I forgot my blue American Tourister at this u-haul location. I went home and mentioned it to the u-haul customer service representative and they said they would make a note of it in the system. Next day, when I went to return the truck, I picked it up from the garbage bin outside the building. This is totally unacceptable. They opened the luggage bag and threw my cardboard box as well.

The equipment was clean and well maintained. I would recommend the equipment, however, the customer service received upon checking in and receiving the vehicle keys was poor. The attendant was not friendly, seemed indifferent and stand offish. They engaged in conversation with co-workers instead of with customer support. Our interaction was basically "licence and credit card. sign here. fill out the form in your text message before you leave." Any questions asked seemed like a nuisance. The customer service (from a different employee) received upon dropping off the vehicle was the exact opposite, very professional, kind, and helpful.

Staff team did an excellent job serving me for my Motorcycle Trailer, Morgan, BH, David were too fantastic!! ** DO NOT RENT IF YOU HAVE A SOFT TOP JEEP!! FOR SOME UNGODLY SILLY ASS STUPID REASON YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TOW WITH A SOFT TOP JEEP BECAUSE APPARENTLY IT COULD “FLY OFF AND KILL SOMEONE”, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE IF IM TOWING A TRAILER OR NOT** Other than that silly remark which needs correction this location goes above and beyond to accommodate customer needs! Also Payment terminals unclear, 3 pin tries left??? What does that mean??

Customer care was inadequate, I spoke to 3 different employees at this location who told me three different things. One told me I could not book online, which I had done. They went so far as to say she didnt know there was a website for booking online. They refused to give me the keys despite the hold on funds being secured in my account. I used a visa debit on the website, and was told I needed a credit card, so I went home to get one. I was told my reservation would be changed so I could have the truck later than I originally anticipated. I got home after asking to reschedule and called the location because based on my account the had been rented to me (my only option was to return it) on the phone I was told that I should have been given the truck and again that my reservation would be extended. Their answer to me was essentially "come back, explain what happened and we might be able to fix it" When i got back to the office a few hours later it was a different person there, after explaining everything they told me my account was fine, I should have had the truck at my original time, and that the extension had not been made. The final person I spoke to, was very helpful, although I did feel like they got annoyed at us for asking questions about payment method. All day we were told my visa debit wouldn't work, however the request and reservation had gone through with that method of payment. We were asking for clarification and she told us, probably jokingly that you only don't accept monopoly money. I can appreciate that perhaps we just seemed a bit overwhelmed but it added to the fact that we were treated poorly by every customer service person at this location. I was offered a dolly for free because of the confusion but as someone who works in customer service, if you continously treat people poorly, free things don't make a difference on the lasting impression. If I ever use u-haul again, which as a first experience, this doesn't seem likely, I will go to another location.

Sent us to wrong location!! The hour drive it took to and from are home on our gas !!! Got reimbursed $38.99 for the inconvenience also had to wait over an hour before being told we were at wrong location

Employee at the time made my rental experience difficult. I had to give 4 different "emergency" contacts because he could not reach my wife at 8am. She was home asleep with my daughters at the time. He would not allow me to rent the trailer until he "spoke" to them directly. He later advised me outside that some people don't return equipment and wanted to make sure we a traceable.. I have never had this happen to me. I am a visible minority and I strongly feel this this was an act of racism. I have never offered an emergency contact to any office and had them contact them to trace me. I gave my driver's license and credit card that match which should have been more then enough. He also had the nerve to point out my address was from Toronto and not from hamilton, where I was renting the trailer. Worst experience for myself and the other visible minority who was in front of me. This is unacceptable.

All of the staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Instructions were made clear and concise. The descriptions of the sizes of the truck compared to 2-bdrm apartment (etc.) were extremely helpful, we ended up with the perfect size truck for all of our things.

First truck, battery was dead. Took almost another half hour to arrange another truck, after trying to update your app, only to find that the changeover was applicable to the 2nd truck. This truck needs attention on the suspension, as small imperfections in the road took a lot of steering well correction. Staff were very kind but I was frustrated trying to meet my movers on time with these delays first thing in the morning. Thank you.

The morning staff was not very helpful, it took me over 35 minutes to get the rental even though I completed the online check in they were trying to push. Then all I had was a negative rude attitude from Brandon. When returning the rental the experience was very pleasant and the gentleman that tended to me was very nice and answered all my questions.

I booked an in person rental vs mobile as I wanted to do the inspection with a person and was forced to use the app. There were items on the vehicle that I wanted stickered and amended. This was a frustrating experience. I chose in person and wanted that experience all the way through. It's NOT efficient or rewarding! Thanks!

The kid that we dealt with was rude didn't inform truck door was open the truck smelt like trash literally like a dump when we told the manager she was like oh did you use the link but she didn't send it until after we brought the truck back and was very rude about it. They ask u about how many kms u r going to drive. Then when u return they say how much u went over cause now they turn it into miles. I'm never dealing with this location again

See comment from pick up location. The pick up location sent us out with a damaged vehicle and the two women at the drop off location had to deal with the mess. Again, thankfully we got the insurance. The two women however had to deal with the mess created by the two men at the pickup location that sent us out with a damaged truck These two women being so helpful saved the overall experience

Very slow checkin process at this location. Some of the staff seem to lack the sense of urgency that all the customers possess upon arrival. Almost somewhat an ambivolent atmosphere for some at the desk. Lets pick it up a notch here. You have cameras to watch the customers, maybe learn something about your staff as well while you're at it?

I rented a 9' van. The cabin area was clean but the cargo area was dirty and the floor mat was torn. Check- out system is inadequate. The photos provided on the phone check-out system are not detailed enough on a cell phone to be of any use when looking for evidence of pre-existing damage. Your system usually does not allow a renter to upload enough photos to document the condition of a vehicle- - You need to provide better photos and more capacity for renter's photos for your system to work properly.

Everyone was very nice this visit. I had to put rental furniture in the vehicle for staging purposes and took note immediately that there was dust and some dirt on the floor. It is worth mentioning that to most it would have been fine. And it is for this reason that I bring blankets for the floor. Overall it was fine. Thanks.

Girl at customer service is extremely terrible. I have visited that location twice in last week. 1st time she forced me to bring the vehicle back before 24 hour because another customer has to pick that vehicle, when I came back more than 4 vehicle of same size and category were there. It's mean she lied to me that someone is picking up that vehicle. Second time same girl pushed me to bring the trailer back within 4 hours. She lied to me again and it was there for full day after I dropped it off. Very suck service. I don't want to pay full day rent for 4 to 6 hours. (Even you have enough vehicle to rent) your employees are hustling customers on purpose to bring vehicles back early. It is a bullshit. I'm a regular customer but I will find another better company. Fuck your annoying employees.

Note that you will be dinged for gas tanks not being full on pick up (they blamed a 'siphoning problem' at this location) if you don't note it immediately. Take pictures of odometer and gas level at pick up and drop off. Morgan the manager is the only one to deal with - she's professional and has decent customer service skills.

Gas was just under 1/2 tank when I picked up my rental. I had returned it with the same amount and was told I'd have to till it more. I don't appreciate having to fill up further because someone else didn't and uhaul employees didn't inspect the gas amount before hand.

I rented a GMC Savanah cargo van. I drove 18km and had to put in 5.09 liters if gas to bring the gas gauge back to its orihinal level. This means that van did roughly 3km/l of gas. I have the gas receipt. When I brought it up tge attend could not figure out how I got that 3 number. The manager told me its a big rental vehicul not like a car. And if I didn't like go somewhere else. O by the way she also mentionned that others had complained. I will take her advice and after over 35 years of renting Uhaul trucks I will go somewhere else.

Lady had a District manager uhaul shirt on. She was on the phone with a customer from another location for over 30mins then spoke with an employee about how terrible the ac repair service was before helping me and everyone else in line... she was the only one on cash and was unpleasant when she did finally help me, like I was bothering her. Then I get to the truck and its blocked in by their ac repair guys ... they looked at me and watched me get in the truck to leave, but left their truck anyhow to go into the booth (they also had uhaul shirts on and it was a uhaul truck). It took almost an hour to get started on my trip... This location lacked any kind of customer service

My unit leaked water every time it rained. I was sometimes provided blankets to put in the corner to soak up water. After I vacated the unit have continuously being charged late fees and harassed.
