I reserved a 5' x 5' x 4' Locker on April 5, 2021 with a May 8, 2021 move in date and Monthly Rate of $44.95, to store my personal items from my college dorm for the summer. When I showed up to this location on May 8, 2021 at 4pm, I was told that all of the lockers of this size were already sold and was given the option of 5' x 10' Storage Room at a monthly rate $79.00 or nothing. When I asked about my reservation, I was told that regardless of the reservation it was first come first serve. I have never heard that this policy was used by U-Haul and it would negate the policy of using reservations to "hold" a storage room. After waiting 2 hours, there was only 1 representative working at this time when this location was extremely busy and the representative stopped helping me and made me wait until she had helped the other 7 customers in the store before handling my situation. She ended up giving me the 5' x 10' Storage Room with 1 month free and no solution for June, July, and August.Anise M. | First Impressions

I rental a small 1 bedroom truck for 19.99 roughly around 4:30 pm after waiting for an hr in line. The hold came up to 48. Plus included tax. I returned the truck around 1am. So that's before my 24 hr return mark. When I arrived to return , I tried using the app or website to return the truck and it wouldn't accept the mileage amount after submitting the pic the website told me to snap. I took the truck to the corner gas station .. I put 15.00 in gas and it was well passed the amount needed to return the truck and yet my account was charged an additional 58. Dollars even more than what 48. Initial charged was. The manager whom assist me was sweet , he was tired but was moving as fast as he can yet .. my charges was due to the errors on the website when returning the truck. So what would make everyone experience better with this location is first , correct the bugs on the site and change that silly mileage gap when returning the truck because it makes no sense. Oscar was very friendly. I was a little surprised that the gas was marked down at a lower level than received since we gassed up the truck before dropping it off. Absolutely another terrible experience. Was charged a total of $64+ for a 24 hr remtal of a small 5'x8' trailer. Included in the charges were a furniture dolly AND a utility dolly â€” neither of which did I receive or ask for! I originally reserved the trailer online for 24 hours. When I got to the location the customer service representative shared that the program estimated needing two days for the move and wouldn't allow him to keep just 1 day. He said I would be able to be reimbursed for the extra day at my drop off location if it was still in the 24 hour window. When I dropped off my trailer, I was informed that I would be charged for the full 2 days even though I turned the trailer in before the 24 hour mark. This location was very helpful - UHAUL as a corporate system was quite frustration. The system was down so my equipment was not where it was requested, I was on hold for over an hour with no response, no help, and absolutely unacceptable answers once I did speak to a customer service corporate rep. Have more people work the front desk. I waited almost an hour for my truck reservation. Ensure moving truck rental is fully ready before giving it to customers. My steering alignment was off almost 45 degrees. Obviously this raises a safety concern since I was driving the vehicle across states, but I was told it was the only vehicle they had available. When picking up the 15 ft truck, I noted the mileage on the odometer and wrote it down, not knowing the mileage was noted on the contract at the time. There was a 17 mile discrepancy, the 17 miles in favor of the rental pick up place; otherwise 17 less miles than the actual mileage on the odometer. Also, the clerk highlighted on the gas gauge of the contract that the truck had 3/4 tank of gas, when in fact after checking the gas gauge less than a mile after picking the truck up, the actual gas gauge needle was touching the right side of the 1/2 gas amount on indicator. I returned the truck with 3/4th tank of gas. Summing up my experience, I was shortchanged 17 miles when picking the vehicle up plus the fact I returned the vehicle with almost 1/4th more gas in the tank than what I received when originally picking the truck up. The clerk/salesman was very unprofessional. I would NOT recommend anyone using this UHaul center and will not be using it again, myself. Totally unsatisfied with my experience with them.Terry W.

This is NOT the UHaul preCOVID. I guess becoming a Essential Provider gave them a ticket to rip off anybody. They do not provide service they say they do. The UBox line awful. I have been charged way above the contract amount with them making changes. Plus they don't communicate changes. Your supposed to show up, take what you get, and stick in your payment card. From finding out the reservation was not put in correctly. Nor was the amount no where near what was quoted from your sales CS person. From having to deal with a store who couldn't provide the service I the customer was paying for. Getting a â€˜so called' loading company that the CS person signed me up with that the driver didn't have a valid drivers license. Everyone just blames someone else. I literally had a CS representative tell me to speak up, she couldn't hear me. Of which I said, if you'll turn the volume down on the cartoons that I hear in your background it would fix the issue. Never will I put myself in UHauls hands again. I now unfortunately will have to contact an attorney because they truly don't know what their doing anymore! ðŸ‘ŽðŸ¤¨KIM H.

* No clear instruction on how to gain access to unit before arriving at facility. Had to stand in line for literally an hour (only two other customers ahead of me) to speak to an employee while my moving labor waited outside on the clock. * Employee claimed the online reservation process was pointless, as they only operated under first-come-first-serve. What is the point of reserving a unit through U-Haul if you aren't guaranteed to get it??!! Thankfully a unit was available, but was on the second floor and had no elevator. * After getting my lock and unit number, I had to find an employee to unlock the unit as it still had a "customer-ready" lock on it. * The automatic sliding door by the unloading area was broken. Could only open it by literally pulling the doors apart. I get that I could've arrived on a particularly busy day, and the facility seemed to be very under-staffed. Even so, there needs to be a better process for handling simple equipment returns and storage unit reservation retrievals that doesn't involve waiting in line for an hour as one customer plans their entire move with the only available staff.
