Was pleased when we booked with the girls help. We didn't get the dolly like requested and the guy that we dealt with on the third day of rental gave a bit of attitude over it. He finally gave us credit for it. When we returned the pick up, the clerk that checked us in (Billy) I think was a jerk and the girl that was there wasn't any help. I asked for the total for the three days. He stated that I would have to call coorperate. I still am not sure what we were charged for all three days We rented a box truck for two days and a pick up for a day. When I asked about the discount that it states if you use your services for more than a day you get. The kid snipped at me we don't do no discounts. Really disappointed in the end

Vehicle was first rate...no complaints. However, THOROUGHLY DISSATISFIED with both pickup and drop off service. Pickup: 1. Vehicle a parking lot walk away 2. Windshield heavily frosted...nothing to scrape away ice for safe visibility 3. No orientation by attendant as to how to use key fob. Assumption that customer would figure it out. Drop off: 1. I was 4th vehicle in a line of vehicles that all sat in line for 30 minutes(!) without any movement as two employees attended to customers inside. After leaving line to go inside, endured another 15 minute wait to finally complete drop off. All of this after having utilized U-Haul's app for “convenient” pickup and drop off.

"Hello everyone, just want to clarify I've been a customer for more than 40 years, with U'Haul, and they are a great business/staff, both Commercial and Individual/Personal Customer Services, etc. and they have been both to me." This is a high recommendation to add during the winter months only, Long-Handled Ice/Snow scrapers as Standard Safety Equipment, for iced window; it took more than 15 minutes to defrost, in addition to burning unnecessary gas cost. When mentioned to staff they laughed, considering theft would prevent it; however, brushes should become mandated/standard safety equipment (like car rental companies provide) - no cost. Assign a replacement value/cost, such as hotel mini bars, if used/detached, the way dolly's are, and returned no charge, if not charge. The height of those windows are a problem too even if I had a brush, thus the need for long-handled brushes. I hope other customers reviewing would also consider this need and/or are not unprepared as I was and with no option to get a brush; and wasting idle time.

I was not told that if I dropped uhaul ofd at a different location that I'd have to pay almost $100 to do so. I scheduled to drop uhaul off at East Akron instead of V Odom and that the extra money would be refunded back to me. Very unhappy and down almost $100 because if it when I would have just taken it back to V Odom location.

We showed up about thirty minutes ahead of our scheduled pickup time to get some questions answered. The attendant at the desk was knowledgeable and personable and made the entire process very easy and enjoyable. The truck was perfect for our needs and well maintained. My brother, who was the primary user of the vehicle, did note an odd experience when dropping off the vehicle in which the attendant instructed him to leave the keys sitting near the desk for check in later on. This led to some conjecture as to when/if the vehicle would be checked in promptly and without issue. Luckily, all turned out well. But, I would recommend this practice not continue in the future. It opens up too much liability for all parties.

This experience was awesome. Tierra handled my check-in, hitched up the trailer, and taught me a couple tricks for towing while she was at it. What a pleasant and great employee. The location was clean and easy to get to also, and the trailer was in perfect condition and made the trip with no issues. Nice work.

I was happy with the service I received from Uhaul but the truck used for moving was very difficult to drive! It was a tow haul truck! I was not hauling anything! In the future, unless I am hauling something, I will refrain from using that type truck!

The UHAUL I used smelled terrible, essentially like a smelly bathroom. I would have returned it, but I was under a deadline. In light of the current pandemic, please, please, please make sure your trucks are cleaned & sanitized. Thank you!

To begin with, my reserved truck was not at the Wooster rd in Barberton as suppose to be. I have never seen a more filthy disgusting office in my life. Then I got transferred to V odem location. They didn't have a dolly available. I was not able to use your phone return truck application. I am not good with computer stuff. I called the number and their was a waiting line to get to my call and my phone went dead. I originally told a man on the line when I order the truck everything we had to move and he said what size I needed. Well it wasn't big enough so we had to make two trips causing me to return the truck after closing hours. I called the next morning to see what I owed and was shocked. They charged me for a 2 day rental. Not a satisfied customer at all

I had no issues with the brick and mortar establishments but had a huge issues with the third party u-haul locations. I ended up having to cancel my entire order and had to go into a store and redo it. The site and app are not user friendly and cause lots of confusion and headaches. I feel like the app and website are relied on too much for how poor they work.

My "contract" did not arrive in my email until 10;21 am on Sat. Nov. 21. I was already driving the truck by then. I had no knowledge of the refueling requirements, however, when I picked up the truck it only had 1/2 a tank of gas in it. .I thought that unusual but since the printed paperwork that I had said nothing about refueling I thought it must have been built into the cost of the rental. I also ordered an appliance dolly which I was informed that they don't have at that location so I had to wait for the attendant to remove it from my bill. When I returned the truck on Sunday (a day earlier than scheduled) I was informed that I needed to fill the fuel tank. I told the attendant that the truck only started out with 1/2 a tank of gas in it when I picked it up. She told me that her paperwork indicated that it had 11/16 of a tank in it. Almost a full tank. Since I did not have the contract ( to my knowledge) I didn't have a leg to stand on. And I didn't know I was supposed to take a picture of the gas gauge at the beginning. I had to take the truck to the gas station and put 22 gallons of fuel back in it @ $2.15 a gallon. I feel like this was not a good experience for me as a first time U-Haul customer. I am very disappointed in how this all played out. Unless I get some recompense for the terrible customer service I am afraid I will not use U-haul again for any reason. I am too busy to have to jump through hoops.

Everything inside the body of the truck was clean, the back was dirty. The truck sounded like it was on its last leg - the check engine light was on. The girls inside were very helpful. After hours return was a nightmare - couldn't find the barcode and then had to wait on hold three separate times trying to figure it out. The employees upon pickup were wonderful.
