Make sure your guys get the rest that need. Don't get me wrong, the customer service was good and the gentleman was kind! But... he forgot the furniture pads so I called customer service. Tuesday I got a voicemail, they said they would reimburse me $20 and when I looked at my CC yesterday after turning in the trailer they still hadn't reimburse me. Then when I took the uhaul trailer back to Austin at the Ben White location I had to prove with the voicemail the San Jose guy left that I didn't steal the blankets. He was also kind but I'm a bit disappointed because I spent a lot of money to make it happen and then to get to the job and not have padding we needed for 13 TVs really made things more difficult and rattled my security that everything would make it to Austin without being damaged. I had to make due with boxes we picked up from another job and it wasn't pretty. But we made it work. I still haven completely checked the TVs for damage because it was a decommission and the TVs are going back to my client. They were working when we left. I'd like to at least get the money I spent on 12 blankets/ furniture pads. Most likely the next time our company needs to rent a trailer we will shop around instead of going straight to Uhaul. Maybe we'll buy one and sell it when we reach our destination. Surely it will cost us less then $609 plus tax. The other $200+ was for pads and the electrical hook up installation. My mileage was over estimated by 200 miles. This was not reimbursed when I turned in the unit a day early and 200 miles short. This really pisses me off as I am on a tight budget and really didn't have the $150 extra to just give away.

I reserved a trailer for Sat in San Jose. When we got the confirmation they were going to send us to Mtn View. We had to cancel. On Saturday were we received a call from UHaul about our reservation. We told them we cancelled but asked if there was a trailer at any san jose location. The woman said there was a trailer at The Alameda location. We decided to reserve it for Sun. When we arrived at Uhaul we were given the wrong trailer. The one we reserved did not work. When we were dropping off the trailer, the employee was staring at his phone and not giving direction while we backed into the return space. I was not pleased with the service I received. No compensation for being given the wrong trailer. I will most likely not rent from U-Haul again.

I was sent an email for one location and when I arrived they said sorry they didn't call me but my truck was somewhere else. So I went to that location and they also said the truck was somewhere else. I ended up taking a smaller truck from that location so I didn't have to drive again to another place. I am disappointed that this was such a hassle.

Have only two people do the customer service register. Not 4 different people touching the money and credit card/debit transactions. Too many cooks spoil the pot. Not everyone should do job function..due to poor people skills. Don't put a square peg in a round hole.It just. Never works to force something that just doesn't fit that mode. They can be utilized much better when they are happy or content. A HAPPY CREW IS A PRODUCTIVE CREW. OVERALL...GREAT SERVICE Though from that whole crew !

I was able to get a truck without any hassle. The selection of vehicles was great. I was able to get a truck in under 10 minutes.
