The issues I have with U-Haul is with the maintinence of the truck. The truck broke down and would not start 5 times. After about 1 1/2 hours the truck final started on 4 occassions but on the other one I was stuck for almost 3 hours and had to contact roadside service. Another issue with the truck was the automatic transmission. Of the 1000 plus miles the trip was the transmission struggled to change gears. I would have to press the gas pedal all the way to the floor to get it switch gears and in doing so it would rev the engine to almost 5000 RPM which caused it to burn double the fuel it would normally take. All in all this drive should have only taken 18 hours at most but because of the operating condition of the truck it took over 2 1/2 days. When I explained all this to Tasha at customer service she informed me I would be compensated for all the trouble the truck gave me. I expect to be compensated at a bare minimum of 25 - 35 percent of the rental cost. I paid over $1,400 for the truck and it no way performed at that cost. I expect to be well compensated as soon as possible. I already have a customer dispute filed but no manager or supervisor has contacted me. Being a disabled veteran this is no way how I or any other customer should be treated. Anthony Komara

Never to go thru this company again. Uhaul is so money hungry that they makeup things to try and charge your card and not give you the refund you deserved back. Local businesses would treat you more kindly and not try and rip you off. Absolute worst business I’ve ever dealt with and I will be sure to let everyone I know. Thank you for bring light to my eye about how horrible your company is. I’m glad I learned now then later.

My comment about the truck would be that it did not have cruise control and made for a lot of extra effort and discomfort over approximately 800 miles and I know that your company advertises have that option .

Very fast in and out. Need to communicate with outside workers. I got a call to return the truck almost an hour later of returning it. Also don't like the electronic damages for inspection. Trucks I rented before were marked and none were marked on this truck glad I did all damages before I left parking lot.

Great place to get a UHaul rental. The people are friendly, and the equipment I rented, two different vehicles two days in a row, were both seller vehicles. Great experience overall, which is much appreciated, as moving can be a huge bummer most of the time.

Great service, and excellent quality equipment. Still waiting to see if my charges are right, as my credit union hasn't posted it yet. I was "tentatively" charged 75.00 as an estimate of what it would be. Then it was way less, and they sent me a statement for 49.00. That was great! But my bank still says 75.00 pending. Hope they charge the right amount (49.00), as I am def NOT a wealthy person. I think it will work out right, though, and then I would give them a perfect rating.

I reserved dolly wasn’t in truck, they took off bill but I’m still waiting for final recipt to be emailed so far all I’ve received is incorrect one with mileage estimate not final. Was told no charge till I returned truck incorrect was charged then credited for dolly and unused miles but still doesn’t add up
