I made a reservation a month in advance, but even still, the truck wasn't available and I had to pay an extra $220 in fuel because I couldn't change the date. I wan't been available to get a discount because of the change. I will tell people to avoid U-Haul because they don't honor reservations made weeks in advance.Matthew G.

I was scheduled to return the Uhaul truck at 6:30PM which meant I needed to do the online return process, but when I needed to take a picture of the fuel level and mileage the app and/or website would not allow me to take a photo on my phone so I could not complete the online return process.Luke R.

Mechell Beacham did a very good job with getting my rental van. She went above and beyond by helping me when the location had just closed. She was working in the yard and trying to finish her day. The trailer door did not operate well. The taillights were falling out of the back of the trailer. We had problems with the trailer in Sioux City, Iowa, and the Uhaul location just blamed my truck.Lori S.

This probably is a U-Haul corporate issue, but please stop making us repeat every question we already answered online. It takes too much time and when there are 5 people are in front of you in lineâ€¦ there goes 20 minutes of your rental time. Also I tried checking in the trailer when I was in the parking lot and the app is poorly designed. I do t have time to debug it for them to enable sharing my location. Although, I did figure it out and it still didn't work. After a long day of moving boxes I really didn't need to waste another 10 minutes of my day while exhausted.Derek D.

Again, the UHaul check in process was awful. Ended up leaving my key in an open box because I couldn't get into the key drop box. The pick up/drop off via phone is a joke.Kris J.

I started out with less than 3/8 tank of gas and have a receipt from that same hour on the same day from a gas station right across the street for $104.25. I was told by the clerk to return the truck with that same amount and I did so on April 28. I didn't see on the paperwork that I was expected to return the truck with a full tank of gas and I have a pending bill from U-Haul for $74.00 NOT HAPPY This was very deceitful and low class. I am glad that not all U-Haul sites are as crooked as this one. That attendant/clerk should be told about this and reprimanded so it does not happen to someone else to keep a great perspective of the nice job that U-Haul does. Thank you for this opportunity. Told gas was full only had 3/8 of a tank. It was taken care of. Cables were wrap up around door wheels at top. Door wouldn't close. Called and mechanic came out but couldn't fix it. I disconnected cables and used it anyway. Told u-haul dealer in Independence Mo. and he said he would send it to the shop. He was very pleasant to work with. A little overlook and care would go along way in Ankeny.dennis A.
