The truck I was provided was very old and in pretty rough condition both cosmetically and mechanically. The graphics were completely faded and peeling off the truck. Several interior trim pieces were loose and falling off. And the truck had an obvious and significant exhaust leak resulting in very loud noise and strong exhaust smell in the vehicle cab (which could be potentially dangerous).

I received a van with low miles that drove perfectly. Now, the service at the counter is something to tell everyone. I have rented from many uhaul locations through many,many years, even decades. Now the Westchase location is by far the best I've been in. The amazing service provided by Jean is at another level! He truly cares about his customers and will treat you with respect. Sadly, I will be moving out of the area soon and will make my last rental there. I can only hope that if I need to rent again from uhaul, I get someone as professional as Jean!

My checkin in guy was fantastic. He was polite and communicated the details fantastically! I have rented at this location before now this this the experience was very awkward i rented just to move 1 piece of furniture. I returned before the expected time. Usually i would use my app and return contactless however this time i was approached by the “ Owner “ who told me to get back in the van and wait and then he came up to me with his tablet and asked me a bunch of random questions about the van like was there a check engine light on? How are the brakes did it overheat? And then proceeded to go around the van with a metal stick and bang each tire and then he asked me to put the blinkers on each side do the break, and he was slamming all of the doors in the meantime, and then he asked me to pop the hood latch, which I had no idea where it was at. I felt like that was very inappropriate and me being a woman there alone none of that should’ve happened and I also let him know how I felt and he said he would tell his boss but if he if he was the owner, he is the boss I honestly don’t feel like I am going to return to that location because of this and it was very uncomfortable for me being a woman there. I’ve never ever experienced anything like this in my life. I felt like I was being singled out and accused of something

I find it ridiculous that I can decline insurance on the reservation but according to your employee I cannot waive insurance. I had to wait forever to get service. When someone finally came in they told me I had to keep waiting so they could use the restroom. They shoved a phone in my face and took my picture, still not sure why. They didn’t say anything about taking the picture. The manager finally came in and argued with the employee while I was trying to finish up the paperwork. Horrible experience.

This was our worst experience that we’ve ever had at aUhaul store. The customer service was horrible! There wasn’t a smile in the place. When we had to modify our reservation, we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them. As far as the equipment goes, it was filthy as well as not maintained. The door to the back wouldn’t come down easily, the window wouldn’t roll up completely so there was an air noise with that the whole time. The visor was broken. There was also a loud swishing noise behind our seats that we heard every time we went over a bump. It was very disappointing! If the customer service would have been good, that would have at least made the experience better. Even the owner was unpleasant and never smiled. In fact, he talked about firing an employee right in front of us. Very unprofessional! The whole experience was terrible. We will drive 10 miles out of our way in the future to a different Uhaul store before we do business with this store again.

Unfortunately this location managed by Mr. Jean Dominique, jean_dominque@uhaul.com, listed the gas as full when it was only half full. Furthermore, when I returned the truck the attendant who doesn’t speak good English was very irritated for whatever reason and failed to provide basic customer service. In the end I was charged a $25 cleaning fee for some alleged unfolded moving blankets. But I was standing right there and could have addressed this in seconds given the chance. When I contested the fee, I was refused refund. Never again, U-HAUL. This travesty of customer care Jean Dominique is unacceptable

The website was the biggest issue. The information was not consistent with the store's service times. But the store itself was very easy to work with and I like the regular reminders leading up to the appointment.

When I tried to submit pictures of my license on line to speed up the check out process - it would not allow me to do so - I tried various file extensions and it still would not upload. That should be fixed. Check-in process at the physical site was relatively easy and fairly quick.

There was a gentleman that was more than extremely rude to my sister who is also listed on the unit. I can speak with my sister to get his name. Excellent facility, especially the bathrooms. Only complaint I have is the hallway lights are on a motion timer so if you’re inside your unit the lights go out. So it’s a constant game of going out into the hallways and waving your arms to turn the lights back on.

El manager Dominique es una persona que el día sábado 25 estaba bastante estresado , su trato a diferencia de los demás empleados es muy pero muy malo , su actuación era como la de una persona molesta , su velocidad para resolver era algo asi como apúrate cliente que ya quiero terminar , y no una postura como quiero agradar al cliente Y que se sienta satisfecho , el como manager no sabia que yo había rentado un espacio allí aparte del truck , al hacer mi reserva les comenté que no me llevaría mas de 5 horas . Sucedió que llegue más tarde a buscar el truck , y por ende me pase de las horas de reserva . Al llegar le dijo al joven Juan , le cobras un recargo por no haber llegado a tiempo . Con una cara gesto y acción como si hubiese cometido un delito federal . En fin de resto el trato general de todos los que están por debajo de el fue muy pero muy atento y amable . Respondieron mis preguntas con posturas correctas de una persona que están dedicadas a dar el mejor servicio . Para con los clientes de forma general .

Storage was fine, but renting uhaul was another story to move the storage renting the truck had NO AIR CONDITIONING AND THE CAB OF TRUCK SMELLED LIKE CAT PEE- I let the local manager know of these concerns was addressed they were dismissed.

The storage unit was clean and it was located on ground floor which was convenient for movers to load the furniture. Only issue I can recollect was I had to wait couple of hours to receive the storage unit as the other tenants were still moving out, in essence I was reserved the unit but it wasn't available yet to move, just a mistake by representative who reserved the unit.

Since we moved from NYC to Florida we have had an used UHAUL until NOW! It is sad and disheartening that employees professionalism and customer care has completely disappeared from this UHAUL location. The failure by managers and employees to properly, effectively and professionally take care of issues has cause us to remove any all accounts and no longer do business with UHAUL. Further with same concept in mind we have also informed any and all those we recommended to do the same-as some have already notice the unsatisfactory situations. My movers could not fit all of my items in the storage space I chose. I walked around front, pulled the door and they had closed. As I walked to the car an employee came and let me in. Brian A., the manager I believe, hung around and set me up with another unit for my remaining items. He didn’t have to do that and I am grateful for his kind actions. This isn’t the first time I’ve used their services and this location never disappoints. All the employees I’ve encountered have been friendly and helpful. They carry my boxes to the car and all that. Uhaul rates are to expensive.. This location their alarm goes off periodically just to remind you that you have a heart and scares the crap out of you every single time. If you have weak heart, think twice about this location because it will put your medication to the test.

I was given an extra three days by Uhaul with my trailer because I was having transmission issues on my trip from Az to Fl.. I return my trailer and still got charged 65 more dollars for it.

You need a patron dumpster because sometimes thing brake when your moving and it’s not fair from them to transport the broken objects like a mirror across state to dispose of it.

Your staff changed my lock, When I asked if it had been changed the guy at the counter had an attitude and said “no we don’t do that”. When in fact UHaul did change it. Worst customer service ever!
