The website should allow users to select multi-day rentals and confirm the pick up location in advance. If the location can’t be confirmed in advance, it would be helpful if other options were offered for users to select from, rather than only bring given one option. Each time the location was changed in this and prior rentals, I’ve had to call in to discuss it with someone and they’ve been able to get me a more preferred location.

I booked a one way truck from Barrie to Ajax. My online reservation kept changing to Nother time and location. I corrected it several times and called both locations to fix it. When I showed up there was no one way truck available and I had to pay extra and spend hours driving it back from Barrie. At a minimum I should be reimbursed for the extra charge and extra gas spent.

Customer service was very rude, i was guaranteed online that my reservation is good for 24 hours, when i arrived they started telling me that i can only get it for 6 hours and i have to drop it back at night, the lady was making lame excuses and kept telling that online things are not guaranteed. I told ok i will manage just to stop her talking soo much!! I had booked it for my business needs and i had to take it anyways later on it was much hassle for me to drop it off at 2am! I am regular customer of your who has never had a problem but this time i was really disappointed!

I was impressed at the selection of packing materials in the store. Staff was nice and working very hard to process all of the customers in a timely manner. I arrived early and was glad because of the line up, yet my wait time was much shorter than i expected and i was on my way with time to spare. The quality of the trucks, trailers and materials was noticeable. the car trailer i rented worked perfect and the service adviser took a minute to explain the operation and safety considerations. He also helped with the light verification on my circle check. Returning it was simple and easy. Very pleased and i will not hesitate to rent from the the Ajax location again. Richard Hill

The customer service was great but the equipment was not in good running order. I had issues with the trailer not being cleaned out and a short in the connection wire. Signal lights were faulty all while I used the equipment.

Hi there..i drove 24 miles total and i get my invoice and it charged me for 50 extra miles...worst part is i had to prove it myself that it was there mistake...good thing i took a picture of the mileage myself to prove it bc the lady seemed like i was lying to her...really not happy about that...also when the truck was brought to me the guy was clueless...i asked him if my dolly and furniture dolly were inside and he said i dont know...sure enough they weren't inside and i had to get them after...so twice if i hadnt inquired about my service that i ordered i would have been disappointed after after leaving...the lady who served me was helpful but everything after that wasnt really professional...please discuss some procedures with your staff there so things run smoothly..im plannimg om returning but i hope this doesnt happen again...

If the scheduling folks are changing the reservation, ensure at least the customer knows, call him/her, email, text - there are multiple ways to informing the customer. The online reservation confirmation did not match with the actual truck pickup time which was changed without notice. Wait times on phone are ridiculously high - I waited 1hr 30 min and was transferred 5 times to 5 different people and every time I had to start my conversation again, there is very poor information sharing on the inside. In between the call dropped and I had to begin the cycle again. The truck return was also very slow - over 25 minutes it took for my return when I was already charged on my credit card but the agent was not able to find the U-Haul truck on his wireless device. Did I get a 25 minute bonus? Obviously no, neither did I receive any monetary compensation.

The experience was good the staff was friendly the only issue I had was the truck I rented had a couple of minor leakes and a few of my boxes go wet. I would use uhaul again next time I will ask to make sure there are no leakes in the truck

Not sure you want us to comment... You changed the time on our reservation of a trailer from 9 am in the morning to 4 pm later that day. There was no way this was going to work at all...FIrst off you need to confirm what people are booking when they book and not a day or two before...Good thing I called to see if I could get it a day earlier cuz there wasn't going to be one at all for the move. The elevator was booked for an afternoon move in Guelph from Ajax...really people....we didn't have other options... What the ???? They finally offered me a 10' cargo van which luckily for us we had SUV's so we could fit everything we needed to in the vehicle to do the move once.... WE had furniture in boxes that measured 4' x 4'....and we're trying to save on the move by doing it ourselves.... Thankfully, I convinced them to give us the truck at a much cheaper rate only to pay that much in gas for the trip... In the future, if I was ever to use UHaul again...I want 100% guarantee that when I book and place an order for whatever...that it is 1000% confirmed I will get what I ordered on the day and time that I order or I will never use this company again! The frustration and uncertainty was not necessary and we were fearful that the truck wasn't even going to be available this morning as well. We are respectful customers that don't need to go through this unnecessary stress....! We brought the vehicle back ahead of the time we were allotted..., filled it up to where it was given to us and had it completely cleaned....properly parked and keys dropped off and noted some minor improvements (ie: black smoke out of the exhaust and running a little rough, probably just a good oil change and tune-up) for your next client to use... What more could you want from people....!!! All we asked was to have 1000% what we ordered and agreed to available...it really shouldn't be that difficult and no need to totally piss off your clients!!!
