I was lied to about the fuel gage, mileage for the tow truck as well as the locations of my equipment causing me to drive around for 40 miles collecting it all before I can actually start moving my belongings. I will never use u-haul as. Service ever again or recommend it to anyone. I was charged extra money for the mistakes of the workers. This is not how a business should be ran. I should not be driving to 5 different U-Haul locations collecting the equipment I need. That's the work of the organization not the customer. I don't work for you.Nicholas R.

The truck was dirty on the exterior, the interior was clean other than the windows, I had to personally clean the windows due to the fact my vision was impaired from what was on the inside of the windshield. Second I was given a trailer with a nail in the tire and discovered this after I loaded my car onto the trailer at home and noticed the flat tire myself. This is unnacceptable PERIOD, I'm glad I found the flat tire on the trailer, while parked in my drive way instead of on I-77 as the tire would've exploded. This could've caused damage to my personal property or even worse could've caused me to wreck and god forbid could have cause serious bodily injury or even death. The trailer Equipment should've been good to go before I even left with it. Another note on the trailer I was rented, none of the parking/marker lights were operational on the sides or the rear, the only thing that worked on the trailer were the brake lights.I'm glad i was daytime driving and not night time driving, by the books no working marker/parking lights on a trailer or vehicle is illegal. The wires for the trailer were damaged prior to service on my haul they need to be replaced before that trailer goes back into service.JACOB J.

The truck itself was clean, but the gasoline marker mask marked incorrectly on the paper and we realized it while driving off. Also we had to add additional milage due to tuning after a dolly. This is no the first time it happened with uhaul (different location last time) all this was an inconvenience during an already difficult move.GABRIELE W.

Tire pressure light was on in vehicle, was confirmed with location as a broken sensor that would not reset (unclear why it was not taken for repairs?). There was debris (wood scraps with rusty nails) left in the truck bed, had to throw that out before loading my furniture in it. There was a face mask, lighter, and keychain left under the passenger seat (not great dealing with a stranger's face mask during a pandemic, clearly not really disinfected or cleaned before being rented again). However, truck was drivable and full of fuel. Overall, average experience.Erica P.

This location was great, but your website/ordering was terrible. I reserved a trailer and the location I chose (NBC Auto Sales, Decker Blvd) did not get the message, but the other location at 125 Decker Park Road did. My Confirmation also listed NBC Used Cars, but the other location actually got the order.Scott N.

Nice rep at counter. Windows to van was dirty. Good location however it's next door to a music studio. Too many men hanging outside smoking, a scary situation for a female returning after hours. Upon return I forgot my phone and couldn't complete the after hours return so I was charged and wasn't aware that I would be. I attempted to call uhaul to explain, 20 minute hold. Also went back home to get my phone but already turned the keys in so couldn't compete. Someone needs to notify customer not to drop off after hours alone and not to leave phone because you will be charged regardless of the hassle it was for them sending me to location to location since where I reserved did not have the truck I reserved.CHENEDA H.

I rented the equipment online at a different location, 6000 Garners Ferry road. Upon arrival, APP was not working and nobody was at that location. U-Haul customer service redirected my reservation to a different location, more than 10 miles away round trip. I paid 0.99 center per mile. But the operator gave me $5 discount on the rate. Got a email and text saying where and when to pickup the rental pickup. Got a reservation number and confirmation a couple days before I had to rent my truck to make an important trip. The store they told me to go had no rental truck in stock even though they had my reservation on file. Said they had no idea why they booked me for a reservation when we didn't have any pickup for a couple days. They had me pickup another truck from another store and ended up costing me 20$ extra. I get that online booking isn't the best option even if it's the company's website and not some 3rd party website. Really threw my day off though and put in the pit for money. Was expecting more from a reputable company like Uhaul.Justin C.

I returned the vehicle after hours. Without informing me, the return location changed to a different store from when I reserved the drop off location to match a storage unit I rented. This was a disappointment, and caused confusion, as I had received a call from uhaul attempting to change the location but then was assured during the call by the representative who called that the location would not change because of my storage unit rental at the original location.Craig S.
When made my reservation online I sent to 9005 Two Notch Rd. to pick up eight foot pickup truck to learn that this location do not have pickup truck available for a 2pm pick up. Then I was rerouted to a location on Decker Blvd. which is longer than I wanted to pick up a truck with 0.79 cents a mile I was in a bind so I rented the truck at 4pm to pick up gravel only find out that the place closed on me forced to returned the truck without doing what I needed to get done.Leon H.

The service was friendly, and the representative was easy to work with. However, the check-in process was very slow. It also took a while to check out. I've been able to do this a fair bit more quickly at other locations. This is why I rate this location as ``above average" rather than ``excellent".Matthew B.
My lock was changed with no correspondences to let me know. On my move out date I couldn't get into my storage with my current key. I walked to the office to inform the person on duty that my key was not fitting my lock and it looked as if a key had been broking off into my lock. I asked was there anything he could do or if he could cut the lock off my storage. I was told that Uhaul do not cut locks and I would have to call a locksmith. I asked if I had the supplies could I cut the lock myself because I needed to get my stuff out. I was told by the employee that it was my lock and yes I could cut it. I therefore went to Home Depot to buy bolt cutters for $26+ to cut the lock. It took 1+ hour to purchase bolt cutters and cut the lock from my storage ( a lot of wasted time that my people had to wait to help me move my things). Once we get the lock off and started to grab things my current lock is lying on my furniture. I therefore tried it with my current key and it opened right up. Now I'm upset because I was not notified that it had been changed, I contacted the office and the person wasnt helpful he didn't even walk to the storage to assist or inform me that it had been changed. I had to spend extra money and extra time getting into the storage. I took video of the storage and the locks. I also had a little water damage on my stuff. I rented for 2 years and it wasn't bad considering it was an outside storage however Im upset and need to be reimburse for spending the money and time due to poor customer service. If only I had noticed that the lock was changed I would not have spent extra money on bolt cutters and my movers having to wait over and hour for me to cut the lock. Please keep your office staff up to date on changes, had your staff known that the locks had been changed all of this could have been avoided. I have the cutted lock as well as my current lock as proof if anyone would contact me at 803-743-8360.
