the passenger fender when we rented. Not a big deal for me but I did submit pictures upon return. Can was pretty clean. Smelled a little sour in there but again, it's a moving truck.

Two young employees (male & female) were very unprofessional, and kept joking around with each other, male employee saying things like "shut your @ss up." The male was especially impolite, and seemed like he did not want to be there. There was some confusion about load capacity, as I was towing a rather large trailer behind my truck for equipment distribution. The male employee was unwilling to attach the trailer because the system was showing 'not recommended' even though it was empty and didn't even have the box. Had to call distribution to clear it up and get the trailer. The truck had some Doritos on the cabin floor, and smelled pretty bad. The tank was 3/4 when I initially got in the truck, although I was told that it was full. Took additional time to clear that. Finally, I had to walk for like 5 minutes to the next lot because they didn't have the truck ready.

I have had issues using the app for returns. The app Shuts down during the picture taking portion and does not allow you to complete the process or makes you start over. We rent trailer regularly and this has happened multiple times.

The staff at this location are horrible and the most unprofessional I have ever worked with or experienced. I spent over an hour waiting on them to pick up a transport, as they were not capable of figuring out their computer system. Ultimately soneone remoted into their systwm and completed the transaction so that I could be on my way. More surprising was the attitude of the employees, and the comments they were making about their manager and others within the organization. They were critical, negative and vulgar; and the fact that they were making such statements to, and in front of, customers was simply shocking. I would blnever recommend this location to anyone to use.

Complaint Regarding U-Haul Reservation and Additional Charges Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent truck rental experience. When I arrived to pick up my reserved truck and appliance dolly, I was informed that there was no dolly available at the location. I was directed to another location to obtain the dolly, which required additional driving and use of fuel. This inconvenience occurred despite making the reservation more than a week in advance. Upon returning the truck, I was charged for being two gallons short on fuel. This charge did not take into account the extra fuel I had to use due to the need to drive to a different location to pick up the dolly. Given these issues, I find it hard to recommend U-Haul to others. The experience has been frustrating and felt unfair. I hope that U-Haul will consider improving its reservation system and customer service to avoid similar issues in the future.

Little disappointed in the truck. The windshield was taped all the way around. I asked for a different one and he claimed they were all spoken for. It was just retuned that way was the answer I got. I had to wear ear plugs from Waco to Austin as it was so loud. Sadly, on the Austin end they didn’t seem to care either. I expect more from company like U-Haul.

I was sent the wrong U-Box. They could not find my U-Box for a long period of time. When they finally found it, they could not ship it until the next day. I was charged for both the shipment of the wrong U-Box and my actual U-Box. I was met with a lot of resistance when requesting a refund. When I finally got my refund, they refunded me for the cheaper, and incorrect, shipment. I wish I received a refund for the proper U-Box and some sort of compensation for their negligence.

It took me 2 hours to rent the vehicle even though I had a reservation. I had to drive to another location to get another truck. Poorest customer experience I have ever encountered. This was my second time renting a unit from this location. The first experience was good. My reasoning for returning. This second time however was the worst customer service EVER! From day 1… it was awful. The day I came in, system was down. I didn’t have access to my unit for two or three days. When I signed up, I made my payments “auto pay” and I guess because system was down, it didn’t program it. A month later I get notified I was late in payment. So I went in to investigate. The “manager” was so rude! She acted as if I was making up the story about the system being down. Yesterday 06/04/24 my husband couldn’t get into the unit again. So I went in to the office to see what was going on and the young gentleman working said I had access but that the alarm would go off. Who wants an alarm going off while taking things out? also asked if he could check my auto payment status because of the issue we had the previous month…he didn’t seem acknowledgeable, he took forever to print invoices and when they were printed, it was printed in a different format. I started to share that this was my second time renting with them and how I satisfied I was and his reply was “well, if you made payments on time you wouldn’t have this issue!” I was livid! He obviously didn’t hear a thing I said about having the problem with system from the very beginning. I paid the entire month of June and most likely won’t even get the prorate reimbursement. I moved my belongings and I will never rent U-Haul EVER AGAIN! I will rent from Home Depot, or car rental before I rent a vehicle here.

Viki Bryant has horrible customer service skills. After waiting for her, I called to inform her we were at the front door. She pulls up,without acknowledging us and enters the side door. We were left standing outside until I realized she was sitting at the desk. I completed everything online,she states I did not. Then we re-do EVERYTHING. Such a waste of time. When I look at the finalized receipt, it has ALL the information from my original online reservation. Viki really enjoyed hearing herself talk. I rented the storage on 3/3,with a free 1st month. Then on 3/6,Viki sends me a delinquent invoice! This is a terrible situation.

The access to storage has 2 doors, one is a regular door and the other is a sliding glass door. The sliding glass is the best way to move in large items. Glass door was always locked when we were there. Made it difficult to move large amounts of stuff.

I rented this Storage shed on line. I read all the instructions about manually, entering my code, and getting into the building. The only problem is is that I was not told that there is one keypad for deactivating my unit and one for getting in at night. Once I met with an employee of the storage facility, they explained this to me and told me that there is also a credit type card that I can use to swipe to check in and out. Had this been told to me or explained before I started my move. It would’ve been a lot less confusing and easier. Other than this small glitch, it has been a wonderful process, and I am very happy with the place and it’s employees. They are great.

When I first moved in they gave me 2 storage units even though I ordered 1. Cost me an hour of moving in time with movers. When I moved out the truck that I reserved was at another place. When I canceled my move out online they only canceled 1 unit not both even though I canceled at the exact same time... I have had terrible experience with U haul at several different places over last few years. I'll never use again

After 18 months of being a perfect customer, I wasn't reimbursed/refunded for 1/2 of a month unused payment. I have used several other companies for storage facilities and have always been refunded for the unused portion of the last months rent.

I enjoyed arriving at facility to find storage shed ready to move in. My storage shed came with free lock with move in for one way vehicle rental. My advice in the future let customer know where to get lock from on the reservation I standed in line to get lock and was told when I got to counter that lock was already in storage shed would have saved me 10-15 minutes other than that I enjoyed the experience

I moved all of my items out Saturday and Sunday of November 27th as I unpacked I noticed a few of my things have came up missing no one should have been in my storage my unit was 309 I discussed it with my husband and I called Monday evening to try to connect with somebody but I did tell the representative I did get in contact with what had happened and I was told to go up there the next day and let you guys know what happened someone went in my storage and took a few things I know what I brought and I've been paying you guys for a whole year to keep my items safe and a lot of my stuff came up missing so no I would not recommend you guys to anyone thanks hopefully I can get this resolved when I visit U-Haul tomorrow

When we initially moved in the unit they gave us was unavailable they then had to put us into units on the inside upstairs. When I went to go get in my storage unit the system still showed me in the one complete unit at the bottom outside so it was one headache after the other I was told that the staff member that originally checked us in was fired so it was just a mess the whole way but now everything is fine and we still use the facility. I just believe the process was ridiculous and half of the staff had no idea what they were doing but the general manager fixed everything so now everything is correct in the computer after 2 months

I reserved a 10 × 20 but had to move into 2 separately units that were on oppositesidesof complex.. This caused my move to go over by an hour which ended up costing me an additional 400 dollars because the movers Were hourly. Horrible moving experience
