The tires on the trailer were junk, it was constantly bouncing and causing heavy vibration like the tires were flat spotted or severely out of balance. At certain speeds it was so uncomfortable to tow and made the rear end of my truck noticeably bounce. The gentleman who was running the location when I picked it up was amazing though, super friendly and 10/10 customer service on his part.

Shaq & his staff earned a 10+. The level of service,, courtesy and knowledge was very clear with the info on the rental trucks. They were all very friendly, professional and helpful. Ricardo was excellent too! It’s a busy location but I was never rushed. The building/storage I eventually rented was very clean and it remained that way at all times. What I found incredible was how they maintained a public bathroom so clean. Movng is one of the biggest stressors one can experience and Shaquille Davis and his team definitely helped me get through a tough time with a smile. I have recommended this location in particular to friends, family and will continue to do so because I truly can say I had an EXCELLENT experience with U Haul at the East Orlando location because of Shaq…..thank you! First, the location at Alafaya is the most horrible location for a Uhaul. The traffic in the area is incredible and you need to move across so many lanes of traffic in a large slow truck. Not very convenient or comfortable. The staff is pleasant enough.

Take better care of all equipment leaving your stores. I had a blowout, a leaking brake line and a taillight out. Very nervous since this all happened on day one.

Charged for an extra day due to facility being closed at drop off time. Charged for fuel when the gas tank was never full to begin with. Asked to show proof of drop off time and advised them to pull up cameras. Was advised their cameras are for their usage not the usage of U-Haul. Eventually refunded day after going back and forth. Next time I’ll take video and/or pics of gas and I’m not sure how to prove a vehicle was dropped off

Looks like they may need a little more room, but the staff on the lot were excellent to deal with and were able to move trucks and trailers around easily. Friendly staff and fairly quick process makes this a great place to rent from.

The system was down at the location when we arrived and they struggled to find our reservation. We rented a 5x8 trailer and the tires on it were almost 6 years old and bounced around so much that the trailer sounded like it was going to rip off the truck. It has a disclaimer of “minimum tongue weight of 160lbs” yet the trailer is empty when you get it so it moves too much. Had to add cinder blocks when nothing was in it just to keep it from bouncing everywhere.

Where to start…staff here are great and laid back. The location itself is very congested. We also rented a storage unit here. Getting a large 26’ UHaul truck back to the storage loading area was tricky and had staff back truck out to avoid hitting any of their vehicles. Would have been easier if there was a way to get all the way around the building. The location itself is rather small, and they are dealing with a lot of units on the lot, and have to block a lot of storage unit access to deal with the volume of equipment on their lot.

The storage part of the location is fine. The staff in the office are very friendly and helpful. However, the location is too small and congested for the amount of Uhaul equipment on the lot, which leaves very little room to get in or out for loading/unloading into the storage lockers. Though it would be costly, it might be better if Uhaul would either store some of their equipment off site, or entirely move the equipment rental operation to another location.

The gas fee is ridiculous. The gas line didn’t match up with what as on the paper. I ended up spending more on gas than the actual truck just to go 5 minutes up the street.

My agreement with Uhaul was 1 month free rental of a 10x10 storage unit per truck rented. I rented 4 trucks. Uhaul required that those rentals be in 4 different locations. Absurd!

I had an amazing experience with the storage unit. The hours were adequate, the access was quick and efficient and the dollies made it very Easy to move everything in and out of storage and to the moving truck. They provided a desk clock and the storage unit was clean, smelled great and had a great temperature for everything that was in storage.

24 hour access was not working, the check in boxes were not working very well ever. My unit was first overbooked so I ended up with a smaller unit than I needed. One worker was very rude to my father when he was trying to park due to virtually no parking spaces available. I will never be back to this location or U-HAUL in general.

I was generally pleased with this facility but would like to comment on the fact that the main access door was broken and unavailable when I went to empty out the unit. This made it very difficult to vacate the unit. There was a small side entrance available but and it was just a nuisance and inconvenience. I’m sure it was a temporary thing but I didn’t even see any staff making an effort to fix the issue.

I booked a unit online, then received a call a few days before move in stating that it had been overbooked and I no longer had a unit. The associate who called said they could get me a bigger unit and a month free which was great. I thought everything was resolved and my move in date was scheduled for July 16th. Upon arrival to the office on July 16th, it turns out the unit had been scheduled for move in on July 13th unbeknownst to myself. So, I now have to use a much smaller unit and must stand up the couch I needed to store vertically. The only reason I am giving two stars is due to the manager attempting to make up for the error by giving me the first month free. If not for that, I would give one star. Regardless, I never plan on using U-Haul storage again.

Some of my items in the storage were damaged from the heat and humidity in the unit's when the AC broke down for 4 or 5 days. But they gave everyone a month free for the 85+ degrees. Outside of that, the staff is great and very professional.

roaches all in my outside unit and the A/C as broken during check out having the workers work in hot air. Just the overall worse experience ever. I had to replace a lot of furniture and wash every piece clothing I owned spending excess money that’s I didn’t have. Then when I got to try to access my outside unit there are uhaul trucks blocking me from exiting .

2nd time using this storage facility and anytime I have clothes, sheets, dolls in the unit, they always come back with mold on them. I had sheets there to cover up my other things and when I removed it on the day of the move out it had a huge black stain.

I rented outside storage and on many occasions my unit was blocked with uhaul rental trucks if i needed access before 7pm they moved them for me but after 7pm I was unable to use my unit

Storage site has animal problem, racoons size scat found all over my belongings. Half the time I had to go to office in order to get to my unit due to code errors. One time a payment was never ran, even though I had autopay, wanted to charge me a late fee. Always chaotic and hectic in the office. Had a left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing feel. Obvious high turnover at this location. Will not use u-haul again for storage.

I did not get my refund for the month of October. I had checked out before the end of September and I still got charged for the month of October. I had called the customer service number they had put into the system to get my refund and I never did. Also, I never go a phone call back about it! Someone needs to fix this.

The only Issue I had was being charged after I had sent in my move out pictures and information online and then the process wasn’t finished on uhaul end. Sending me and my mom notices That I still owed money after I moved out

The entirety of the property is too small and unsafe for customers in every way possible. Trucks and vehicles are double parked, there is no space for turn around, and no space for parking in general. No assistance was provided in accessing my unit and dollys were not offered for use. This is the worst experience I’ve ever encountered at any storage facility.
