The rubbers on the trailer chain hook were missing, they had to take it from another trailer and also they were a bit ripped and kept falling off.

Please ensure that the correct truck is available, especially when the customer books it weeks in advance. We had ordered a 17-inch truck 3 weeks in advance of our moving date only to learn that it was not available for when we had booked it. Aside from that, the 15-inch truck we were given got the job done and was clean/in order. Thank you.

I tried the self serve but thevtruck assigned to me was the farthest awsy and after trying to move five trucks to get it out they gave up and registered me the old way with a diffetent vehicle. This had loose steering a mirror that kept moving out position and a noise occasionally from the differential. Not this dealers fault. Old equipment. Good thing I was going a short distance or I would have returned it for another.

I'm a returning customer, having rented multiple vehicles at the Upper Wellington location. The service has been hit or miss, but was a definite miss twice when a specific young man was serving. Once, I came in to rent a van and he was inattentive, speaking with another coworker about something between them the whole time I was being served. Inattention isn't great service, but I just let it go. He's young and I don't expect extravagant service when I rent a van. The same young man served me the other day when I came in to rent an appliance dolly. He was dismissive and unhelpful to the older ladies in front of me. Then when it was my turn, he took my order, then told me that next time I must not park where I parked. There's no clear place for customers to park, so I thought I had parked out of the way enough. Turns out I had parked close to another no parking sign. My bad. I agreed and said I'd park elsewhere next time. Then he kept at it, with someone in line behind me, talking about how inconvenienced he was by my parking and that an employee had to drive around my car. I said okay, again, showing that I understood. I asked him where I should park next time. He said "anywhere else" and then continued to repeat himself. How inconvenient it was and how clear the signage was. I nearly walked out, but I needed the dolly and was on a tight timeline. It felt like he wouldn't let it go until he was satisfied that I understood how awful my decision was and how it had impacted his life. I'm a customer service professional and, as you can probably guess, I was very disappointed with my experience. To be near-berated, and told about how much I had inconvenienced an employee when I'm trying to give him my money is outrageous. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a customer-service experience. I'm now a detractor. I'll tell others to avoid this place and I'll be investigating other companies when I inevitably have the need. I certainly don't plan on returning to this U-Haul location.

The truck, the staff at U-Haul - great. However, I paid for two assistants through moving help and they didn't show up. Don't rent vehicles to people and then have to cancel or change things last minute. Such a disaster trying to figure out something last minute that was suppose to be already reserved. And learn how to read gas metres as my metre was well below what they tell you and then say fill it up to 3/8s when your gas metres don't even show 3/8s

The customer service rep who helped me when I first walked in was half asleep and not courteous at all. Young guy who looked like he didn't want to be there and was maybe hung over?! He didn't smile once and I really felt that I was an inconvenience to.him being there! I pointed it out to him and his response was "well, would you want to be here at 9 am on a Sunday?!" - which of course I was! The initial reservation taken over the phone, the lady barely spoke English and didn't spell name right at all; hence me not getting a confirmation of the reservation via email (which is my name!)- I clearly spelt it to her! She spelt it Cathrin- and it's Catherine. Email catherinepeters19@gmail.com other than that, the truck served it's purpose.

I had experienced numerous and repetitive problems with the organization from location to head quarters. Showed up for my reservation and the location has closed early so I was unable to get the trolley (I had paid for) as well as tie-downs I said I was going to need. I completed the self-check in as I was just going to get the keys and attempt without the tools I requested. I was given a lock box number and code, which didn't work on the specified box or any other boxes at the location. I had been on the phone with customer service for over an hour, spoke with at least 10 separate people and was hung up on twice. The manager had been called multiple times on multiple numbers by multiple people and hadn't picked up at all. We ended up wasting an hour, gas from Guelph and the driving time. We weren't able to collect the item (a fridge) from the seller because this was the only day we were mutually available and the sold it to somebody else. A nightmare of an experience with a petty resolution... I was offered the trolley for free, which wouldn't have even covered gas and when I requested the large trolley as we are moving appliances - I was given a hard time.

Having to back in to a spot is hard for some people (like me). If it were possible to just pull up and have someone drive it into the spot that would be helpful. Also, a more clear way to help people know how much gas to put back in would be appreciated.

don't know how u guys stay in business. was sent to three locations to get my truck. 2nd location was out of business!!!! was told to fill truck before bring it back i did 30 k mileage and put $27 of gas in truck. when i questioned i was told a manager would call me. Have a guess who never called. will never rent from u again and will tell everyone about story. sorry your company is very bad.

My contract mistakenly contained other items which I had not authorized. The staff could not explain the issue other than that the computer system sometimes does this. I'm glad that I checked the invoice or I would have paid for items which were not ordered. I did waste time having to wait while this was corrected. This should not happen.
