Inside of 6' x 12' box trailer needed to be swept out after we opened it up and before loading furniture. Outside of this issue service was very good!

David M.This probably is a U-Haul corporate issue, but please stop making us repeat every question we already answered online. It takes too much time and when there are 5 people are in front of you in line… there goes 20 minutes of your rental time. Also I tried checking in the trailer when I was in the parking lot and the app is poorly designed. I do t have time to debug it for them to enable sharing my location. Although, I did figure it out and it still didn't work. After a long day of moving boxes I really didn't need to waste another 10 minutes of my day while exhausted.

Casey S.I started out with less than 3/8 tank of gas and have a receipt from that same hour on the same day from a gas station right across the street for $104.25. I was told by the clerk to return the truck with that same amount and I did so on April 28. I didn't see on the paperwork that I was expected to return the truck with a full tank of gas and I have a pending bill from U-Haul for $74.00 NOT HAPPY This was very deceitful and low class. I am glad that not all U-Haul sites are as crooked as this one. That attendant/clerk should be told about this and reprimanded so it does not happen to someone else to keep a great perspective of the nice job that U-Haul does. Thank you for this opportunity. Garry W.Told gas was full only had 3/8 of a tank. It was taken care of. Cables were wrap up around door wheels at top. Door wouldn't close. Called and mechanic came out but couldn't fix it. I disconnected cables and used it anyway. Told u-haul dealer in Independence Mo. and he said he would send it to the shop. He was very pleasant to work with. A little overlook and care would go along way in Ankeny.

When I picked you the trailer, Michelle was very busy but pleasant and friendly. Great customer service by the team at this location.
Michael H.Prefacing this with the fact that the in-person customer service that I experienced was good, my overall experience was below average. I reserved a 9' cargo van. Upon arrival I was told that the last cargo van was “reserved by corporateâ€, and I was instead given a 10' truck. The driver side door wouldn't properly seal, and on high speed roads there was a constant sound of air whistling.

Paul D.I had to go 30 min out of my way (extra 60 miles total) because the location (Cedar Rapids) that I reserved my trailer didn't have one. I also didn't get a dolly that I requested in my original reservation. Overall disappointed in experience. Not Coralvilles or Ankeny locations problem but Uhail problem.
Debbie M.The trailer I rented had no working running lights which caused me to park at a gas station for 4 hours until the sun came out. When unpacking my belongings I noticed the trailer leaked during the rain causing my $900 recently purchased mattress to be soaked. So….my advice would be to make sure the lights work and that the trailer is waterproof prior to renting them out.
Rod W.If you reserve moving pads, someone shouldn't be able to come in and rent all of them all leaving you without pads even though your reserved them ahead of time when you booked. Very dissatisfied because I depended on having those moving pads. What's the point of the reservation of materials then. I've never had issues with other companies with this. Chris A 5157794143

Joshua B.Charges are confusing. Make it clear what the customer is paying and why. My total was $40.17 I was charged $60. I'm not sure if that $60 was a deposit or if the difference will eventually be refunded, but either way it was confusing.
Andrew P.Car tow was not hooked up correctly and the alignment was off so it was a very dangerous drive. They took a cash deposit and didn't put it on receipt so I never got my deposits back. Overall I will never use uhaul again.
Mariah D.The in person customer service was great! The mobile check out SUCKS!!! It wouldn't load, tried several times, called customer service, was told it was a 35-45 minute que. People rent Uhaul trucks to move, which is typically a huge deal. The last thing I needed to deal with was the $20 charge threat if I didn't use a mobile option that didn't work. The folks at the shop were great and the truck was in top shape. I would definitely rent from them again.
