Wait was long. 30 min +. Paperwork showing the fuel level was off. Paperwork showed 5/8 andcthe gauge read 1/2. I asked the guy checking me out and he said we'd have to go back in the store and change it... I had been there long enough so I said forget it, I will just fill up and pay the difference

Worst experience ever! The truck was not inspected for mechanical issues. The truck was over heating, putting our safety at risk. What should of been a 6 hour trip turned into a 14 hour nightmare! Make sure to inspect and maintain your vehicles/ equipment especially for long trips. I will make sure to share my experience with friends and family and all social media outlets. NEVER AGAIN!!

My truck was due to be returned on 11/26. I called the store where the truck was to be returned on 11/24 at 2:30 PM to confirm when they will close for the day. I was told by a lady they close at 3:30. I reached there at 3:10 after filling the truck with an almost full tank of gas. (I have a receipt to prove that). The person we met at the store was cleaning up and said the store closed at 3 PM. He asked us to park the truck and drop off the keys in the overnight drop off box. The next morning I receive a bill for $28 saying I was 6 gallons short. I spoke to Hector at the San Jose store who was not wiling to believe that I filled up the truck sand said I didn't fill it up to the level when I received the truck. I have opened a dispute for this with customer support. To be honest it's not the $28 that bothers me. What does bother me is that your company is not willing to give the customer a break. It's not like I returned the truck with an empty tank of gas. It was 6 gallons short. Is that really a big deal to send a bill to someone who just finished moving to different city. When was the last time you moved and do you remember how painful the whole process turns out? What is more important to you, a happy customer or making a few bucks more? How many times can you do this to a customer? Have you searched the number of people that have gone through the same process? People have started blogs that say nothing but bad things about UHaul. When will customer satisfaction be your number one priority?

The employee who helped me said that the drop off location was 24 hours. It was not. It closed at 7pm. There was a gate around the facility and no way to leave the truck. I had to come back the next day and pay for a taxi home. (If I had been able to drop it off during the night, I had a friend who could have taken me home.) Please train your employees to give out the correct information. Thank you.

Rented 6 by 12 utility trailer with ramp.Great trailer,The one problem was that those little wheeled dollys would get hung up on the ramp.Small wheels will hang up on any small bump or ledge.Perhaps customers should be told this or a smooth ramp could be offered.Thanks Ken.

I drove 18.6 miles but when I came back I was billed for over 200 miles. I had to work with the staff for around 20 plus mins, to try to get the miles corrected. Can you please make sure you check to have the correct miles on a truck before you rent it out. The truck was nice and clean but coming back and getting billed for over 200 extra miles was not a fun experience.

It would be nice to always have a truck/van available with a FULL TANK of gas......My van only had 1/4 tank which meant a delay in getting started....I then had to "guess" how much gas to put in because I don't want to put too much gas in and if I put in too little gas, I might need to gas up a second time before returning the truck/van. Very much a pain and frustrating.
