I was originally to pick up my trailer at the Uhaul at 10:00 am at the Uhaul Moving & Storage of Fort Jackson at 5604 Forest Drive. No one was at that location even though they were to open at 9 am. The front door said "open" and I waited until 10:30 and was eventually diverted to the other location on 125 Decker Blvd which was several miles away. I ended up missing my appointment in Spartanburg South Carolina due to the incompetence of the management at 5604 Forest Drive, I feel like I am due my $20 refund due to the inconvenience I suffered.

The female representative appeared to be untrained with store systems. I waited almost 20 mins in line just to return my rental. Other guest behind me complained about the wait time and the rep being untrained. She had to call someone to help her almost 3 times on one transaction. Poor service

The rep who started my reservation over the telephone continued to have “system issues” which made the process longer. When I arrived to pick up the truck, she had to redo the order. It took over 30 minutes via telephone and then another 30 minutes to complete in-store which wasted a lot of time. My payment was difficult as well and she had to manually enter. I don’t feel she was knowledgeable because “system issues” are an easy escape for unfocused individuals. Additionally, the truck latch jams which causes the door to roll past the safeguard. This took over an hour to troubleshoot and unlock in which only a very small pair of hands could do. This was a great risk to my daughter and I feared her hands would have been jammed or worse by the latch. It continued to malfunction every time. Please lubricate the patches and locks. That is routine maintenance.

The only complaint I have is the securing the card. When the hold was put on my account, it wouldn’t allow my card to take the rest of the balance for whatever reason. I had to go to the ATM to get money out to pay my balance when I returned the truck. However, Kershawn Green was a very efficient associate and provided excellent customer service. He made the frustrating experience much easier.

Internet took over two hours to process contract. Service by the people was great, equipment in good shape. UHaul internet is below quality, uhaul corporate needs to correct this issue or customers will walk away from this location. The service outside of internet was great.

This is my preferred uhaul location. I literally drive past three different locations to exclusively come to this one. The team of people that work here are truly exceptional, always have a smile on their face and get things done expeditiously.

I wanted to rent my truck from the Forest Dr.Drive u-haul, this store is not and was not convenient. However the service was good. Training a new employee made the time factor not good.

It took an hour for your systems to accept my credit card when I picked up the truck. I was overall happy. Then I was told I needed to fold the pack blankets or be charged a dollar for each one. What the hell for? If you're just going to wash them, forcing me to fold them is asinine. So instead of leaving a happy customer, I left pissed off. Thanks it's not like moving was stressful enough I had to deal with this petty crap.

RUDE customer service. As I rented to transfer stuff for an engagement ceremony and they forced me to return. My son has to leave ceremony to return. They kept calling even I said he is on way. Later he threaten me to call police to file stolen vehicle. WHF? do not ever threat me you dummy. What a bunch of loser working at this location. What kind of complaint you were going to file? I am not an stupid.

I was very upset that the UHaul had an AC problem and the transmission seemed to be in bad shape. When you would accelerate, the AC would go out. This was not good -- especially when moving furniture in 108 degree heat.

The only drawback I found was that we were using a 20-ft truck and it was VERY TIGHT negotiating the turns. Also our particular locker's fastener bit was broken.

I am very upset with the fact that the monthly rent was increased so frequently. My initial payment was ~$69 but soon went up to ~$95. Completely ridiculous. I cannot recommend in good conscience.
