Online says they have 15 ft trucks available only for u to go in the store after booking online twice and there is no 15ft trucks available! It took me waiting on hold for an hour to get roadside assistance and then it took another two hours for help to arrive. Corporate UHaul is an endless wait followed by unending transfers that can do nothing to actually help and local U-Haul will never help or call you back and just hide behind their corporate smokescreen. Uploading pictures for the receiving & returning truck process is time consuming. Moving can be stressful & this adds to it. Uhaul should conduct their own inspections and have you sign an acknowledgment waiver approving or disapproving the conditions of their trucks.YADIRA P.

The 24/7 contactless check in at this location per manager on duty, â€œnot a real thing â€œ despite uploading my information, (license , major credit card, and other necessary documents ) none of this information could be obtained . The return date was also during hurricane Ida aftermath in a city that was declared an emergency disaster requiring federal cleanup assistance and gas shortage . Even after doing the online check-in and being told that I could â€œskip the lineâ€, I was forced to wait in a very long line up until the time I spent 30 seconds getting my keys. In addition, the truck was nowhere near what was indicated by the map, and it took me 20 minutes to find it. When I returned for turn in, I was told by the inside clerks that I had to â€œcheck in outsideâ€, but after I returned to inform them that there was no one outside I was told â€œsomeone is out thereâ€ and â€œthat ain't my jobâ€. The process to pick up the truck was completely inefficient. I used the App as instructed, PAID and was ready to pick up my truck as planned and confirmed at 9am, but the store made me wait in line just to pick up the keys. It took me 1 hour and 45min to get the keys. I called U-Haul and was instructed to show my phone confirmation to skip the line, but that didn't work. On top of the delay, nothing of what I rented was ready in the truck. The delay cost me another few dollars because I had movers waiting for the truck. Now I have to call to Customer Service to ask for the refund of what they charged for the dolly and pads that I never received. This is the worst service ever.Javier C.

Impressed with availability of equipment. Took too long to get to counter to get contract. Once there, everything I had done to register and pre-check in online had to be done all over again. Wasted a half hour doing the check-in online and then had to wait over 45 min. in line to get to do it all over again at the counter. Took me just over an hour to pickup a small utility trailer. Above average rating is due to the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Outside yard staff offered help as soon as they were available. They were efficient and thorough. Made sure I was going to be safe. Very friendly too. Very attentive upon return of the equipment. I was taken advantage of during a time in need. After losing almost everything in IDA, my reservation was made for a location that was closed. I had to go further away to pick up the truck, but they did not have the size truck reserved. So I had to make more trips which costed triple the price.PAMELA W.
When changing over ownership about a year and a half ago, within 10 minutes someone backed a U-haul truck into my car and caved in the driver door. The reception was unhelpful and said they could not check security cameras and I was given a contact number to call. No one answered this number or responded to my voicemails. I've rented a truck twice and I always have to add extra time to my rental because it takes 2 hours to just pick up the truck because they just be facetiming their friends and not helping anyone. Only concern was that the 26 foot truck stalled when parked at an angle. When I called roadside I was told this was common when the gas was fairly low. It was given to me with between 1/4 to 1/8th tank. It did end up getting me to destinations.George S.

Uhaul said the truck could be picked up anytime using just a cell phone. However, the truck keys are stored inside the building so you need an employees help which is only available during their office hours. Fortunately, we arrived 30 minutes before they closed and were able to get our equipment but could have been locked out if we would have listened to uhaul.Daniel S.

The driver's side mirror on our rental moved with every bump which was a huge inconvenience and safety hazard.KRISTIN P.
I had to wait an hour to receive the rented vehicle. First, the truck was blocked in. There was a second truck parked behind it, so I had to wait for an employee to come from inside to move the vehicle. Then, there was low air tire pressure in the right rear tire. I had to wait for an employee to find a working air pump to fix the tire. When I returned the vehicle, it still said low tire pressure in the same right rear tire. Lastly, using the self check in option, it asks before completing your reservation that you take photos of any existing damage on the vehicle. I did take photos of the existing damage and was unable to submit the page. The manager of the uhaul location was called out to help me and he was unable to submit the photos of the damage as well. I ended up having to get a paper copy from inside and marking the damage on that sheet. Overall, the workers were extremely nice and helpful but it was like one thing after another that went wrong with the pick up situation.CHLOE H.

Moved out of storage unit. Told store desk employee and followed their instruction. I was getting emails about my stuff being there and my payment was late. I called and told them I moved out. I got emails about stuff going up to auction. I called and told them I moved out. I left a few things because I could not get them. I told desk employee. I even asked if they had somewhere I should throw the few things I had left. I have asked multiple times to speak with manager. Waited on phone for hours multiple times for almost a year. Was told he would return my call ever time after being placed on hold for unrealistic amounts of time. Was told he was hooking up trailer, filling up propane, checking truck, over in storage. None of these things should take almost two hours. He has never returned my phone calls. My account was sent to collections for over $1400. I am so disappointed and disgusted with the staff at this facility. I did everything I could to get this matter straightened out. The employee instructed me wrong. Had I known this would happen of course I would have done it differently. The manager avoids his duty to speak with customers and discuss important matters. I would not recommend this facility at all nor any Uhaul facility if I can not get this off my credit history. I should not have to pay for a storage unit I moved out of. I am giving excellent because the staff was very pleasant and helpful. I do have a problem because in the description of the storage unit it said 5xx8x10 and it is not that it is 5x8 at the front but it drops down to 4 or 3 foot. I really needed a storage unit as advertised. I will need to get into the storage unit often. I do not want to have to go and have to remove everything or close to everything just to get items out and put it all back just have to take it all out again to put it all back. I did not say anything the day I took possession because I was extremely tired and did not want to lose my temper.
