Had few issues.One I was told could come early truck would be there.It wasnt.I don't like animal hair and it was everywhere in cab of uhaul.I also had a trailer that lights kept going out on ,plug was fine.The location is not checking things enough.I had rented trailer from same location week before and was sold a plug adapter which I was charged wrong .It was 8 something yet I paid 13ish but dont have reciepts so stuck with it.I know everyone is short staffed but as I waited for truck there was at least 4 more same size parked on lot.Will not be returning to this location.Joseph A.
Cannot adjust mirrors, which creates a hazzard when trying to switch lanes. Can only get insurance or pay for whatever damage they claim. Customer service was not professional. I asked for what thebfinal cost was. O was told one second and walked out. No additonal comment. Just peaced out and came back 3 minutes later like i was an inconvenience.TRAVIS N.

I do not believe the truck was cleaned in between people using the vehicle. The people at Uhaul gave me the truck with ~1/4 of a tank and I returned it with > 1/4 of a tank. They originally claimed I returned it with 1/8 of a tank, charging me and extra $30. If I did not check my receipt this would have went unnoticed. I called and they fixed the issue for me but this seems like an easy way for Uhaul to make some extra money off of people... Also one of the tires was about an inch higher than the other tiers and it was difficult to get traction with the vehicle.DANIEL P.

This is a horrible location. They attempted to charge me for after hours fee when I dropped off my truck 2 hours after my pick up making it 5:30pm their app was not working and they charge me for being dirty when all I pick up was a new snow blower from the store and a pallet of pellet and everything was removed all that was left was maybe some water on the floor if that we cleaned. I had to report it to my credit card a dispute. Sad that I had to do this but Shane would not send me his evidence that he said he had. Never will I rent from them and I will make sure to let everyone know that this location suck. I rented from U-Haul several times before out of state and within the state first time having issues with U-Haul.RAY A.

I use U Haul quite often for work. As long as I receive the correct vehicle requested, the Check In and Check Out time is reasonable, and I receive a printed receipt, then I don't have any problems.ALAN B.
Staff was not helpful in research into account and charges related to the account, told to call customer service as they sat and watched, refused to service after being asked to look into charges nobody could seem to find that was linked with a reservation # and order #. Why would a company provide a customer with such reference numbers if you have no way to research with them, gives your customers and future customers a false sense of trust in company that refuses to stand by their word and then refuses to help a customer when they are being told they are rude for inquiring. I’m allowed to be frustrated that my confirmed reservation was cancelled and charges from UHaul on my debit card could not be located and refused to give the merchandise purchased without the researched receipt. Bad customer service for such a high priced storage unit. Let’s hope the rest of my interactions through out this process improve.Jami L. | First Impressions

The customer service staff are excellent. They were friendly and efficient at the initial booking, pick up, and drop off. Brianna and Cassie were both helpful and friendly. Brianna answered questions and helped book an installation for lights to my uhaul hitch. The Augusta personnel are the best I've dealt with in any uhaul location and competitors I used in the past.KENNETH S.

I set up a appointment on uhauls website and was confirmed for that day, i called to verify a few days before and was told they had received the parts but did not have anyone to install, so we reschedule and was told we had to drop off and it would take 2 hours 6 hours later it was done, but they could not find the ball. We had to use uhaul boxes because our storage unit reservation was not available despite calling days before to confirm. This was after our truck was not available after putting our reservation in with plenty of time.SARAH G.

The hitch installation was excellent... the only problem is that the salesclerk that presented the bill charged me double what it was supposed to be! What was supposed to take 2 hours at most was billed as 4 hours. I challenged the amount and after checking with someone else he reduced the price by 50%.Mark F.

Well I rent from you every week for my catering business, typically two trucks at a time. I keep getting a piece of shit vehicle that can barely shift with hills!! And this week it has a bad belt or something. It could be heard for a ways. I asked to switch and he was like nope. I was embarrassed to arrive at a $30,000 wedding with a horrible truck! Heather Poore is OUTSTANDING! First, she took my initial phone call, answered all my questions and made me feel comforted in having to handle a last-minute, unplanned move of my college student due to coronavirus. Then when I arrived from NJ the next day, her smiling face met me and she again calmly explained everything and got me set up. This is my first time renting storage; she was patient, helpful and didn't rush me. Then I made three trips to the facility in the next 24 hours. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the access to carts, the security, etc. I can't say enough about how Heather went above and beyond and how all the little things she did added up to reducing my stress in a time when I greatly appreciated it. Also, thanks for the one-month free for displaced college students. I thought that was a very classy and empathetic move by UHaul.
