Lady was on the phone and had nothing to say except your all set after I stood there to return equipment. To me that is horrible customer service. I was also charged for the safety insurance after I declined and was told she would have someone refund me. I opted into 40 miles and used 10. Nothing showed difference. We paid for and rented a unit for movers to put our items into. Whem movers arrived with truck full of our stuff, the unit we were assigned was full with someone else's stuff. It then took nearly 1.5 hours for the employee to find another unit for my stuff , which cost me more money for the movers. In most respects it was positive wit one major exception. I was told at pickup that the van had a full tank of gas (the gauge was at full )and I should return it with a full tank. During my rental I drove 35 miles but stopped to get gas and return with a full tank. I put in 5 gallons and it was still not full! this cost me $15.16. I think it is obvious that the tank was not full at pickup, yet when I asked for an adjustment to my charge it was denied. I feel this was very unfair and deceptiveTHOMAS H.

There should be more specs on all the trailers and cargo trailers (specfically the coupler's height) so that customers can measure their hitch and do the math to figure out the rise/drop they need on their ball mount. I couldn't find that info anywhere and the staffs have no idea so I just guess-timated with a low rise ball mount and luckily it worked. But it would be nice to have such info so we know how high/low we need to buy a ball mount.MINH QUANG L.

We had great service, this location is clean, well maintained and very accessible. Unfortunately the van we rented smelled horrible inside because the previous driver smoked the the van. The van was newer with only 10k miles and drove well but the smell was awful. Nothing UHaul could do to prevent people from smoking inside, it's just a shame that people are not more responsible and considerate of others.RANDOL M.

I was originally to pick up 4 miles from my house. Pick up location changed 2 x. Each time farther and farther away. ended up 55minutes away. I did get compensated but not my time. I did reserve a month before which should have been there for me.GEORGE N.

Teach your staff how to properly read and log odometers. I was given a truck and the odometer was at 657 when I got into it at the U-haul location. I recorded it before leaving. Well the reading listed on the rental agreement was recorded as 637. Adding 20 miles to the amount I was expected to pay. The staff member who checked me in when I returned gave me a discount for the disputed 20 miles. This is not the first time I have had this issue at a U-haul facilityFRANK L.

There was no consistency in the way my reservatins were handled. I recived a call my unit was being given away becuase there was a customer waiting on 7/12 and I wasn't coming until 7/14. I scrambled to find anothyer facilioty. Then wqhen I arrived the unit had been secured . SO i had to cancel at other location. Big headaches!Debra S.
I had a 2:00 reservation, got there at 1:50 and didn't leave the lot until 3. There were only two people ahead of me in line but for some reason it took about 45 minutes to help them. I rented a truck and trailer and at first I got a truck with no hitch receiver, then there was no ball for the other truck. Got a ball and the pin wasn't long enough. And the truck smelled like someone was smoking in it. In the end, I got the job done but it felt very inefficient.Craig R.

I originally tried to book a trailer near me, but uhaul called me back on Friday night to tell me none were available except in â€œMayfield.â€ I thought they meant the city, not Mayfield Rd in Cleveland. We changed again to Bedford, but there has to have been other options closer to Willowick than that! Anyway, the workers in Bedford were the best, especially to the young lady that checked me back in. She met me in the parking lot before I even parked my vehicle. Great service!ALLEN P.

The movers that you do business with (Rell Quality Movers) were the worst. They showed up and didn't start working until an hour after start time. One guy stayed on the phone with his parole officer. The other guy was making personal calls. They kept asking us how to load the truck. They tired to move slow to run up the time to get more money. Please remove them from your network.KAWANA B.
It wasn't the best experience- girl that helped me was so nice but working the front desk and going out to hook up trailer- 90 degrees and bad electric cord- when there was a problem she called for a manager- who seemed to be just scooting around on his "Segway"? The girl was more help- clearly they need more staff but I understand its hard to find workers with all this unemployment so I am very thankful that the very nice girl was there to help me today! Even though my location was changed from Northfield Ohio to Bedford Ohio which I really felt was an inconvenience the Bedford location serve to be a great spot and the customer service was awesome. The manager was very niceSERENA S.
Checking with the actual store to see if they have the product at the actual location. I rented a dollie but I asked if they can refund me but they said they couldn't print for proof. Please send me proof they returned my 10.00 for the dollies my emailed is not stating it was returned to my account for 9:00am on 7/2/21. This incident shouldn't have happened. I went to 2 locations burning gas in my car and never receiving the actual product. Communication is key. Knowledge of how the actual store runs for those answering the phone and taking reservations. I was not happy with the service and run around I received today. The store on 19000 rockside rd was excellent but the 21930 miles store I was conceive. My first experience utilizing this storage facility was great! The main woman manning the facility (I can’t remember her name but she was a woman of color with i believe light blue or purple dye at the end of her hair & the tattoos) was very sweet and helpful and was very efficient in her service skills. She was very patient and helpful when I asked to switch to a larger storage unit by showing me an example of how large the unit is before paying for it. She marked exactly on the paper map of where I needed to go to access my purchased storage unit. To begin with the move in experience at the Rockside (Bedford, Oh.) facility have not been great. When we were first assigned a unit and went to move, it was discovered that the unit belonged to someone else. Then we were assigned another unit. After moving into that unit and being there for a few days, once again it was discovered that the unit was attached to someone else. So, again we had to be assigned another unit and told that we had to be out of that unit in 24hrs. Thank goodness we hadn't moved everything in at that time. In addition to that, the first person that signed us up supposedly attached an alternate name to our account and we haven't a clue who this person is. Seemingly, they just found someone who's last name is the same as ours and attached them to our account. At the time of purchasing the unit we were never asked for an alternate name. This name was discovered when purchasing our current unit. We were also told that the name cannot be removed from our account until we renew our contract. I think this is ridiculous!!! Perhaps I do not understand the process. It seems that it should just be a matter of deleting the name and making the correction. This was no fault of ours!! So needless to say, the first impressions have not been favorable. The professionalism is really not great. Seriously, thinking about finding another storage company, especially, if this type of service continue. This is our third move in less than a month. We will see what happens next! Hope that we can stay put. We have also been customers for several years at the Broadway facility in Bedford, Ohio and have never experienced this type of service. Really not happy!!!
