GEORGE CThe truck was absolutely horrible. It was filthy with some kind of black dust inside. I was late getting to a charity event to deliver 3000 gifts to autistic kids and didn’t check everything. Got there to load the gifts and had to spend a hour fixing the rear door because it wouldn’t operate. A wheel was missing and door was off track. Then we found that the passenger door didn’t open from the outside so someone had to climb over to open from inside at all 52 stops around the city. Worst experience ever.

JAGADEESH YUpon dropping off my 20' truck w an attached tow dolly I got stuck at the gate and couldn't back up. A young man (employee) came out and assisted me by pulling the truck in & while inside the office the young lady was super friendly offered me a bottled water

Amanda BThe individual that I picked up from was great had the truck ready and warm. When I dropped off the lady was very dismissive, I wanted to get a receipt and get the equipment checked in, she told me to leave the key and she would email me a receipt , I still do not have a receipt I used less miles than was originally charged, no idea what the final bill was. Again the xperience to start was excellent then the return process was poor.

OSCAR DThe employees at this uHAUL are VERY helpful and knowledgeable. Once I started using this facility I’ve never gone anywhere else bc of their exemplary service. I recommend this place over any other uHAUL in the Charlotte area.
SHERI SJust a bit slow in the check in process, only one rep was on site at open. When I returned the truck at the location, I was again waiting on one clerk but a serviceman on the side nicely offered to take the keys to complete my checkout (~12:45pm, 15 minutes before my estimated time needed). I haven't received a final bill which looks like is only 3 miles more than my estimate of 30 miles so hoping to have this soon so I can have it off my mind.

MILES MLocation okay and employees kind and helpful. Had some difficulty with process though. When I arrived, couldn’t find assigned truck. Was quickly assigned a different truck when I went into office. Started process online, but couldn’t upload pictures and finish check-out using U-Haul WiFi. Employee said to just take pictures and the time stamp will help if needed. When bringing vehicle back, waved over to parking spot, but no one stopped by for check-out. In office, employee just said okay you’ll get an e-mail receipt. All worked out well this time even though processed seemed disjointed.

No one was answering and then my money was withdraw out of my account. I never access the storage room. I had to take off and drive over to the actual store and the customer service Jamal B was very rude questioning me as if I did not call when the notes was on the account that I’ve been calling to cancel the storage. The young lady that was at the store was very helpful and nice and found the notes she needs a raise for her customer service in person experience. as for Jamal B, very rude, no consideration.

Then they lost the key. The refunded my card and I have not heard from them since. I have been renting units here for probably 10 years now. They should be paying me, because I know more about what goes on here than anyone working here.

So, rating now while in the process of concerns may not be a correct rating. I would rather wait to see how well the issue is resolved and then rate your services and people but it forces a response. Thank you. My name is Kristie Huddle. I just cleaned and checked out of two Uhaul units on Lancaster Hwy in Ballantyne. I checked out earlier than expected because my movers became available yesterday. My receipt number is 954038-113186-194827. I paid $681.80 early on June 22nd for the units for July rent because I didn't want to be late in paying or forget as I have a lot going on with a cross country move The front desk gentleman told me he cannot issue prorated refund and to reach out to you. I have also reached out to Uhaul. My reference ID Number with Uhaul is 4846867. Evidently, I had until July 2nd, 4 days from due day of June 29th for a refund. However, my movers were not available until July 3rd, the date I moved out...2 days past cut off. I arrived today, July 4th to clean and check out and was told the $681.80 I paid on June 22nd for July rent was non refundable nor prorated. I'm asking if you could please, at least, prorate the units as $681.80 for 2 days of rent is a lot of money. Thank you.

That's not what they said via the BBB. I was told if I didn't like their overpriced rates, I could take a hike. It's too difficult getting in and out at this facility. All of the card swiping is annoying. I had to swipe the card at least fifty times getting in and out of Building C. Plus, it is a tight location, difficult to maneuver. At one point I entered at the wrong gate and was asked to back out. I had to laugh.. I can't back a trailer, and no way could anyone else on that road what with all the traffic.
