Customer service was horrid. I called because I had no way to remember how much gas to put in. They did not give or offer paper copies and the email would not open, so I called and they were to busy to help and the attendant was super nasty on the phone, even nasty to others who called once I came in the store. Horrid experience and I won’t even start about the movers I hired thru U-Haul! Ha NEVER AGAIN.

This is the second time I've tried to use the Uhaul app to pick up the truck that I'd reserved online at this location. I'm 0-for-2. This time the truck reserved for me was nowhere to be found and I had to go through a whole process inside the packed store. The people are friendly, but the technology and proposed convenience add up to false advertising.

The issues I have with U-Haul is with the maintinence of the truck. The truck broke down and would not start 5 times. After about 1 1/2 hours the truck final started on 4 occassions but on the other one I was stuck for almost 3 hours and had to contact roadside service. Another issue with the truck was the automatic transmission. Of the 1000 plus miles the trip was the transmission struggled to change gears. I would have to press the gas pedal all the way to the floor to get it switch gears and in doing so it would rev the engine to almost 5000 RPM which caused it to burn double the fuel it would normally take. All in all this drive should have only taken 18 hours at most but because of the operating condition of the truck it took over 2 1/2 days. When I explained all this to Tasha at customer service she informed me I would be compensated for all the trouble the truck gave me. I expect to be compensated at a bare minimum of 25 - 35 percent of the rental cost. I paid over $1,400 for the truck and it no way performed at that cost. I expect to be well compensated as soon as possible. I already have a customer dispute filed but no manager or supervisor has contacted me. Being a disabled veteran this is no way how I or any other customer should be treated. Anthony Komara

Never to go thru this company again. Uhaul is so money hungry that they makeup things to try and charge your card and not give you the refund you deserved back. Local businesses would treat you more kindly and not try and rip you off. Absolute worst business I’ve ever dealt with and I will be sure to let everyone I know. Thank you for bring light to my eye about how horrible your company is. I’m glad I learned now then later.

My comment about the truck would be that it did not have cruise control and made for a lot of extra effort and discomfort over approximately 800 miles and I know that your company advertises have that option .

Very fast in and out. Need to communicate with outside workers. I got a call to return the truck almost an hour later of returning it. Also don't like the electronic damages for inspection. Trucks I rented before were marked and none were marked on this truck glad I did all damages before I left parking lot.

Great place to get a UHaul rental. The people are friendly, and the equipment I rented, two different vehicles two days in a row, were both seller vehicles. Great experience overall, which is much appreciated, as moving can be a huge bummer most of the time.

Great service, and excellent quality equipment. Still waiting to see if my charges are right, as my credit union hasn't posted it yet. I was "tentatively" charged 75.00 as an estimate of what it would be. Then it was way less, and they sent me a statement for 49.00. That was great! But my bank still says 75.00 pending. Hope they charge the right amount (49.00), as I am def NOT a wealthy person. I think it will work out right, though, and then I would give them a perfect rating.

I reserved dolly wasn’t in truck, they took off bill but I’m still waiting for final recipt to be emailed so far all I’ve received is incorrect one with mileage estimate not final. Was told no charge till I returned truck incorrect was charged then credited for dolly and unused miles but still doesn’t add up

I only needed the truck for Friday to the end of Saturday. Since they would be closed at the time I named, they told me they had to rent it to Sunday morning. What they did NOT tell me is that I could return it and not pay for an extra day which I was not going to use. I found that out from a friend, luckily. I’d recommend if they let their customers know this as the app was easy to use and a real asset to the process.

I rented my truck on June 7th. Returned on June 7th at 630pm but my statement shows it was returned June 8th at 7am. False. Did not receive a receipt until June 12. My receipt says I rented on June 12th. False. Showed I had a balance of 56.91 due within 7 days of truck rental. Then I received an email today June 15th from uhaul collection. With a $30 late fee. How can I have a late fee if I didn’t receive my email until 5 days AFTER I rented. Interesting. What improvements can you make you ask? DONT GIVE FALSE INFORMATION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND DONT WAIT 5 DAYS TO SEND A RECEIPT. I will not recommend this company to my peers. That’s to bad because I thought this was a reliable company.

I backed the rental van into a tree and did $1,000 worth of damage to it. Luckily, I had purchased the $10 insurance, so it only cost me $150. They were very nice about it and checked me out efficiently. Be sure to get the insurance!!!

This is a VERY busy facility with a large inventory of product. We rented a car hauler and it was ready for pickup at our requested time. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A+ rating!

upon dropping off the trailer no one came out to assist with the unhooking. I am not sure if they were suppose too or not. also when it was originally hooked on it was not hooked on correctly as soon as we got home it detached.

When I was checking out, I opted to not get the insurance. When removing it from my purchase (so it seemed), the rep said it was acting funny and would run the card instead of me swiping my card. He bundled the papers together, out the door I went. To find out he still charged me for the insurance. When I called about it, he said I'd have to bring it back and rerun all the paperwork (check in, then out again)... That is a ridiculous expectation. Very disappointed in how I was charged an additional $25 that I did not want. He said "he'd make it up to me"... like that'll happen and they'll remember.

When I went to go leave my final destination to return my truck it did not start! I had to wait over 45 minutes for a friend to drive out and give me a jump. When I talk to the gentleman at the U-Haul place this morning he said that it had just came back from maintenance the day before. I feel that that should’ve been checked out and made sure it was OK before I even left the lot for it. I did a local when I went to go leave my final destination to return my truck it did not start! I had to wait over 45 minutes for a friend to drive out and give me a jump. When I talk to the gentleman at the U-Haul place this morning he said that it had just came back from maintenance the day before. I feel that that should’ve been checked out and made sure it was OK before I even left the lot for it. I did a local Morrow move but had I been out on the road in something like that it happened to me I would not of been too happy! I was not too happy about the situation as it was! The gentleman that answered the phone when I called was real nice but I did pay regular rates and regular mileage and it put gas in it before I brought it back
