I asked for a dolly and there was none, plus we were recording the mileage and saw it jump in less than a minute to a mile .... obviously I didn't go to far if I only put $5 dollars of gas while I had the ac blasted so I feel that mileage is rigged ....

My family and I were lucky enough to find a uhaul facility that even had a truck left to help us load up our home to hopefully save our more precious belongings during hurricane Irma. Unfortunately, after loading and finding a safe place to store the truck while we went to a shelter, the hurricane shifted and put us directly in its path causing us to be in a mandatory evacuation zone. Not wanting to lose our important items or have to pay for the loss or any damages to the truck, we decided to evacuate with it. Upon being able to finally return to our home to start recovering, after driving for over 32 hours and having to unload the truck, we were told that it was 99 cents every mile, bringing our total over $1600! Now I understand that it's probably somewhere in the fine print of the contract, but this should be a statement said while going through the motions of renting the equipment in the beginning! Had I known this is what I was going to return home to ON TOP of all expenses of evacuating and repairing my home, I would have left your equipment out in the hurricane or not even rented at all.



Mistakes were made all around. Beginning with the person we spoke to for reserving the vehicle to the mess we walked into when we went to pick up the vehicle. Nobody checked the vehicle in front of us for damage so the whole time we were worried about possibly having to pay for scratches that were already on the vehicle. We were rushed out of the store because it was almost closing time. Not our fault that the person that reserve the truck for us must stop. Also we spent way too much money trying to fill the truck with gas being that the gas gauge wouldn't go up. Seemed like a scam.

The guys working there are amazing and U haul should know they got some great fellas working for them. After the hurricane we just endured the guys are keeping the place running orderly with no internet access even using their own cellphones and their personal data to conduct business. Knowledgeable, curtious, and hard working. Give those guys a bonus already



When spoke to the lady in your call center; I stressed that I wanted a trailer that had electric trailer brakes! She assured me the trailer would have electric brakes! That is not what the pick up location rented me! I told them I wanted a trailer with brakes! They said no trailer with brakes! I almost rear ended some cars three different times on my way to Georgia! Why does U-Haul LIE to their customers to get their business? Really Really Pathetic!



Hard to teach them by phone.



So many dents near the door that I had trouble opening the driver side door. The dents were marked and known by the company.



Walked in without a reservation and left with a van in ten minutes. It doesn't get any easier than that.

I had an issue w the truck. It was raining and most of my wood furniture wet and some water demage. Because I had gotten the insurance the "manager" Didn't want assist me. Her just said I had to a 1 800# that is always busy and a long wait time. Plus, the truck a very weird smell to it

Had the truck I needed.



Honor what you tell the customer. I was told I could pay with a different method when I brought the truck back. They charged the original credit card and then said there was nothing they could do about it.

The service was good at the office. However, the truck they provided was in bad shape. The driver door did not seal properly when closed so a lot water came into the cab while driving through rain. Also, I had to keep switching between Drive and 3rd to get the truck into gear. The vehicles need to be better maintained.



I was told that I would be charged .59 cents per mile and on my bill the chargerd me .79 cents per mile.
