I have sent an email detailing my horrible experience. The rude, disrespectful, and lazy workers were appalling. I have never been treated like that as a human being, much less a customer inside a business. There was one good employee. The two females were horrible. I rented a tow dolly to tow my truck the part that connects to the wheel was ripped and could have caused a very bad accident . You should not be renting out equipment that is not safe me and THE PASSENGER COULD HAVE LOST OUR LIVES DUE TO THIS !!!!

Key card did not work call several time about card spoke with manger did not get any results. Finally 2 days before I move out was given a card that worked . There was a nest int the storage complained about that nothing was done. I had a hard time getting into my staorage the lock was bent just one problem after another. I called main office no one seem to care. I just found another place to store my stuff., better and cheaper.

Nothing. Everyone at two locations in Akron were wonderful! Understanding, accommodating, took time to teach me about trailer hookups and answered all of my questions. They did not bat an eye when I needed to change my trailer pick up day and again to change the size of my second truck. Kind, helpful and much appreciated.

The easy check in process when the store is closed did not work properly. We were warned of that during our check out which means the facility was aware of it and has not fixed the error. It was very frustrating. We were also warned that the key drop process is sticky because the keys don't always fall down in the slot. We experience that and had to stick paper in there to knock the keys down further so that no one could steal the truck we returned.

Had check in after hours and was unable to locate barcode to scan in. It's not located in an obvious position, no signage to indicate it's location, and website extremely vague on location as well. I called the following morning to advise the issues I experienced yet manager refused to refund after hour check-in fee. Used location multiple times. Though this particular experience was less than stellar, I would still recommend.

Although I made my reservation several weeks in advance, still some items I requested were not available at the location. Also, I have to say that, while your trucks may do the job, they are barely drivable, and lack any kind of amenity whatsoever. Worse, my own truck had a pervasive smell of gasoline or exhaust in the driver's cab the entire time. Also, the steering response was far from tight. And I think it has been a long time since that particular truck was washed.

The use of the U-Haul app and onsite check in were so nice. I did all the pre use checks, walked inside and got my key and off I went. The return was just as easy

Strange drag race of some sort going on in adjacent parking lot so it was hard to hear and the attendant was obviously distracted. By the way, people had a mask around their necks but not in their faces. Glad I am done moving.

The vehicle I reserved, a pickup truck, was not available for over a week so I was put in a van. The customer service representative had a horrible attitude and when I showed him what I reserved he was rude and kept stating I get a van.

When I return the truck the girl had an attitude and was rude AF! , she said to me , "I'm waiting on u , I need to get in the truck" after just standing there staring at me ... it felt like like , uhauls policy is once u used the truck and are returning it's okay to be rude , because uhaul already got ur money, credit card no.

First off, I was told my Cadillac DTS would fit on this trailer. Upon pulling the vehicle onto the trailer, it damaged the front bumper of the car on the right side because of the lack of clearance. Brand new car, and now I have damage across it that I'm going to have to pay for myself, because I know Uhaul won't. I will never rent Uhaul again. And the Uhaul center employees in Akron were extremely rude, and all I was doing was dropping off the trailer. It was a Sunday, and the girls working obviously didn't want to be there. Never again, and I will recommend to ANYONE who is considering using Uhaul, to avoid at all costs.

looking around and seeing the employees, behind the counter, none were inviting or cheeerful. Some with an attitude The employee gave me the readout of the gas tank, which showed a quarter of a tank on paper and the computer just prints that as a default. I started the cargo van and the gas tank read E and the light was on, meaning EMPTY. I went back in and explained the van was on empty, The employee stated you won"t be charged the 14,99 for gas if you bring the vehicle back with a quarter or close to a quarter of tank back, So I explained that I have never had this absurd logic before, am to bring the Van back with more gas than what was in the van so I don"t get charged the 14,99, Very disappointed in the employee rational, Not just one employee.

Train your service workers to be more customer friendly. I walked into store not sure if Tasha greeted me. My first time rented a truck and I didn't know the process. After we did the transaction she left me standing at the register never told me I was complete never directed me to where the fleet was or my truck was located. She verbally gave me directive as if I knew where section G was in the parking lot.

The automated check in required me to go inside for the key. I stood in line for at least 15 minutes INSIDE. Maybe use lock boxes and send key codes via text for access.

I used the gas chart to put the gas in It was on7/8 of tank you still charged me another 7 bucks because it wasn't on 7/8 so it said, but I disagree, would have driven it to put more in but that made no sense and I was very tired and it would have added more mileage. very displeased I believe the mileage is off because the car that was following us, the mileage was off by 8 miles. Will not be using uhaul again unless I just absolutely have to. The clerk that helped me when I arrived was more concerned with her play list than up loading my DL. I understand that work standards are lower theses days but it is annoying for people to be otherwise occupied when you are the guest. Personal Cars lined up to be cleaned out. Not happy with the experience at all.

The truck was not clean inside. The “check engine “ and “service TPM” lights were on, A/C did not work and rain leaked in around the door. Steering wheel was shaking at highway speeds. I paid $450 to rent this truck for a 4 hour drive!!! No more Uhaul for me!!!

The ABS light was on the entire time I ran the vehicle. More than likely, just a sensor issue as the van ran fine. Upon the return of the vehicle, the check engine light came on. I reported both issues to return agent but she seemed less than interested.

My reservation was at 7:00am, and I was a little early. When the employee arrived, he opened the store, and did not waste time checking me in. He was very polite and helpful, as was the female who checked me in when I returned my truck later. Thank you very much to the both of you for making a difficult move easy!

Truck was parked too close to next truck and employee did not care to pull it out for me. He did after my disappointment. Second time dolly was not in truck as paid for. Employee went to get dolly then puts it behind a trailer out of view and I waited 10 mi utes before asking where is the dolly. She could have said something per good customer service like here's the dolly

The customer service is excellent! The box truck that I rented, however, needs to be put down. It was in horrible shape! The fuel gauge is broken, which almost led to me running out of gas on the expressway. That truck physically has seen its best days—great AC however.

Young lady at front counter was very friendly and helpful, her demeanor was appreciated. Returning after hours was confusing. The bar code to scan as proof of location was tiny and difficult to locate. Was unsure whether truck was to remain under canopy or moved to a parking spot.

When I opened up the truck there were 5 large pieces of furniture left in the bed. I tried to call the stores location and could not get ahold of anybody. Also gas was left well below a quarter tank, and there was trash in the cab.

Truck was running like the manifold was loose. I drive trucks for a living and have rented from you all in the past. It was the worst running truck I had driven yet. It was sticky and dirty on the inside. Cigarette butts not even cleaned out. Just really nasty.

On a trip to storage noticed mouse droppings. I mentioned it to staff who put some poison in. When I went and removed all belongings a short time later there was mouse droppings in everything. Apparently what they use for rodent control doesn’t work very well.

The employees would leave the inside of the store while they had a line to the door and no one was servicing the customers. One employee answered her personal phone in the middle of helping a customer after the customer waited in line for almost an hour. I had a reservation for 1:00 I did not leave the facility until 3:40. The employees were arguing with eachother in front of the full line of customers also there was no manger on the shift. All 3 employees abandon the inside of the store multiple times. This occurred on May 30,2020

Other then climate control or indoor units, the only think that would help is light in unit to look for items if need things after dark. Over all very nice unit and I'm sure one of the indoor/lit units may be my next choise.

Website says access till 10 pm on Sunday. Access is only until 5. Cost me $200 appliance sale. When I mentioned to the girl how the incorrect info was on the website, she said " I don't run the site.
