I had to wait 20 minutes to get checked in which made me late to my event. NOT COOL!! there was not enough staffing. Saving money at the expense of iur time is not good business. I almost left, but as you can see, very upset abut it.

Inform people that you will take out a large deposit ahead of time. Stop requiring a second phone number just to rent a damn truck. And then when I give ya one, you don’t want to accept it! Slow down and speak clear english

Have the truck needed at the desired location. I had to go to W. Waters to pick up but wanted to pick up at Westchase.

Was told if I fill tank past the amount that it had when rented to me that a $9 discount would be applied to final amount and when I returned it after (putting gas in it and put more gas in than when I got it) I was told I don't get a $9 discount and that's not what I was told when picking it up.

Couldn’t get anyone out to the return area. Went inside and was told to go back outside and wait. I was the only person in line. Went back inside after 10 minutes and asked if I could just leave. A guy then apologized and came out. I spent twenty minutes waiting for no basic reason except they forgot I was there parked close there window waiting.

Myself and my business partner went to rent a truck and perhaps set a relationship with your business and mine. We've been at Ryder for 2 decades and rent trucks 5 times per year. We decided to give Uhaul a try. Bad mistake!!! While Jesse was working with us, Alejandro interrupted us numerous times because he needed Jesse's help with another customer outside. Well what about us? We weren't finished with Jesse so Alejandro came back in and said "let's go!" "your truck is ready" I told him I wasn't finished talking to Jesse and he would have to wait. This man was so rude and unprofessional I will never take myself or my staff there again. I blame Uhaul for not training these employees. Why doesn't your employee know that he should not be interrupting another employee while they are taking care of a client? Alejandro came and interrupted us 3 times because he was getting impatient waiting for Jesse. Not acceptable!! I don't expect any "disciplinary " actions to be taken. They are rarely taken but this might be why your employees don't have knowledge of how clients should be treated while they are renting YOUR trucks. If you would like to speak with me personally... When you say there is nothing else owed. Don't charge the card for $2.00 at a later date. Yeah you're going to say it was the miles, but it was agreed that the over fill of gas would equal out the charge. And it was actually a lot over in gas compared to miles. Your word is your bond. Stick to it.

The location is short staffed and those they do have have horrible customer service skills. I waited over 30 minutes to return a truck and while each of the two people working walked passed me multiple times neither ever even acknowledged me. I left without getting properly checked in after they began helping other people that had arrived after me.

I would not recommend the company as a whole. I was to pick up my truck the payment would not process through the online service so I had to wait to the location opened. After waiting for 20 for others to be served (understandable) the truck was blocked by a broken down truck. The truck on the right was moved and then the guy hit the truck to the left. I rented a furniture dolly and a dolly. drove all the way to my house just to find no dollies at all. Drove back to pick them up to find, you had no furniture dollies. the guy saids "you will find a 30.00 credit on your account. by this time it is 10:15, an hour and 45 mins later. Because of the delay, one of my friends who only had an hour and a half to help me had to leave. No one ever said I had to check in the truck online. The guy at the counter said, "you have it for 24 hours". After a long day, I gas up the truck, dropped at the location, put the key in the drop box provided and went about my business thinking that I would see the credit I was promised. Instead, I received the bill the next morning and there is a additional 20.00 charged. I called to speak to someone about the situation, a young lady answered the phone, I told her about my woes and she asked me to hold and she would transfer me to customer service. I am a teacher so busy during my planning , when I looked down at my phone, she had placed me on a dead hold and never returned to phone the for 38 minutes. I called again after work and a nice young man, spoke to his manager and credited me the 20.00. WHAT? omg..... Sorry, but I have worked in the customer service field and have never or would never treat someone with the disregard I was treated. How can you improve services for the next customer?Please refund the charge for the furniture dolly (not there, my furniture was damaged because of that) and the credit I was promise for the inconvenience of the entire matter. Make sure you inform the customers that there is a charge for after hours, Make sure you have the equipment promised, and follow through on your word, teach the staff phone etiquette . We were scheduled for a 24/7 mobile pick up at 7 am. I had to wake up our baby to go get the truck. The truck was not staged so we had to go back home and go back at 9 when the store opened. The workers said the truck wasn’t stage because it wasn’t returned on time by the previous renter. We should have been notified before closing the night before to let us know.

The bag of blankets were not clean, when I opened them to put on my furniture they were filled with sand and pine needles, yet they were useable! When I mentioned this on return Lazaro was very kind about and gave me a discount. This was nice and unexpected. It’s the second time I have used this particular store and I would use them again!

When I asked very specifically how your company handles toll road charges before driving away in one of your rental trucks your company representative failed to disclose that U-Haul charges an additional $1.00 per toll on top of the regular toll charges from the state!!! What a shocked to receive collection notices by email for unpaid toll charges from U-Haul after I paid by bill on time like I always do!!! Very Poor Customer Service!!!

This location has poor communication and poor customer service skills because they do not alert and warn their customers of any fees and charges even if you do not have the U-Haul for 24 hours because it was reserved for another customer they still charge you and they charge you more than what they're supposed to so no I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone sorry

I would recommend storage access being later hours...closing at 7 pm. is inconvenient....only open to 8 pm. on Friday, unable to work & move items. Also climate control at 80 degrees + is too hot!
