Charged over $500 for keeping an extra 2 days. What a scam
Amanda E.You guys charged me twice and still not resolved. This was when this system was down on 4/18/21. It was showing that the truck was never returned.

francisco R.I believe her name was Donna and Seven were great. Only issue was equipment was not functioning properly and it put me nearly an hour behind schedule and i not only was charged for this hour but not given a discount due to that issue.
Robert H.Original trailer was squeezed into a spot the attendant could not get it out so I was given a different trailer and new paperwork. Upon trying to return after hours that evening, I discovered the paperwork was wrong and it did not have my name on it. I was unable to complete the turn I and had to go back the following morning. Almost 10 people in line and only one attendant at the counter working diligently. Finally someone was about to help me with my return.

Don T.Nichole was such a joy to work with! She set me up with a storage room, a trailer hitch install and a truck rental in just minutes. AND answered all of my gazillion questions and was still very nice! The storage room was SO CLEAN and looked as if it's brand new. It was a nice surprise to find a little "welcome" bag with a lock, a to-go coffee cup and a pen! I have a feeling this was a "Nichole" thing and it was a nice little touch. Thanks Nichole, and Uhaul on White Ln. This is the best location in Bako.

Bret E.During my trip with the trailer, I couldn't help but notice other U-Haul trailers on the road driving in the 3rd or 4th lane. As an experienced trailer driver, I am aware of the laws regarding driving with a trailer in tow. When discussing this with my wife, she was unaware that trailers could only drive in the 1st or 2nd lane. My suggestion is to inform your renters what lanes they should be driving in, with respect to what particular vehicle or trailer they are renting. Thanks!

Duane K.Truck was ordered for contactless pickup but had to go inside and waited for almost 30 minutes; this was exactly what I was trying to avoid. Our truck was dirty, beat up, zip ties broken on dolly and we were told we had 1/4 tank of gas which ended up not so. It appears the gas was siphoned the night before. Tried to call and was disconnected once and on hold on two different calls for 40 minutes each. Finally called the 800 number and chose the option for roadside assistance just to get a live person. Not a good experience at all.

Robin M.I ordered a van for 24/7 pick-up at 7 am. I arrived at 7 with required mobile phone and documents but when I checked in I received a message that I had to wait until the store opened at 9. When the store finally did open, I was told they don't offer that on the vans, though every single van was marked with the 24/7 sticker.

Philip M.Picked up on a Saturday morning, location under staffed, took way to long to get trailer. Dropped of Sunday afternoon, return staff polite and courteous but lacked skills to direct me where to go to unhitch trailer. Individual who unhitched trailer; lights, chains & hitch bolt, asked me to lift trailer off hitch. Not my job and I believe your protocol is your staff does that to prevent customer injuries. Your person, a female, was not strong enough to complete all of the task and luckily another staff member showed up who was able to remove the trailer from my vehicle. There should not be staff for pickup or return who can't complete the entire process. This is the first time I used this location, White Lane, as I prefer the Union Ave location. The staff at Union Ave is better in all aspects of the process. That is where I wanted to go originally but was sent to the White Lane location because of availability, again a negative to to rental process. I hope you pass this along to the White Lane location.

(She's great - give her cuddos)The others are just unapproachable, the communications between the staff is off, the booking system via app is a joke...you still wait 45 minutes to check out, even though you've frequently rented and are in great standing. Get it together or sell the business to a more experienced, hands on franchisee.

Brandon B.In general the uhaul locations were nice. The trucks worked well. However my overall experience with uhaul as a company in general was very disappointing. I moved from california to nevada in November 2020. I reserved my truck two months prior. I was called two days before I was due to pick my truck up to tell me they didn't have my size truck. I was not even offered accomodations. I was packing up a four bedroom apartment! I ended up down sizing and having to drive my personal vehicle to Bakersfield CA to picky truck up. It was not brought to me which was an hour an a half away. So it was like doubling back! . I was only able to take the most important things because I had the 10". Here we are again in March I finally was able to get my things from california. Only to be called again to have to stop in bakersfield to get a truck. And the only accommodation this time was an extra 200 miles which just covered my milage to my hometown to get the rest of my belongings. Very tiresome, very unprofessional as a whole and inconsiderate in my opinion.

When we called customer service while we were at the location Friday night they put in a note to put a discount on our account, or the place that next morning wouldn't have given us a discount. I'm very unhappy with U-Haul, I'm very unhappy with the entire situation. We weren't discounted enough and I will never rent from you again

SHE LIED TO US ABOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF PICK UP TRUCKS, she said there was no available truck at that time. So we went out, only to find out that all the trucks park in the parking lot was all available at that moment. We called Customer Service about what happen. She fight us while we we're trying to get a uhaul pick up truck. She talks bad to customer.

David H.I moved to a different storage after my roll up unit was BASHED -IN and forcefully PRIED open with lock intact. The thieves took a LOT. At the time 12/18/20 there were NO known CAMERAS viewing the storage units area. No one appears to actually occupy the front apartment-looking structure and there were often questionable persons of no apparent means wandering freely up and down among the storage unit rows I think some are living in storage units. I believe with the rental of vehicles and sales of supplies kept staff from proper monitoring of the storage units. I have chosen a new facility that does one thing; just rents out storages units. I was pressured to purchase renters insurance upon getting this unit in Jun/July 2020, insurance which is now asking for receipts of my stolen items and since I barely have any and clearly this insurance maybe wasn’t right for me I do believe such stipulation should have been pointed out as clearly as the pressure to buy it was. I am glad to see that many new cameras and high tech are finally being installed at the facility. I will use U-Haul again but I certainly would rent another unit only with great caution. Thank you

They were not able to get anything on camera because my unit was in a "blind spot". There insurance did not cover anything because the they stated that I provided proof of insurance. I did not have my own insurance. There was also some female living in one of the units at the time. They gave me 3 months free rent but after two months they began to charge me again. I was moved into a new unit that was by a camera. I kept my belongings there a short period longer and moved.
