darleen wonly minor complaint is I had emptied containers early and called to request earlier pick up of empty pods and was told no drivers available. When driver arrived on original scheduled date I was told that they were available on the earlier days that I have requested. Otherwise service was 5 stars

justin v | First ImpressionsI used u-haul Ubox. Worst moving experience of my life. Was supposed to ship the box from Ohio to Rhode Island. My family and I drove to Rhode Island, the night before the box was guaranteed to be delivered, they called to tell me it was delayed but was still expected within 24 hours. The next day I had to call U-haul representatives 6 different times, they all couldn’t tell me anything and kept transferring me to other people who still couldn’t give me answers. Finally someone admits that in the notes it says they miss shipped it to California. Still no one could tell me for sure and no one knew when I would receive it. They said the note was made days ago, I was never notified or I wouldn’t have driven 10+ hours, have family move schedules around, and pay for hotels. I kept calling them every day for the past week with the same routine, no one could give me answers and the answers I was given contradicted everything the next person told me. I ended up having to pay almost $600 on the essentials (air mattress, sheets, etc) just to live in my empty apartment. The box finally arrives in Rhode Island, I have to hire movers to move everything because my family couldn’t stay and wait around. U-haul gave the movers the wrong box. The movers had to drive it 40 minutes back to the facility to switch it out and then finally be able to unload it. Do yourself a favor and go with a different company for drive the truck yourself. I will never use u-haul again and I will be telling everyone I know to do the same.

Peter HSandi. the manager is very helpful and knowledgeable. We availed ourselves of the packing supplies available for purchase in the office several times. Staff helped bring the supplies to our vehicle each time. Overall this is was a great experience in a high stress time.

Gregory RStaff never came out on return after sitting in return line as instructed by sign. Had to deattach the trailer and manually push it back into spot and used an app. Next time, I’m leaving it right in the return line.

CRAIG CThis was far better than other big box companies out there. The tutorials were great and we did not experience any issues on initial delivery or final delivery. I will recommend -boxes to my military friends who have to do a PPM move for their household goods in the near future! Richard was AWESOME!

SAMANTHA GI've rented a 20' truck 5 times in the last month to move most of my business, 1 truck I got was BRAND new !, the others were great , well maintained. relatively clean, and A/C working great.The only issue I came across was the supplies like dollies and stuff weren't always ready or correct. But U-Haul is probably the best and easiest place to rent a truck! I will definitely use them again!

shirley s | First ImpressionsWe had enough furniture pads because we were able to use some from the 2nd box to wrap up furniture with glass inserts and panels. If we only had 1 box, we would have needed more pads. The Uhaul box delivery employees, both drop off and pickup were very helpful and courteous, and the one in RI suggested a better place to put the box than originally planned. We appreciated his input and knowledge very much.

This resulted in me towing an empty trailer for hundreds of miles to avoid quadrupling the price. That is not the fault of the good folks at U-Haul @ TF Green airport, but it really pissed me off TBH!

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN TRANSFERRING OUR CARGO AND TOOK SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE THAT LOADING AND HITCH ATTACHMENT WAS CORRECT

ANNE MThe Velcro on one of the containers was worn out, so we couldn't keep the container wrapped up in the weather. Overall, I would have liked the containers (mostly the exterior tarps) to be in better condition.
Benjamin DOur U boxes were scheduled to be delivered on June 1st, we were never told that they would be delayed. We had made arrangements for movers to come unload the boxes. But, the boxes did not arrive as planned. I made several phone calls and asked to speak with the manager supervisor and I was told that that would not be possible. The u boxes were delivered on June 2nd late in the day. We had to make alternate arrangements to have movers come empty the boxes. We received a call from ubox. Trying to confirm the return of the boxes on June 3rd. Since they would not be unloaded by that time, we confirmed their pickup date of June 5th. 20 minutes later we received a phone call from ubox telling us that the boxes cannot be picked up for return until June 6th. I asked what time and was told that I would be notified. I subsequently received a text message indicating that the u-boxes would be picked up for return on June 6th between 12:00 midnight and 12:15 a.m.. In short, there were many unplanned lapses in in the delivery and pickup of u boxes. There was also a lack of communication and notice from you box in regard to the delays. I do understand equipment can break down. People can be sick and out of work, what I can't understand is a company providing this service that does not stay a constant communication with customers to advise them as to delays lapses. Finally, the phone system when you call U-Haul or you box is inadequate. I ended up on the phone for 12 minutes. Spoke to a representative in Western North Carolina who transferred me to a representative in Eastern North Carolina who tried to transfer me to a ubox representative. After waiting on the phone listening to music for a lengthy period of time, I was finally given the option of leaving a message rather than speaking with someone as I had hoped I could do. I will never recommend you box to anyone when asked. I will provide this story and I will be happy to recommend people who are moving to pods or any other means or method to have their possessions moved. CARL LUhaul as a whole should have more affordable options especially for short moves. $135 dollars for a few hours is a bit unreasonable. I understand it was a one way but it would've cost even more if I'd have driven it back to original place 20+ miles. Kind of disappointed to not be accommodated for staying under the 30 miles.

Stephanie VI only called to reserve but assume the location reflects the rest of the experience. Boxes were delivered in RI on time. However after the 3 hour delivery window past in FL (11-2), I had to call to inquire as to when I could expect delivery. Boxes arrived about 2 hours later. This gave us less time to unpack before pickup.

Robin T- The car was immaculate but the smell of marijuana was strong in the vehicle. - Brakes squealed when in use or decelerating. - When at rest after park with car off it sounded like something was running around in the dash/hood area. - Oil Change indicator came on in the vehicle once I began driving. - Good working condition. - smooth driving and easy to maneuver. - Bach up camera and pin tight turns were really great to have for an 8’ truck bed. - Would absolutely rent again. - Kim inside at the Post Road location was engaging, helpful and wonderful to work with first thing in the morning. She made everything super simple and her assistance was much appreciated.

Steven CThe U-Haul storage facilities at T.F. Green Airport was a great place to store my belongings while I transitioned from living on the east coast to the west coast. The facility is clean, secure and well lit. The hand trucks and furniture dollies they provide made moving in, and out, super easy. I found them to have the best price for storage in the area.
