this is the second time I’ve run a vehicle there and they charge a service charge for adding fuel for $30. I think that’s absurd. We talked it off. It didn’t need gas. We went less than 5 miles.

Way too many furniture pads - took up a lot of space. The arrival date was changed twice and late in the day of arrival requiring us to adapt our schedules multiple times.

I had no issue with 3rd party movers. There was a major 3-hour delay in getting my U-Haul container to arrive at the apartment for unloading and emptying the container. I work weekends and had to cancel my appointment, which felt very unprofessional. The movers informed me that the U-Haul employees on site first loaded the wrong container onto their truck and that an employee was eating pizza on the job and taking their time in attaching the container to the truck. When arranging 3rd party movers originally, U-Haul customer service assigned me with a company that wasn't in service, and I had to make multiple calls to fix this last minute. Due to poor communication and a lack of knowledge, I had to constantly make calls to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. It ended up being too much work for me. Customer service was kind and helpful during the calls, but there were many errors along the way.

The trailer I rented has debris left in it. I had to sweep the debris out prior to using the trailer so my load did not get damaged. This should have been swept clean by the U-Haul worker.

Containers were NOT where I needed or asked them to be. I called manager to complain and he said "I can see by the photo it would have been better placed where you asked but no one can come back and move them". So, YOUR problem JUST became MY PROBLEM. Shame on you! It was more level where I asked for them to be placed than the steep street they were placed on. CONTAINERS ARE JUNK. My elderly parents and my disabled vet husband had a very difficult problem. I was not able to get everything I wanted. I WANT A FULL REFUND ON BOTH CONTAINERS. One was mine and the other was in my mother's name Patty Olcus. GOOGLE review is NEXT and BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. SHAME ON YOU UHAUL.

Next time check stuff in as it come in I checked my returned my trailer later on that night. I got a email saying that it wasn’t returned. I had to call next time checking in as people bring in or maybe I need to come to the counter and make sure it’s checked in and not just assuming Next time

Good service, only complaint is that U-Haul doesn’t give refund for the days left in the month after our move-out from vehicle storage . As there is a waiting list, So U-Haul gets our money and rents our space to someone else; double profit. Not good.

U-Haul on Washington BLVD is always a pleasant experience. I’ve rented trailers often and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Pickup and drop off is a breeze when you reserve ahead on the app. I highly recommend it for truck and trailer rental.

Keep the woman who checked me in. She is the best I've ever worked with at this location. The truck I got was very beaten up. It worked fine, but the transmission felt soft. The back was clean though. And, it won't stop me from coming back, to be frank.

The person who checked me in and got me in the road did a great job of getting me in and out as efficiently as possible. She was pleasant and helpful, and while it was busy with a lot of people renting she managed it well so everyone was handled in an efficient manner and no one had to wait too long.

Everything was fine. I’ve visited this place many times, and overall, I’m satisfied with it. However, this time, I experienced two issues that were a bit disappointing: 1. There was only one staff member at the reception, so the wait time was too long. 2. The vehicle’s windows, especially the side ones, were too dirty to see the side mirrors clearly

They never checked my rental back in after I returned it at 6:44p the same day I got it I had to go down to the rental place on my lunch at 3p to make them close it out . And they already had the uhual parked with the rest of them ready for use with an active status on it like I still had the uhaul . I believe they forgot about it

I just didn’t like that. It took a long time to get approval for the 24 seven usage of the rental the only way that I was able to get approved is that my referral person that stated that they knew me actually called into the Uhaul place after waiting for a while for a representative actually called them and it was able to get it done. It would’ve been just smoothly if someone would’ve called back immediately so they had me waiting at the location for at least 30 minutes or so just to get the approval

Vehicle worked fine. Equipment was clean, but not being a smoker, I did not like the smell of cigarette in the vehicle. It was plenty large for my needs. I realize that the "grid" behind the seats allow for stacking things high in the cargo area, but I found it difficult to look through the rear-view mirror because it blocked a lot of the visibility. A clear plastic plate would serve the purpose and allow a better use of the rear-view mirror.

The truck was very damaged and the clip on the back gave us problems when we tried to open and close the back door and there was lots of dents and scratches all over the vehicle. I felt like they could’ve given me a newer one that wasn’t so jacked up and damaged.

My son and I had an outstanding experience at U-Haul Moving & Storage at Washington Blvd, located at 1052 Washington Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly, even helping attach the tow for my son’s car with great care and expertise. Their upbeat attitude and sense of humor made the process enjoyable—they joked around with us because we were Packer fans and made us feel welcome throughout the visit. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this particular location for anyone needing U-Haul services. They truly exemplify what great service should look like!

The facility is immaculate and the unit was also, I just don't recommend the upper units if you have heavy items, appliances, etc to store. Definitely chose a unit on ground level. Beyond that, I would rent storage units at this facility anytime. Denise

The staff when I moved in was quite condescending, asked unclear questions during the check in process (have you moved in to the storage unit already, they meant the online move in process but I interpreted it as physically moving in) and showed visible frustration when I didn't correctly answer the question. They generally talked down to me for the interaction. I had also bought a lock because I was unaware the unit came with a free lock. When we arrived at the unit, the staff member took the free lock back with them because I had already bought a lock. On move out, my move out request was not processed for a week. Only after I got a warning that I would be billed for another month and I reached out to the manager did my move out get finalized.

Lots of confusion among the staff here. I cleaned out my storage unit and they said they would close the account, but they never did and I was charged an extra month even though unit was empty and I had done everything I was supposed to do.

Asst. Mgr. Mike Nardozzi was very helpful and great to deal with. He secured a double storage unit for us, near closing hours, when we showed back up with a loaded T 20 moving truck because the final destination was unexpectedly occupied, beyond our control on 7/29. We came back 8/4 to complete the move. Mike also stopped by to check to see if our unit was satisfactory and working out for us, on his way home from Washington Ave. store on 7/29. I would use this location again without hesitation. Thank you.

This experience would have a higher rating except that 1) I wasn't told the unit wasn't pull up and that stairs were required to access it - until after the contract was signed. there is no lift or ramp in the facility; 2) Uhaul connected me with a moving team to help get the things up and told me they were booking them at a 2 hour slot, but that it would be prorated for the 30 min that i needed them for. When they arrived they said their was no prorate and that has never been the case. I asked the Uhaul office about this and they said that I have to call Moving Help to resolve. For a busy person, this is not ideal to have to chase this down and make sure the costs were as promised. I tried to call once but the wait time was long so will try again.

The staff at the Washington Blvd facility didn’t have an idea of the processes there! When I had questions or wanted to close my contract they didn’t know how to respond. They asked among themselves trying to find out how to do their job. Very disappointing experience.

Two staff couldn’t find my online reservation and had to be processed as a walk-in; am concerned about double-billing. The first building access code provided did not work. The call button on the door did not work; had to go back to the other store to get help. The actual building has water-logged hallways and smells like a dead body.

The issue isn't whether or not the storage facility had enough light or if it was clean enough either my issue is I paid the cost $124 for the month which was due November 21st was only in there 1wk and what you chose to refund to me was $2.81 of that which was paid. U-Haul Moving and Storage on Washington Blvd is a hard working storage and truck rental business. The staff is on point and knowledgeable. The Eastside of Pittsburgh where this U-Haul store is located is in a very difficult area and neighborhood. Vince the Manager, Helen T. also know the area and how to deal with the residents and customers. Along with the rest of the crew the U-Haul on Washington Blvd is a valuable and necessary part of the community! I wouldn't trust my items for storage or truck rental to any place else! U-Haul Moving and Storage on Washington Blvd...You're the TOPS!!!!

The office wasn’t open. I didn’t know that the dolly wasn’t placed in the rental truck prior to leaving. There was no way that I could get one during the hours that I moved. We had a hard time getting furniture into the storage unit as a result. The employees were friendly and professional. Ultimately we got everything done. It was not an easy task though.

I am authorized U-haul dealer in Pgh, but due to unforeseen circumstances. I had to close temporarily, I've had to deal with the Washington Blvd. facility for over 18 months. Their Manager Vince Beviquila and Helen Terry and staff have been very accommodating and professional and have help us throughout our ordeal. I recommend them highly.

Don't get me wrong. I love U Haul and have been renting trucks from you guys for as long as i can remember. I do have to say, the storage rental experience with you guys was not a good one. First off I reserved an outside/drive up unit but upon arrival i was informed by the girl at the office that there were no more outside,drive up units available and was given an inside 2nd floor unit and was told this the only unit available. There is a set of 12-14 steps you had to climb to get to my unit. This was excruciating having to move a three bedroom house having to climb these stairs with home furniture. This facility should be equiped with ramps. You guys supplied carts but what's the use of carts when you have to climb a flight of steps. Long story short this made for a very long and strenuous moving day and another one on the move out. Install ramps guys PLEASE!!!
