I was in a bit of a hurry and they were 3 staff members working and only 1 was helping the customers. The CSR was very slow his name was Benjamin he asked a lot questions over and over again to the point that I was already very flustered with the process. I rent from Uhaul in the past and I never had any problems but this time I was very upset how long it took and wasn't even greeted upon my arrival and it took way to long to rent the truck I had it back in 15:00 minutes and it took 30:00 minutes to check out the truck.
I had several miscommunications that delay my rental for 24 hours.
The inside of the truck was definitely not cleaned. It didn't feel sanitized. I also saw someone return a truck and then hand the keys to another customer (without sanitizing the truck). They definitely do not care about keeping customers safe from covid at this location.
when i first went in to reserve the u haul i had over the top service from a gentleman named Benjamin Lazaro, i've never experienced that type of service in a work place such as this especially where the individual isn't working toward a tip. so i think this guys deserve to be pointed out and recognized for this customer service he provided me. thanks Mr.Lozano very much from me and my family the Yasania's
I felt no improvement needed
Oil light on vehicle. Returned it and second vehicle's oil light was on also. Employee said they couldn't give me any other vehicles because they were reserved. My vehicle was also reserved. But that didn't matter to her. She said it was okay to drive and if the engine blew up it was uhauls problem. Second issue was it only had quarter tank of gas. She said they don't put gas in them it was my problem. I had to stop and get gas just to get to the other side of town. Very unhappy with the lack of care to details.
The staff member that did our paperwork was awful. She could not keep her mask over her nose and was coughing frequently. In this pandemic, I find that very scary and it makes me anxious. Also, she could not complete the paperwork without having me log in and out of my uhaul account multiple times. She didn't know what she was doing until another staff member told her what to do. The other uhaul workers I encountered were wonderful and helpful.
Staff was very friendly. The agent who checked in the truck was very polite and explained everything.
they charged me for damage that I did not do, it was really nothing also, they did not assist me in looking over the truck damage when I picked it up and I did not notice that that tiny scratch was there but I figured it was not worth reporting because of all the other scratches on the vehicle which they did not even care about. Horrible service they did not even instruct me on how to work the trailer. Contract 88142312

Counter Help is S-L-O-W... Yard help has No Interest in doing any Job and it shows!!! Sad that this is one of the best stocked stores with equipment in Bakersfield 1hr.+ to pickup a trailer and I hooked it up, 1/2hr.+ to drop-off trailer and I unhooked it and put it away, Sad that such a great Company is run So Poorly

They should keep a record of frequent customers so they don't need to call two different people for references. Most people don't appreciate these calls.

I was told the Chevy van I rented was FWD, when it was real wheel drive! Subsequently I put the snow socks on the front wheels on the van, which nearly resulted in an accident on an icy road in the mountains. Rep needs to give accurate info.

It was raining and the wipers left smears as they worked. The inside of the windshield was dirty almost like a light fog from not being cleaned; In the rain when dark, it was really dangerous driving the truck. When we were unloading the next day, the boxes on "Mom's Attic" were all wet when we unloaded them the next morning causing a couple of them to dump out our contents on the concrete (All I got was a "Sorry"). I ended up having the truck an extra night because of this and had to have it back early (Because it was "Reserved" and got charged 2 days? This is not right.
