Great customer service
I reserved a uhaul to use for my daughters girl scout troop for cookies. They didn't reserve the right vehicle and also put me down for a month rental. Donna the lady who I checked in with the day of pick up was very rude and argumentative about what I needed. She seemed very annoyed that I told her it was wrong and needed it adjusted. When the van came out to ke she sent me out without a rep to inspect it. Told me it's ready and i can go. When inspected the van I pointed out several issues including a cracked window. She again gave attitude and told me to go outside and someone would come to me. They guy I spoke with told me it's how they received the van and it is what it is and it has been noted there was a crack from a previous rental. My daughter's troop uses uhaul to pick up a large amount of cookies and take them to booths they are scheduled to be at. If this is how they treat repeated paying customer then we are more than happy to use another rental place in town for future rentals. Maybe she needs to be taken off the front counter and used elsewhere if this is how she wants to treat people.
Brady found a wiring problem in my car that needed repair before I could rent a trailer. He provided outstanding customer service at a very fair price.
I have used Uhaul for years and years and NEVER have I had to give a reference number, and then to actually call the reference number, and then tell me no reference number, no trailer...this is absolutely ridiculous.
I'm sending this complaint in regards to your policy about having to call a second person to verify on a rental. I have used your company for many years and always returned or paid for my rentals. I'm 54 years old and having to call my father to verify is frankly humiliating. I could possibly see why this policy would be required for someone who does not have a relationship with your company or who has in the past violated their contract. This is not the case with me. This seems to only be a policy at your Bakersfield, White Ln. facility. I've used others from Sacramento to Monterey to New Mexico. Never have I been asked for this. Please review this policy and change it so that frequent customers in good standing do not have to call their parents to rent equipment from your company.
Customer service was personal, courteous and felt like they truly understood my needs. There suggestions were right on point. I I appreciated all there recommendations and graceful patience they had eventhough the computer was slow.
Uhaul mechanic came right away and said fuel pump quit. Stayed with truck and waited for tow truck so that we could go home.
Inform if uhaul can be dropped off at any location.
I disagree with the need to call 2 references especially since they have records of recent previous business. Maybe a credit check might be an good alternative. Time consuming and many people just do not answer unfamiliar numbers. I have to rent again in a couple of weeks and have to go through that process again despite the fact they have made the calls before and with the record of successful returns.

The store tried to put scratches on the u haul my fault. Also the girl that was checking the vehicle in didnâ€™t know what a 1/4 tank was and was trying To get me To pay more. I know Next time to video tape The entire truck on every scratch it was a horrible experience
I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, absolutely no hassle. When asked about the damage to the trailer, fortunately I had timestamped photos documenting all damage. I learned from the employee who handled my return that the pick up facility had no photos documenting the damage uploaded for verification and remarked to another employee that they (pick up facility) should have never let it leave their yard.
never in my existing life will I ever rent from uhaul again, the people at the Bakersfield location committed fraud charged me whit damages that I never committed. if I had the time I would pursue legal action. I talk to management and they always ignored my calls. what a disgrace of a company. I should create a company and put u out of business thank again for ignoring my calls
I was told I would not be getting a deposit back when I was told by the location I rented from I would be getting it back so now Iâ€™m out $75, I will never rent from uhaul and I will let all my friends and family about what happened

Made reservation on-line because when phone lines are too busy at location they automatically roll to call center. Was give pick up location of White Lane in Bakersfield, CA. Showed up at 8am as scheduled only to stand in line 45 minutes and be told just go and get your trailer hooked up then come back and check out. Very frustrating. Had a 24 hour reservation (8am - 8am). Was told to return to same location by 8am Sunday, 01/26/2020. Showed up at 8am and office did not open until 9am. Really! Again, had to stand and wait around. Once office opened I stood in line to be checked back in. When I got to the counter it took the rep a bit to pull my reservation up because the rep next to her who checked me out the day prior noted "one way" when I clearly told her I was returning to the same location. Once we cleared the issue I was then told I'd have to wait because the lot person was by himself and not available to disconnect the trailer. I didn't bother at this point. I told the rep to finalize my paperwork and I would disconnect the trailer myself. I will not use this location again, and probably not use U-Haul again. I'm told by other customers who were waiting they've experienced same issues with U-Haul. As large of a company as this is, it should be better managed.
I've been renting from uhaul for years, getting way over priced! And to be honest false advertising too! Sure $29.95 for the truck but mileage is where you get dinged!
Uninformed employees. Truck that I reserved was not available, then the truck to replace, the employee couldnâ€™t back it out of the parking space. It took almost an hour just to get a truck, even though we had an appointment. Then when we finally got a truck, it had no gas in it. The original truck we were promised was still on our contract as â€œhalf tankâ€ so when we returned the truck, we were charged for not having it at half tank, even though we received the truck on an empty tank.
It was so busy in the morning. The staff was working hard, but we had quite a wait. Perhaps they need more counter help. They were all polite and knowledgeable.
Nothing. I always use this location. The employees I used this time, were so helpful, and courteous.
It took an hour to pick up a car dolly... even though I had a reservation, they hooked up the wrong ( could see no difference in the two) changed it.... The girl was on the phone for 15 min. Also, she left for lunch without getting someone to finish my paperwork... I finally figured that out and tracked someone down to finish.
The back of the truck smelled like weed when we picked it up. The people at the location we picked it up from didnt load the dolly equipment up into the truck, and originally told me they didn't have my reservation. And when I did receive the truck, they didn't do an inspection to make sure they noted dents that were already present. On top of that, the location I was supposed to drop it off at was changed yesterday. I ended up dropping it off late because I wasnt informed I needed to leave the keys in a drop box. I was charged for a whole extra day for waiting for the place to open to drop it off. I didnt realize I needed to check in online to drop it off until like 15 minutes before the place opened.
