I was in a bit of a hurry and they were 3 staff members working and only 1 was helping the customers. The CSR was very slow his name was Benjamin he asked a lot questions over and over again to the point that I was already very flustered with the process. I rent from Uhaul in the past and I never had any problems but this time I was very upset how long it took and wasn't even greeted upon my arrival and it took way to long to rent the truck I had it back in 15:00 minutes and it took 30:00 minutes to check out the truck.

To get my UBoxes delivered to me on time, Alex went above and beyond to not only get them delivered to me, but kept a good flow in getting them to me since they had to be delivered individually. He did a TREMENDOUS job!! On top of that he was very pleasant and curious!! Alex, they need to give you a raise!! You did a great job and so appreciated your effort to get this job done!!

I moved to a different storage after my roll up unit was BASHED -IN and forcefully PRIED open with lock intact. The thieves took a LOT. At the time 12/18/20 there were NO known CAMERAS viewing the storage units area. No one appears to actually occupy the front apartment-looking structure and there were often questionable persons of no apparent means wandering freely up and down among the storage unit rows I think some are living in storage units. I believe with the rental of vehicles and sales of supplies kept staff from proper monitoring of the storage units. I have chosen a new facility that does one thing; just rents out storages units. I was pressured to purchase renters insurance upon getting this unit in Jun/July 2020, insurance which is now asking for receipts of my stolen items and since I barely have any and clearly this insurance maybe wasn’t right for me I do believe such stipulation should have been pointed out as clearly as the pressure to buy it was. I am glad to see that many new cameras and high tech are finally being installed at the facility. I will use U-Haul again but I certainly would rent another unit only with great caution. Thank you

The inside of the truck was definitely not cleaned. It didn't feel sanitized. I also saw someone return a truck and then hand the keys to another customer (without sanitizing the truck). They definitely do not care about keeping customers safe from covid at this location.

when i first went in to reserve the u haul i had over the top service from a gentleman named Benjamin Lazaro, i've never experienced that type of service in a work place such as this especially where the individual isn't working toward a tip. so i think this guys deserve to be pointed out and recognized for this customer service he provided me. thanks Mr.Lozano very much from me and my family the Yasania's

Oil light on vehicle. Returned it and second vehicle's oil light was on also. Employee said they couldn't give me any other vehicles because they were reserved. My vehicle was also reserved. But that didn't matter to her. She said it was okay to drive and if the engine blew up it was uhauls problem. Second issue was it only had quarter tank of gas. She said they don't put gas in them it was my problem. I had to stop and get gas just to get to the other side of town. Very unhappy with the lack of care to details.

The staff member that did our paperwork was awful. She could not keep her mask over her nose and was coughing frequently. In this pandemic, I find that very scary and it makes me anxious. Also, she could not complete the paperwork without having me log in and out of my uhaul account multiple times. She didn't know what she was doing until another staff member told her what to do. The other uhaul workers I encountered were wonderful and helpful.

they charged me for damage that I did not do, it was really nothing also, they did not assist me in looking over the truck damage when I picked it up and I did not notice that that tiny scratch was there but I figured it was not worth reporting because of all the other scratches on the vehicle which they did not even care about. Counter Help is S-L-O-W... Yard help has No Interest in doing any Job and it shows!!! Sad that this is one of the best stocked stores with equipment in Bakersfield 1hr.+ to pickup a trailer and I hooked it up, 1/2hr.+ to drop-off trailer and I unhooked it and put it away, Sad that such a great Company is run So Poorly

I was told the Chevy van I rented was FWD, when it was real wheel drive! Subsequently I put the snow socks on the front wheels on the van, which nearly resulted in an accident on an icy road in the mountains. Rep needs to give accurate info.

It was raining and the wipers left smears as they worked. The inside of the windshield was dirty almost like a light fog from not being cleaned; In the rain when dark, it was really dangerous driving the truck. When we were unloading the next day, the boxes on "Mom's Attic" were all wet when we unloaded them the next morning causing a couple of them to dump out our contents on the concrete (All I got was a "Sorry"). I ended up having the truck an extra night because of this and had to have it back early (Because it was "Reserved" and got charged 2 days? This is not right.

why does U-Haul have to call a third party to verify rental? if my CC goes through & drivers license scans and I have a long history of rentals with U-Haul shouldn"t that be enough?

The gal at location was not the most pleasant person to represent U-Haul. She seemed pissed she was there. The truck 10' was very dirty exterior and interior it took 15 Clorox wipes to get the dirt off steering wheel.

Could be a bit more honest with your rates. A 19.95 rental turned into more than $100 for less than 24hrs returned to the same equipment pickup location. Local rentals should include a set number of miles and then charge per mile over.

Everything was great, customer service excellent. I would recommend having two people able to assist at the register. One person to assist clients with reservations one to assist clients that haven't registered. I registered ahead of time but had to wait inline behind customers trying to decide what truck they needed to rent. It to a large gap out of my time.

My unit was tampered with once and broke into the once. When they broke in, they totally ransacked everything. They were not able to get anything on camera because my unit was in a "blind spot". There insurance did not cover anything because the they stated that I provided proof of insurance. I did not have my own insurance. There was also some female living in one of the units at the time. They gave me 3 months free rent but after two months they began to charge me again. I was moved into a new unit that was by a camera. I kept my belongings there a short period longer and moved.
