the only problem I experienced was with your app.. it wouldn't upload any photos of mileage, gas ,or cleanliness of the vehicle.. I ended calling your toll free number and was directly to the website where I was able to complete my drop out... the associate was able to guide me throw the process ... but that experience made me extremely ticked off and I was getting really angry .. that's allGLENN B.

The Uhaul service representatives at this location were simply so pleasant, so helpful and patient that any concerns I had or may have had quickly dissipated; they took the time to explain in detail as well as show me anything I wanted to know about the truck itself as well as answered my general questions. When people order trucks to be dropped off at a different location don't blindside them by making them return the truck to the original location. Was told by your employee it's common practice for costumers to be treated this way and many have to return a truck from locations more than 4 hours away. So maybe don't do that because that's a really shitty way to treat customers.Paul H.

Returned with less mileage used than estimated and have still not received a credit. Also returned with a bit more fuel than when the truck was picked up and was promised a $15 credit. Called twice and was hung up on twice. Emailed the link given to contact UHAUL with any questions and concerns ... after over a week ... no response. And the truck sounded like a tank as it needs a new muffler. It did the job but not sure I'd use them again. Still waiting for my credit!TIMOTHY M.

make a wider area for drop off-When I arrived 10pm there were already 4 trucks parked and I wasn't sure where else to put the pickup I had rented except for back in the space it came originally come from. Maybe paint lines or arrows on the asphalt for where returned vehicles should go, and make lanes or numbered spots for them, bc ppl were just randomly parking them under the tent that was there. the spot for the afterhours key return colour perhaps. Unlike another U-Haul location that I went to, the experience with the staff in this location was very pleasant at both pickup and drop-off. If anybody asked me to recommend a place to rent a truck or trailer, I would give this location as my first choice. There is a U-Haul location within 2 minutes drive from my place, but I have found twice or three times now that I take the 15 minutes drive to come to this location. My experience in the store was very good. Both your workers were very kind and helpful. There are just two items of concern for me. When I got the truck rental I called in and asked if I could get the free storage promotion that was advertised. The operator said I could and reviewed both the truck and storage reservation and confirmed this. However when I got to the store they advised since I am not dropping off the truck at the store I would not get my first month free. If I would have known this I would have asked to drop the truck off or go with access storage which gave me the same unit size for half the price. I will call in to customer service tomorrow but would love if you could assist me. As well it looks like my access code does not work so I had trouble actually accessing the unit. I haven't actually been able to get a a chance to fully move in my unit due to not having my password work for 24 hour access ( even though I have paid for this service for the extra ten dollars per month. The gentlemen signing me in was saying he didn't know much about the reasons why he was not successfully getting into the place under my account for registration reasons and that he would fix it in mornjg and email me the information... I haven't bothered going there since every time I am in the area or off work or free from Xmas errands-get together and my bad timing it's after the office is shut down. The staff and management was great. However it should be noted that the booking process is frustrating. I had reserved a 5x5x7 unit which was $99 a month and met my needs. Someone from uhaul (can’t recall the name) called to confirm that I still needed the unit, I confirmed I did and was told a unit would be available. When I arrived on Saturday oct 31 for my check in I was told the unit I had reserved was not available and I’d have to take a larger more expensive unit. This is a bit of a bait and switch from a customer stand point. Again, no fault of the staff, but this should be something that’s ironed out from a customer experience standpoint on the website to allow for only what’s available to be booked or reserved. I’d rather get the value for what I’m paying for rather than be told I have to take a more expensive unit or find another location all together.Ryan E. | First Impressions

Staff are not very friendly or helpful . The manager is very rude and makes no accommodations of any sort. They do not have prorated rates and if u need to move out early this is very inconvenient. Late charges were also charged to my card because someone forgot to put the card number on file, when I tried discussing this with the managers for months all she did was send me generic emails including the extra charges on the bill. She is very unprofessional and rude. I reserved a unit in early September for the end of September. When my reservation date was nearing I needed to complete my rental contract and wanted to do that online. One of the reasons why I selected U-Haul was because they said that you could complete the rental of the unit online, which was important to me as I was out of the country and could not do it in person. I tried completing it via the website on my desktop, on my mobile, I downloaded the app, I checked every page, clicked on every link. I could not find where I could complete my rental. I wrote several emails to the customer service, who were not helpful. One sent me a link to an internal, employee page on uhaul.net when I asked for instructions on completing the rental online. Eventually when I got a hold of someone on the phone at the storage unit facility (the first time I got transferred to the generic 1-800 number, and that person couldn't help me) they told me that the unit I had reserved was not available and that was probably why I could not complete my rental online. I then had to take a larger unit than I needed and pay more money than I budgeted because by that time I had no choice. So what is the point of reserving a unit if it does not mean the unit is actually RESERVED? I would rather pay a downpayment to hold a unit in advance than to be told on the day I am ready for it that it's not available. What is the point of a reservation?? And on top of that, no indication whatsoever on my reservation that the unit was not available, so that I could at least look somewhere else or at another location if possible. We were not told about the free first month for storage. Less than a week after renting the storage unit we were locked out for non payment. After standing in line for 20 minutes we were told the lock would be removed, never received an apology for the inconvenience.
