Not triple call me and command me to bring a truck back when I wasn't finished with it I'm clearly paying for it and if someone had a reservation behind me uhual should have more trucks to cover their customers I was a regular uhaul customer up until this rental I will never rent from uhual again horrible experience I will defentially be renting from penski from now on shame on you to the uhual employer that contacted me very unprofessional and rude and she even hung up the phone in my face!

The wheel straps have frayed edges which are hard to put in the slot on the rachet to tighten down front tires. Jimmy was excellent to work with. He made pick up and drop off effortless.

I have rented several times. Each time I called early set up a time to pick up the trailer. When I picked up the trailer it only took 5 minuets to sign the paper work, the trailer was hooked up and I was out the door in10 minuets. GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH

The employee at the register was unable to enter the "alternate address" in the computer. I almost walked out. After an hour another employee took over, and within 5 minutes everything was completed.

I was really disappointed in the team atmosphere ... there were 5 of us waiting for the store to open 9am, a woman unlocked the door and from then on I didn’t see her again. I was 3rd in line and didn’t leave until 9:40am and that was with me even doing the online check in. I felt bad for the 1 guy at the counter because he was all by himself. Whoever the woman was, I hope she isn’t the manager. This should not be the type of customer service that is considerable acceptable. The gentleman we had tried his best to speed up the process. I felt bad for him that he was abandoned to work the counter alone.

Checked in on line and still had to wait 45 minutes to get the trailer. Associate who helped me was friendly and apologetic about the wait. Other associate really wasn't able to assist customers except to pull trucks up. This location is usually much better than they were this visit.

The employees were doing a Yonan’s job despite the dated poorly maintained equipment. Your infrastructure is not in order. Your fleet is not maintained and fully functional. This was my 2nd rental and I must say this rental was very disheartening.

The staff had everything in order when I went to pick up the truck. The final cost was what was quoted and the service tech who inspected the truck when I returned brought in my I-pass. Great place to rent a truck.

The experience was difficult to say the least. I used a recommended moving assist company and half way through the move one of the movers quit. I had to unload the truck with the remaining helper) When I didn't get the truck returned by 3 a uhaul employee called to see when I would be returning the truck and proceeded to say in a loud voice " YOU HAVE TO GET THAT TRUCK BACK HERE NOW" Then when I returned the truck I asked to speak to the person who talked with me on the phone and he basically said the exact same thing to me again . He was very RUDE and IGNORANT to me both times. I have owned my own business fore over 30 years and If one of my employee talked to my customers in this manner i certainly would like to be informed.

You should be more honest with customers for a small truck the price was 19.95 plus mileage and I drove 40 miles and was told it would round out to 70. But of course at the end of the day I paid 123+ dollars. Talking about false advertising. My thoughts are I would use you again I feel cheated.

The truck I reserved was not there when I went for pickup. Was told my reservation was cancelled not by me. Then told my size truck was available at a different location about 10 miles from where I live. Settled for a smaller truck. Employee that was preparing the truck never told me he was done cleaning it. Waited extra time for no reason to leave. Would have expected better customer service since they screwed up my reservation.

Our original location was changed due to the vehicle being blocked in by cars. Glen, the customer service rep, was outstanding. He was very accommodating and apologetic about our experience and made sure to accommodate us and gave a better rate due to the situation. I give him a fantastic rating

The service men were very sloppy and not helping. I didn’t even my transaction was done until he asked me “if i needed anything else”. When i returned the truck, no one helped me. I had to find the guy and he just took the keys. I didn’t know if anything was needed from me and if I had to stay for the evaluation. Finally I had to ask and he said “nah i got it”. These ghetto ass workers are horrible and ruined the whole experience. I go to Uhaul alot But this was my first, and last time at the Alsip one!!

Organize yourselves. Give customers what they ask for and PAY for. Make sure you have equipment available at the time you reserve it for. Be more polite. Dont make the customer feel like a burden when you make a mistake

Overall when visited the Alsip Location is a great representation of your standards/ the Manager Diana- exonerated Superior Leadership:m. She is attentive, very Perosnal and hands on. She’s works WITH her team leading vs dictating. However, this location is extremely busy. They need more help. Even if you could zero in on the high traffic days and provide more hours for her to staff the location appropriately. The staff is a direct reflection of Diana’s leadership. But please note- people today are in the move- Vince the huge serge in online sales as a result as well as the dying trend of brick and mortar as a result of the same. But you are a SERVICE-type business. I’d rather talk to a live person to iron out the deets of the service you provide vs. deal with an online process with multiple pages and too much information to sort thru. This is the ONLY downfall of your organization. While Diana and her staff are amazing- they can’t fix “limited payroll budgeting” it’s important to also NOTE-uHaul is NOT an independent SOLE business. Competition is vast. The ONLY thing that sets you apart for your competitors, is your unique ability to retain customers by CREATING & maintaining a superior customer service EXPERIENCE. This INCLUDED being able to expedite traffic spikes when needed. Your Signature Customer Service will secure you LOYALTY , Referrals and most of all when a location is staffed properly- associated & customers alike are generally happier. Happy associates =happy customers! Just this Saturday, though I had reservation, I watched Diana and the young man working with her jump between terminal to terminal working 2 simultaneously & expediting your services to get the huge line down. While it was GREAT to watch them multi-task to take care of ALL of the customers? As a retail executive myself, I couldn’t help but feel sorry they were left with no other resources. It was a 2-man band and they handled it phenomenally. PLEASE compliment Diana!!! You don’t see workers now days going to such extremes to expedite customer service in the manner they did. While we waited, there were several customers complaining in dismay that they were not properly staffed. Despite it all-you should be proud to know this team at Alsip did a tremendous job amidst poor coverage on a very busy day. I live on the east side- But stayed at this location because of their ability to make my interactions with them special. Please get them some additional support. I guarantee you, your Sales trend here will improve if you do! And please please commend this Diana and her Staff!! 15yr storage renter since 2004!!!
