I reserved 3 furniture dollies and 1 set of 12 blankets. Neither were ready when I went to pick up the truck, and only 1 furniture dolly was available. I had to wait over 25 minutes to get this refunded and then I had to purchase 2 more furniture dollies. The sales representative lacked any concern or urgency about the issue. Additionally, the truck's steering was very loose and added to the difficulty of driving it.

First of all, my rental was changed to a facility much farther away from my home and new home where I was moving. U-Haul didn't even notify me of this change. When I got the email with pick-up instructions it still had the original location. Thankfully I read thoroughly and down near the bottom of the email it noted my location had changed. When paying per mile it is extremely aggravating to have to pay additional mileage simply because U-Haul could not get the vehicle I needed to the location that they let me select. Why even let me select a location if it doesn't matter? Second, I specifically was told that my pick-up would be contactless. Its a freaking pandemic. I get there and go through the online check-in process to find my vehicle on the lot just to be told that I need to go inside and get the key from someone. When I went inside to get the key I had to wait in a line of people not socially distancing. I get to the counter to meet someone who seemed displeased that I had started the check-in process online. Somehow doing what every email told me to do inconvenienced them when I was simply trying to do a contactless check-in. So overall - DO BETTER. If you claim contactless check-in/pick-up and drop-off MAKE IT CONTACTLESS. If you are going to make someone pick up a truck 10 miles farther than the original pickup location don't make them pay the $20 for extra miles just to get the truck and drop it off.

When a customer is quoted a price tell your reps to stick with that price, I was charged double what I was quoted. When a customer tells you where they want to drop off don't change it and even attempt to charge them more

You can't because when there are more than a couple customers coming & going there just isn't enough room in the driveway off the street to where the fence is that restricts entry to what I suspect is storage building access and rental truck parking. The truck was fine, although the air conditioning did nothing so I drove with the window down. And the poor lady at the counter could have used some help as I was behind one person and there was something going on with someone in the phone. Quite chaotic.

They employees are great but your on line system must come out of the Stone Age. It took me 4 tries to get checked in on line. A customer tried to bring it up in the store and couldn't . You need to fix it

My location was changed from Rock Hill to Pineville without any notification to me. Had I not checked just for no reason on Friday night, I would've showed up at the wrong place, and all my movers would've been waiting on me. I also had to drive the truck 3 times the distance because Pineville is so far from me.

The lady had bad attitude with me without any reason, they rather be talking around instead of helping customers, I won't be going back to this location and I definitely not going to recommend this place to my family & friends! Please inform each costumer the process Of returning your equipment. I was charged an extra $100 for a lock smith because we left the key inside of the vehicle. If your employee would have explained how to return we could have prevented the extra charge.

Unfriendly staff that may charge customers for fueling wrongly. When I stated my case, I was told brushed off. Had to complain to UHAUL corporate to rightfully get my money back. I hope it was a one time thing, but I would not recommend anyone to go to this location.

Equipment worked pretty well, cleaned, and well maintained, but the lady who works at the front has a poor attitude and is not afraid to talk bad about customers or complain about work. Made me really uncomfortable. Other staff seem nice but hopefully it will be better.

It was the Best, fastest and efficient check out I have ever experienced. Nicole was friendly, she lighten the stress of a moving day! Drop off easy we pulled in dropped used equipment off and done! It was a drive from Waxhaw but the customer service was worth it. Highly recommended.

My turn in time was 12:30pm. I called to see if I could get some more time since my movers weren't done and she said sure no problem at all. We decided on 1pm. The movers moved slower than I thought and I returned the truck at 1:15-1:20pm. And they charged me for a second day. I can understand a late fee but a whole day for 20 mins late is nuts. Maybe a late fee?

SO many issues trying to rent, access and utilize our rental unit. The only person we encountered at this facility who was VERY FRIENDLY and helpful was DON! If it weren't for him, three different times, we would not have been able to access our unit, due other staff members errors!

General Manager jumped in to help with difficult disconnect of car trailer. Need instructions on where to enter if dropping off trailer tow and truck in two separate visits...final truck drop-off well organized for after hours, but first drop-off for car trailer undefined and with multiple entrances with no way to backup because of busy hiway created dicey turnaround situation.

My experience with my storage unit can only be rated as below average. I've never had a bad experience with Uhaul but this new experience makes me change my opinion because I had damages. I made my payments on time for the duration of the time I needed the storage facilities. But the day I moved my furniture out of both of my units. I noticed alot of my furniture was molded and some were completely ruined. And of course the insurance coverage I paid for each of my units doesn't cover that form of damage. Not to mention they were climate control facilities inside a building So not only did I waste money on insurance. Now I have to purchase new furniture.

Was not able to checkout the truck online, the website wouldn't let me complete. Had to go inside to get help, attendant at the counter was rude and had a bad attitude. When I returned the equipment there were trucks blocking the entrance, had to wait until others moved their returning trucks out of the way. Was not told I could just leave the keys on inside the truck until after I went in to ask the attendants. Overall, very poor service, unorganized and small parking space for customers,

The drivers seat actually smelled kinda bad. I rented a 10' truck with an appliance dolly. I expected the dolly to be in the back but there was no dolly to be found when I got to where I had to go and opened the back. I had then drive to a friends house to borrow their hand truck which I had to pay for the extra miles. Not the best experience.

There's no way to do mobile check-in at this location so that was frustrating. The checkout process was bad too. The app kept crashing and wouldn't recognize submitted pictures. It took several tries and 15 minutes to make it happen.

I ask for a truck with low miles, I was driving alone for 2900 miles across country, female 75 yrs old. They had a lot of trucks on lot did meet my needs.. truck was not clean dirty windshield and inside cab dirty..again didn't they didn't care. They could have accommodated me better.

2 hours before I was suppose to pick up my pre rented truck, they called to tell me they didn’t have that size truck and I needed to go from Pineville to south Blvd. which took almost an hour with traffic. Good morning- Chuckie and his team were great all the way around! I had an unexpected and immediate need to move belongings with nowhere to take them. They helped with pricing out trucks, moving materials and even unit size based on my needs. The only issue I had was warmer than expected climate control areas near glass front windows. The elevator to the second floor was not working for over a week so I had to carry my items down stairs at the end of the building. Called the office to advise and they kept saying how to press the elevator button quickly after swiping the card. Eventually they came and tried themselves and saw it wasn’t working.

Our lock got removed somehow, and the staff locked the unit when they found it open. He are happy they secured the unit, but we wish they had notified us that something had happened.
