When I drop off the truck it was moved and parked without it being check in. So I got a call the next day asking when I was going to turn the truck in.Christopher C.

After I returned you added 20.00 to the ticket and would not pick up the phone to review I don't have time for this I had the unit back same day and still you find a way to charge more than said. Was on the phone for more 30 min waiting for you U HAUL To pick up. You then dropped the call. Refund the 20.00 please. 408-483-3282 . VERY CRAPPYBARRY H.
I could not get a reservation close to where I needed it. Then I received a call late the night before telling me I had to go to a different location, even though I had a confirmed reservation. I asked that she text and email me but never received anything telling me where to go. I had to call the morning of the pickup to find out where to pick up the trailer. That agent was helpful.LAWRENCE C.
No need for improvement great over all customer service.Jesus V.
Even though I understand that we are under pandemic, not having rest rooms for customers was pretty inconvenient.Tim N.
Sometimes picking up the key after mobile checking there is a delayVijay M.
I only need this pick up truck for less than 3 hours. The truck was relatively new and clean in and out. The issue was the lingering smell of smoke. My passenger's eyes watered and coughed at the pungent smell of smoke. Hopefully you can find a solution to this very annoying problem. I hope this helps future customers.Don H.
We understand that demand is high, but having the customer wait until just 24 hours to let them know that they have to go 300 miles to find the actual box they want is pretty silly. Your entire business is based on the premise that people need you to travel, so you can come up with better solutions to move the inventory around and make sure the units exist where they are mostly demanded.TALAL S.
I was very pleased with the service at the San Jose location on The Alameda. I returned my rental an hour late and as a courtesy to me as a return customer they waved the fee. I will definitely be using their services in the near future. ðŸ‘Luana C.

Have more staff available to attend to the returning vehicles. There was quite a line of vehicles. Being returned snd it was a bit confusingJuan C N.
I would recommend friends when you hire more employees. I rented this past weekend and only one person at the counter and one in the yard, and no one answers the phone.Marilyn M.
The only thing a bit weird was the app that was hard to use ... it had trouble deciphering that we were at the uhaul location - returning the trailer.. (attempting to use it multiple times & then had to just call the 1-800 number)Jill C.
We opted for a CONTACTLESS pickup. Credit card and Driver's License inforamtion was provided at the time of the booking, several days before the reservation date. The driver was STILL required to go into the rental office and give an entire different payment form. This is unacceptable, and if you do not offer contactless pickup, with payment form on the reservation DON'T OFFER IT. We will likely take our business elsewhere.Josue A.
I was given a vehicle that had no gas. The location told me the truck had 1/4 tank. I took off, within 3.2 miles I was left stranded in the freeway with a dead truck. Called customer service they told me this is NORMAL, and if I needed roadside assistance I would have to pay $99 + $10/gallon of fuel they give me. NORMAL, a 26 foot uhaul only gets 12 miles to tank?! That's what I was being told. 1/4 tank driving 3 miles and running out is NORMAL. I explained to the rep that highway patrol had to assist me and push me off the freeway with his bumper and upon inspection he found the gas cap off so it seemed the gas was siphoned. But no, that's NORMAL. When it came time to return the truck, I was told by the rep there at the location that there is a text message I receive with a link to follow before I take off where I approve the mileage, gas and condition. 1- never received the message and 2 - was never even told I would be receiving a message. If i had been told I could have at least been anticipating the message, but I wasn't. I was handed the keys and told “vehicle is over there†that's it! I understand with COVID things are a little different so there is not much contact between ourselves and the representatives so I assumed this was the new routine. Sign paperwork and go, so I wasn't walked to the vehicle nor explained anything, I figured that's normal. The best part , though, so I'm returning the truck and after he basically told me “your fault should have checked your texts†the rep acknowledged by saying “there are a lot of homeless in the area and we've had issues with them coming in and stealing the gas from our vehiclesâ€. So no, UHAUL the situation I was left in was NOT NORMAL. A 26 foot uhaul tuning outta gas in 3.2 miles when it supposedly has 1/4 tank, in no world is NORMAL. So I should have been provided roadside assistance at no cost to me, but they were just playing the damn blame game and left me to fend for myself. I mean they already got their money, right? This entire dilema may have been handled better if the phone number on my receipt put me through to the location I picked up from, but it goes to some corporate office and they have no idea who I was. I had to wait 30 minutes for the woman to call me back to tell me “roadside assistance was not approved you need to pay for services†and if I had agreed to pay roadside would take up to another 2 hours to get to me. I intended to pick up the truck around 12, but after this entire fiasco I didn't get home until 5pm. I waited an hour to get pushed off the freeway, spent 3 hours trying to get some help from uhaul customer service/roadside. Then spent another 2 hours getting picked up by a friend, going to buy my own gas can, and making multiple trips back and forth to give this stupid thing enough fuel to even ignite the engine. Which turned out to be around 10 gallons of gas. Long story short, do not rent from this location unless you want a vehicle to leave you stranded on the side of the road with no help, you won't even have enough fuel to get yourself to the nearest gas station due to homeless people stealing it. But again, that'll be your fault for not checking. :)Ofelia T.
Too expensive, the quote I received online was no where near the actual price of the rental plus mileage smhAllison H.
