Overall I always prefer to use this location. On this occasion, it did not go so well. We loaded up our trailer and took off like normal. We got to our destination and there was a lock on the trailer. We had to go back to the U-Haul and they said it was from a previous customer. It was extremely frustrating as we had to come back and spend more money in gas and waste more time in driving and waiting for them to cut the lock off. I always thought they were supposed to check the trailers once people dropped them off to make sure they were cleaned out and have them ready. This was clearly not the case. When I showed back up, I was honestly expecting them to be more sorry about the situation and realize how inconvenient it was with my time and money spent on gas. They didn't say much and sent me on my way. With as much business I give them, I expected something different.LUKE L.

I downloaded the app and selected this location specifically so we could grab the truck and go but the app is absolute trash. Failed to work at alllllllllll times. My comments are for U-Haul corporate and the booking process, you should show they actual availability on the website. I had to visit a location, and call corporate twice in order to guarantee availability for the time I wanted. Make the website like Expedia. Choose date, time, location, and make your selection based on real time availability rather than this ability being in viewable by corporateLuke B.
I am going to give ' above average' because of the patient young man who waited on me after I leased the unit online. When we arrived, the unit we leased was locked with someone else's lock and blocked with a car. However, the young man at the desk apologized and said that unit should never have been listed as available (their system assigns open units) assigned me another unit & then when I decided it was too small, he changed me to a larger unit, all very patiently. He walked me down to show me where the unit was located and how to used the key pad entry and explained the unit alarms.Sheri S. | Online Move In
Error-free pickup experience at the Beavercreek, OH location. 15' truck was mechanically sound and the vehicle was clean. All my questions were answered and I was able to complete my entire move in less than 30 hours from Oh to Fl.Phillip B.

We made a reservation for a truck to pick up near us, dolly and blankets, and a storage unit at our drop off. We were contacted and told our storage unit was actually not available, then called late the day before truck pick up and told that we had to drive 35 miles away to pick up our truck instead. Then when we picked up the truck we were told we'd have to find out own dolly and blankets as that location had nothing. We ended up having to make a lot of extra steps in our move because the website allowed us to make reservations but the reservations didn't seem to hold. Be aware of this when making reservations.Paul H.
The unloaders I had scheduled through uhaul were over an hour late. My family had an appointment we had to make so we ended up unloading the majority of the truck ourselves. The unloaders were here for less than 30 minutes and only moved a couch and a dresser. We did everything else ourselves because we couldn't be late to our appointment. Could I please have a refund? Unfortunately your facility rented me a 10x20 storage unit with a leak in the roof. Now I’m out thousands of dollars for ruined furniture and household goods. I moved here in August from Arizona, and reserved a room at the facility by calling the national number. About 15 minutes or so after setting up the reservation, I had Dakota on the phone, politely and regretfully explaining that the national system hadn't synced with his facility, and he didn't have any rooms of that size available. I still remember what I said to him: "That sounds to me like a U-Haul problem, not a "me" problem, call me back when you figure it out." I remember that for two reasons: because I felt particularly clever for coming up with that on the fly, and because Dakota didn't deserve it. He did "figure it out"; he found two rooms of equivalent size, as close together as he could. He was pleasant, and sharp, and responsive that day, and every time I've had to come to the facility since. I've done a fair number of moves because I'm in the military, using U-Haul vehicles and storage regularly. Of all those interactions, Dakota stands out to me in a sea of U-Haul employees who were almost unfailingly good, he was just plain awesome. I can't tell you how much I appreciate his efforts to take care of myself and other customers, and he's an asset to your company. You're lucky to have him.ANDREW N. | Overall Experience

Actually we have not left the facility only moved to another unit. So far the Facility is in a convenient location, is accessible during hours needed, and appears secure. Compared to Storage Inns of America, UHaul wins. I was in a bind for moving and UHaul had only one space left so I took it. Had to get a 2nd space at Storage Inns of America. When I went to move this weekend, the UHaul storage area was mice free and no sign of any rodents at all. At Storage Inns of America, there was so much mice feces, my couch and chair and a half are ruined. I called the manager at Storage Inns of America and after explaining what I discovered and the damage to my personal items, no attempt was made to make it right to me. The one thing UHaul could do in the unit I rented was to slap some paint on a place where there was water intrusion at one time and has been fixed since. When I arrived there was no storage unit available for us that we had reserved. I called the day prior to coordinate us unloading due to Memorial Day the movers could assist the following day. The rep assured no issue and no charge. The next day there was no unit, staff was rude, they cancelled our unit despite our call the day prior and blamed us for the coordinating issue. There was a unit vacant after 45 minutes of phone calls to other locations. Our unit has a broken gutter directly above it. Check in process was excellent. There were several people checking in at the same time, however the owner was calm, efficient and professional throughout the experience. Did not feel rushed, and was still able to get checked in very quickly. Content was completely infested with stink bugs. Had to throw 99% of our belongings away. Was told by the employee that I should have bought the insurance because “at least you could have got some money for your stuff”. Really?! The two girls that run the office are AMAZING and very polite, accommodating and helpful. My issue is the amount of nails, screws and broken glass within the secured area. And the number of parked trucks/trailers also within the secured area. I actually had to ask for a new unit b/c there was always a truck/trailer blocking the lane and I couldn't get in. Also, oodles of nails and screws laying all over the pavement.
