Maybe more staff, waited in line for about 15 minutes to pick up a reserved truck. Maybe have a line just for reservations. Good job overall!

Ryan C.Well, this ‘Transit Rd', Depew, NY location was a little mediocre. The windshield & windows were a little dirty. Had to clean them myself, to see a little better. And, I had to do the ‘vehicle checklist' links, online, by myself. Which was different from the last time I rented a ‘truck & transport' combo, in another location in Clifton Park, NY. Found some discrepancies, & had to outline them on the ‘link', so I wouldn't be held responsible for previous damage. Also, the fuel was ‘just barely' on the ‘full line' at time of ‘pick up'. And, beyond the ‘full' line' (above the full line) when I dropped it off. Which means, you got more fuel when ‘returned', than at time of ‘pick up'. But, if I had given ‘You' less, you would have charged me. Which ‘Sucks'. But, other than ‘all' that, it was a good experience.

The lot was so small and they had so much stuff in this parking lot there was absolutely no room to manuever said truck and trailer so we got stuck trying to get it out the gate, it ended up taking us over an hour trying to get it off the lot while the employees sat inside and didn't offer help. The employees were rude, unhelpful and acted bored or bothered the entire time. Absolutely horrible experience.

It took over two hours to complete the process to pick up the truck, due to a verry slow website, difficulty getting acceptable photos of my driver's license, and looooong wait times on the phone trying to get help. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed!

Lynn S.My husband waited in line for 25 minutes only to be told that the truck we rented was not turned in on time. Uhaul was supposed to call us, but they did not. By some miracle, a person with the truck size we needed turned it in. We got the truck with 1/4 of a tank of gas and an hour late. We were extended a return time and told that we only had to turn the vehicle in with 1/4 tank of gas. Definitely aggravating.
Scott A.I reserved the same trailer the day before at your Orchard Park store.I took a picture and showed your rep. When I arrived, they had the incorrect trailer reserved for me. They found another on at the Depew store. This added an extra hour, for pickup and delivery of the trailer. I hired people to help me load and unload. I had to pay them to sit around and wait for me.

Nathan F.When we went to pick up our vehicle, they gave us one that did not have gas in it, and 1/2 way through our move the check engine light came one. We took it to the facility 15 minutes before they closed. Luckily, they were able to give us a different truck so we could complete the move. It was just inconvenience after inconvenience. However, we did get a credit for having to fuel the initial truck up. Was it the best experience, no. Would we rent from there again, yes.

Rosalind S.Replace the person who was there when I dropped off my trailer. I entered the store just after 7PM to return my trailer. There was a white male with curly blond hair, about 6', and about 220 lbs walking in my direction. As I was walking towards him, I said I wanted to return my trailer. His reply was, "You need to vacate the premise immediately. It's 4 minutes after 7". I didn't enter respond. I promptly turned around and started walking out. As I was walking out, he verbally gave me instructions on how to return the trailer online. Why would someone say something like this on their first interaction with a customer who just walked through the door? I'm 100% sure it was because I was black, and he didn't want to serve me. Because as he gave me my verbal instruction, he continued outside to help the 2 white customers who walked out just as I was walking in with their car. It appeared as though the truck wouldn't start as the hood was raised. I proceeded my return online. It took about 5 minutes. As I was driving away, he was still there helping the 2 guys with the truck.

Douglas K.When picking up, slow computer terminal caused a delay. When returning the truck before store opening, the return app was cumbersome and ultimately useless. Wound up waiting for a staff member to arrive. Your system needs improvement.
Michael Z.Customer service seems to be lacking, this location always seems to have long lines, I think the systems uhaul has in place makes it difficult for employees to help the customer. When I arrived I used the uhaul virtual check in, it's great but it needs work, the system is slow and can be buggy, it took me approximately 20 minutes to get assigned a vehicle and when I was assigned a vehicle it wasn't on the lot. At that point I was assigned a vehicle in the check out lane. The vehicle smelled of Marijuana which didn't bother me but it did concern me that I would be to blame. I still had to go in the office to get furniture pads I rented and I was greeted by a line of angry customers and one slightly flustered cashier. Once the cashier was finished with the disgruntled customers, he sent what seemed to be a trainee to grab my furniture pads and I was on my way. The vehicle's brakes were squeaky and the wheels and lugnuts appeared to be very rusted as if maintenance isn't up to standards but seemed to be safe enough. After my trip was complete I proceeded with the websites que for pictures, milage and fuel. 1/4 through this process an employee walked up and rushed me out of the vehicle. I mentioned what I was doing and they quite awkwardly stood by the door until I left instead of checking in a different vehicle. This became more and more of a problem as I completed the task to the point of uncomfortablilty. That rubbed me the wrong way. Although it was late and I'm sure they had alot to do, as part of uhauls procedures I felt obligated to fulfill my part of the check out process. I think at the end of the day, the employee meant well and was just doing the job. I think that this location needs a polish with some guidance from upper management and it will be a great store In a great area. Until then, it's just another slight inconvenience during most likely an inconvenient time.

I was told that I could do it online but the site will allow multiple ppl to make the same reservation. So I called - waited over 2 hours on hold and finally got to talk to someone. This made me think that I had the reservation. When I went into the store the next day, the staff told me the same thing - I still might not have it since the system allows multiple ppl to book the same space. Luckily I did get it - but that’s a really frustrating and upsetting system.

The issue is the floor is finished in a gloss polish. When I stepped out of my truck, my foot slipped and I fell to the ground. My while I understand the effort to keep the facility clean, I would suggest changing the floor finish to a "sand imbedded or textured" surface. Other than that, great people, gre3at site.

Just glad I didn't try to access the unit after 7 without any assistance for this debacle.
