This location has the worse customer service standards of any location in several states we've rented from. The manager has his own set of rules and does not care what the needs are of the customer.

The location is understaffed most of the time, and hard to find help. If the APP was working correctly, this would not ben a problem, but it frequently seizes up, stops working, or has bad information. The truck I was renting had 200 more miles on it than the app said it should. And when the clerk checked me out in person, the miles were nt updated, so my bill more than doubled. Had to find another clerk to fix the problem, again. 1. FIX THE APP. 2. HIRE MORE. It always takes longer here than other locations, but you do have more trucks.

The van was not EVEN clean. Almost as if, they just completely forgot that it was even on the lot. The entire online check in was not fast, nor efficient. When I needed assistance there was no one available on-site to help….this was during business hours and there were no other customers. I have come to this location a couple of times recently to pick up supplies and the customer service experience has been very poor. I won't be recommending this location or any others in the future. I will however, tell people to try Budget or Penske.

Uhaul did not handle the reservation very well. I had reserved the truck from 6th - to 9th and since the truck was not available at my desired location, uhaul called me and told me that I could pick the truck up at another location on the 5th and there wouldn't be an extra charge for the extra day, however the pickup location had no record of this agreement, and I spent 15 mins trying to understand the situation. Moving is stressful enough and I didn't expect this from a big moving company like Uhaul. Not good.

Upon arrival, one worker was berating an old lady. They didn't want to accept my rental because of missing equipment (which I never received in the first place). I waited on hold with corporate for 1 hour and the store closed. They accepted my truck eventually, but never told me anything.

Truck rented was very dirty and passenger door mirror was damaged. The bed had garbage in it. I had to take it through a car wash to get windshield clean enough to see through.

To be Honest of how much gas is the mark one thing on paper but when you get inside the truck it's not what in there it's on E. And the mileage not good because 30 miles is to your house and you have did any movement yet

The office was not a welcoming environment. It was unclear where the line began. I paid with cash for a small item and the cashier didn't inform me that they didn't have enough change. I got over $5 in nickels and coins. This was frustrating.

The people that work there are very upbeat and friendly. Moving is stressful so it's nice to have somebody laugh answer all your questions. They were also knowledgeable about the product sold in the store.

It would be fantastic if your system would not allow customers to schedule reservations at location where the trucks are not available. I ended up having to pay extra mileage because the store I selected did not have the truck and U-Haul moved my reservation to an inconvenient location. The store would not reimburse me for the extra miles either. I am also having a hard time obtaining a refund for the 2 mattress covers I did not pick up but had already paid for in advance through the store I initially scheduled my reservation for. It was a bit of a headache. The staff at the store where my reservation was sent to was decent, though.

My customer assistant was a young lady who went out of her way to assist me with the trailer. I explained to her I have 30 years of hooking up trailers yet she took it upon herself to do everything herself and did it right. Also the check out was just as good of and experience by a young man. I was in and out in minutes. Very happy.

Not so much the fault of U-Haul but perhaps a better means of dealing with this situation I encountered. A gentleman entered the store with the intent of renting a truck for a one way trip to Modesto. He hadn't made a reservation and there didn't seem to be a truck available in the size he was requesting. Both the customer and employee remained pleasant throughout the whole exchange as your employee did what he could to help the renter find what he needed at another location while informing him of all the costs associated with his planned rental. This was all well and good aside from the fact that the line of those of us who had reserved a truck and arrived on time grew quite long. My reservation was for 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:20am. I didn't reach the counter until 10:05 am. I was finally leaving in my rental truck at 10:15 am. I don't know how to fix that but if you could I think all your customers would appreciate it. Thanks!

After i rented and put an 80$ deposit, everything was ok til i turned it back in. My customer service rep was GREAT! JAYDENN man. Great customer service. An additional 120 was taken off my bank card and i was ok with that because the total was 201. 2 days later i was charged 119 more for nothing and U HAUL customer service said it was my banks fault when my bank pulled up my history with UHAUL. I would not recommend UHAUL because of my experience.

The inside truck was clean, on the out side Mod stock all over the body. I gave you below average because waiting almost 15 minutes for the counter service personal to come back to the office to get help and for the new system you using to let the customer checking the equipment, and spending and wasting 20 minutes before getting the truck to take picture and submitting them and 20 minutes when returning. Is this declining customer service you proud off.

The U-haul was probably the worst truck that one can get. It was hardly moving. I could not even carry out my move in requirements. Definitely a bitter experience

Everything overall was ok the only thing I don't appreciate that I found a little bit rude the manager that location is telling me that they don't have cash or do short on coins and he's sending me back to bring the exact change and he's telling me to come back later when I have the exact money so that means I need to go around the neighborhood asking for change at the end of money as says there's nothing that I can do for you that means I have to waste my time because the manager says nothing that I can do for you so sad

The alameda Ave location is the best hand down . I have meet other great people at mom and pops locations but overall the alameda Ave is the best Great customer service with no issues like some locations.

Trailer was not ready after waiting for 2 weeks for one that supposedly would be available. Upon changing reservation to flatbed,I was told even though I needed a 1-way, that trailers weren't able to be dropped at point of destination. After several calls, I was then told that for $275-$432 I could drop it off. When pressed for what was the actual price, the manager couldn't answer. This is poor service in anybody's book

Make sure the people at the location know they need to ready for 24/7 pick up. Waited around in parking lot for hours talking to support and had to come back early in the morning the next day for pick up because app wouldn't allow pick up. Terrible experience.

Vehicle inspection prior to renting. My vehicle had a gas leak and barely made it to the gas station to find out after that it sprayed gasoline all over my right leg and pants,socks, shoes ,and gold anklet were damaged. I need someone to contact me regarding this matter ASAP.

They didn't have my rental equipment ready (hand trucks and blankets). When I asked about it, they looked surprised and said they were out of blankets. Seriously?? I already paid for them! The hand truck wheels had a flat side and would just slide across the ground when there was weight in it instead of rolling so it was a waste of money. Also there was trash in the back of the U-Haul that I had to remove. And the truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas which was very annoying.

I rented U-Hauls for my boss I called the day before and they said he could come down with his credit card and that the driver could just pick up the car truck. When the driver got there they would not let him take it and made him provide his own credit card even though we came down the day before.

Don't offer after hours drop off when the U-Haul mobile website and app don't work properly. I wasn't able to drop off my U-Haul at the specified time because both the website and app wouldn't let me complete the drop off process.

Customer service can work on assisting customers with loading rental equipment. Some rental equipment was left outside the truck and the rest was given to the customer to load into the truck. Also, most of the rental equipment that was reserved online was not available due to the fact that it was a one way drop off to a diff location. I was not informed until I arrived for pick up and was unable to make other arrangements to find the items elsewhere.

IN general it was good. The person helping inside was very helpful I am disappointed that the rep did not mention that there is a charge to return the vehicle after hours as I would have just returned it the following morning. The person outside was not very helpful and did not seem to want to help any of the customers.
