Your cost per mile is crazy high. I imagine if you charge a higher base rate and way less per mile you would do more business.

Nothing to do with the location. They were great. However, I think it's ridiculous that UHaul can advertise a truck @ $39.95 per day but the mileage starts at the curb with nothing included. A $39.95 rental turned into $200 plus tax with a trip from Bedford to Truro and back. I will be using another company next time. I wanted to pick a truck up in Sackville but none of your outlets could accommodate me.

Paying/billing was a little confusing, and the 1 month free from using a rental truck isn't very clear and was a little difficult to set up. Nothing crazy, though.

Bedford location told me (when I asked) that the Ottawa drop off location would be open and staffed on Labour Day. It was not open or staffed. I was disappointed and would have preferred to speak to someone in person in Ottawa (Breezehill Drive location). Equipment was fine and the service was just fine otherwise.

I have no suggestions for you at all. I rented during an extremely busy time (back to school, end of the month, etc) and the location reflected that with a large number of customers present. The employees were facing some challenging customers/situations and from what I could see, they were handling everything very well and doing whatever they could for everyone. I had a fast, smooth check in and check out. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I have nothing to say for improvement

Very congested very little room to manoeuvre a trailer to offload contents. Requires better flow of traffic possibly a paved drive around the building or a larger parking lot for rental vans and trail

The UHaul application is really really really bad. It does not work. Everyone in the app store/google play store is complaining about your app. I was almost sitting there for an hour trying to get through the application to rent the van. Finally I was able to complete the application through the Chrome mobile browser. It is a complete waste of time to try to use the app. Please do something about it.

We needed to travel 1700 kms with this trailer and the customer service guy seemed confused as to why we would ask about a spare tire. He kept saying he didn't understand the question. It was beyond frustrating. He seemed really bothered by the inquiry. "I don't know what you mean...we only rent them ai don't know anything about them" was his answer. I have dealt with Uhaul lots over the years and never a problem.

After a hectic morning of being behind schedule before a 4 hour drive with the trailer attached to the truck, we were told we “couldn’t drop off the trailer” at the location because he “didn’t have room on the lot” and was sent to another location in a unfamiliar place which ended up being just a “pick up only” and sent back to the previous location. Once arriving there the worker refused to take the uhaul on his lot due to size of the trailer until we contacted the 1800 number and then visibly made it clear that he was unimpressed with having to take the trailer. So after a bad experience in the morning, then driving around a unfamiliar place for a hour in rush hour with a trailer being sent location to location was easily the worst moving experience for us wishing we went with another company.

This was actually a nightmare experience. The one and only elevator was extremely slow to begin with when we arrived. Wasn't really that surprising due to multiple people moving in and using it all at the same time. The odd thing was that the door opened and closed very slowly as well. As soon as it finally opened the whole way..we would start to move things in but literally as soon as it opened the whole way... it began to close slowly again and beeping. If you put your hand out to stop it... it kept going. Safety mechanism to stop if something was in the way... didn't work at all scary. This went on for another hour or so before the elevator completely stopped working. My husband (who already has a phobia of elevators) was trapped inside on the top floor. All the power shut off. It was 38 degrees. He was drenched in sweat. Shirt 100% soaked. After he finally managed to get 10 minutes later... i overheard the manager on the phone say that we would be responsible for the service call (elevators still weren't working at this time) . Why are we responsible for an elevator that was already not working right on our arrival??? We asked if we could just keep our things in the uhaul and pay for an additional day and come back to unload once elevator finished.. NOPE. We then had to carry large items up stairs (couch,dressers etc) in major heat as the AC didn't seem to be working in the storage facility either. I have to mention the amount of people ( 7-9 ) people in line at one point.. i waited over 90 minutes for service.. more then once yesterday. This poor male employee was working alone. Completely inappropriate and not at all fair. The end of the month must be the busiest time due to rentals ending etc in peoples apartment. Why was he working alone? I do have to say that he was the ONLY good experience yesterday. Very professional and kind. I felt so bad for him. All in all, this was not a good experience at all.. quite a nightmare actually. The cherry on top was hearing that I'm responsible for an elevator bill and being accused of propping elevator doors open. I will not be paying a bill if one is presented to me as it was already broken. If uhaul insists... see you in court.

The parking for large vehicles is difficult. Very tight especially when more than one van is there. You need to move the U -Haul vehicles from the side(front.) Otherwise 👍😊

Storage area is quite clean , the staff are approachable. But the equipment was in need of repair. Cart # 3 has a bad wheel, so the cart does not turn properly and causes items to fall off. Thanks

Some nights the man-door nearest to the loading roll up door would have difficulty latching. I had to swipe my card over the sensor a few times to get it to lock.
